Brand new eposide out now! Dead Reynolds ASCENDING ANTHEMIC ROCK QUINTET SET LOOSE NEW SINGLE & REVEAL DEBUT ALBUM PLANS! Fast rising modern rockers, DEAD REYNOLDS, are poised to climb even further with the release of their ultra-hooky new single, Bright Lights, out now Check out Bright lights https://youtu.be/HESGPSkc0aE . This killer cut has been taken from the band's hugely anticipated debut album, Breathe With Strangers, which arrives on Friday 20th August via Fort Records. Ever since their explosion onto the scene at the end of 2018, DEAD REYNOLDS have gone from strength to strength. To date, the energetic fivesome have assembled an army of dedicated followers and earned the respect and praise from a plethora of tastemakers. The band have racked up widespread support for their recorded work, including last year's sophomore EP, Frontier, which received buoyant accolades from Powerplay Magazine and Louder/Classic Rock Magazine. The release also gained extensive recognition from the likes of Maximum Volume Music, Moshville, Real Gone, Devils Gate Music, and The Punk Site, to name just a few. As well as obtaining broad acclaim for their previous EPs, the band have also notched up airtime with Kerrang! TV and Scuzz TV. DEAD REYNOLDS have also been repeatedly pioneered by Kerrang Radio's Johnny Doom, with Johnny consistently championing the band's singles and releases. Not only have DEAD REYNOLDS been regularly playlisted by Kerrang Radio, but the Brit anthemic rockers have also picked up worldwide radio airplay across fifteen countries, and have been played by more than two hundred radio stations. Sharing stages with everyone from Deaf Havana, Mallory Knox, and Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), as well as their own headline shows, has certainly increased their profile. The band's Spotify streaming numbers also demonstrate their notable growth (Dead Reynolds' last EP, Frontier, is up to 100k plays and counting). DEAD REYNOLDS are now set to break out to the masses. The band will release their debut album, Breathe With Strangers, in August. The Brit modern rock crew are also primed to drop their massively captivating new single, Bright Lights. The track is an infectious piece of contagious alt-rock laced with thoughtful breakdowns, a huge refrain, and a modern tilt which demonstrates that the five-piece are unafraid to twist and reshape their sound. Further singles and video releases are planned throughout the Spring and Summer, so watch out. DEAD REYNOLDS are destined to be one of the bands to breakthrough in 2021. Today we know Toby for being a part of the incredible band Wayward sons 'Unwind' is the lead single taken from Wayward Sons and former Little Angels frontman Toby Jepson's forthcoming compilation album 'Viewfinder'. Originally featured on his 2001 'Refresh' EP and remastered for the retrospective release 'Viewfinder' by Simon Francis (Toby and the Whole Truth 'Ignorance Is Bliss'); 'Unwind' is an up tempo contemporary rock song that's perfectly suited to lift moods and still remains fresh to the ears 20 years on. Toby reflects on the making of 'Unwind' and 'Viewfinder' album in a new series of story videos, which further reveal what happened to the British singer/song writer between Little Angels splitting up and the formation of Wayward Sons: .Check out the video for 'Unwind': https://youtu.be/xM6cHxbYTF8 . Its catchy plenty of hooks and packed with melody, a really catchy fun track to go into the weekend with Thank you to Rob - Stampede Press Just a couple of Questions Does anyone feel the time is approaching say in 2 months to start thinking about attending shows? New Episode Out BROKEN CALLING METAL NEWCOMERS RELEASE ANTHEMIC NEW TRACK! REDEMPTION OUT NOW! ‘This is a brave record by a band who should make it big,' Devolution Magazine Rapidly rising metal quintet BROKEN CALLING are making themselves heard with their explosive new single, Redemption. The track, which is instantaneously furious, political, venomous, and contagious, has all the markings of an anthem for 2020. Be sure to hit up the single at https://sptfy.com/5htY and check out the video, here - https://youtu.be/CmDKVimFDEU BROKEN CALLING started life in 2019 and feature members hailing from London and Dover. Infused with a fiery passion, the fivesome are utterly determined to make sure their voice is heard. Having toured the UK and Europe in previous bands, they already have a wealth of live experience to bring to their blistering sound. BROKEN CALLING, consisting of guitarists Martin Osborne and Callum Green, along with James Falconer who provides stellar depth, as well as Jack Apella hammering on the drums and frontman Connor Snyder, who's guttural yet melodic vocals bring it all together, have everything in their locker to be major players in 2021. Having already supported established bands such as WSTR, Griever and Silent Descent, and breaking the attendance record for Facedown London, the southern metallers have now unleashed, Redemption, which is their first single since the release of their debut EP, From The Ashes. Redemption has already hit over 10,000 streams on Spotify and it's a no holds barred statement about how the government have failed the country during the current pandemic. The band state: “This is an anthem of anger for the people who have had enough”. The single is an undoubted banger, stocked with super stout and progressive riffs, razor edge percussion and earnest ferocity, all in the effort to deliver a severe blow to the senses. Full of their trademark rage, revulsion and noise, BROKEN CALLING scream from the highest point possible: “This is my Redemption, this is my time.” Band links below for Broken Calling can be found below www.facebook.com/BrokenCallingUK www.instagrxam.com/brokencalling https://open.spotify.com/artist/1yo3fHdwFrqm6sDvjhVm49?si=bkAgWzEoTyuzJqmXwO0j9Q My thoughts its clear to see why this track has already racked up 10,000 and more streams, people are angry they have had enough and this is Broken Calling, calling what I love about redemption is it's so simple and yet it's so prominent right now, regardless of what your political views are even if you don't agree with this messaged in this track remember you do have a voice it's your own. Its packed with riff energy and a natural bounce and passion, the chorus is one Broken Calling will have you having your fists up in the air and screaming back the chorus. A massive thumbs up from Setting The Tone go and check this out! Moving over to our next release of this Week we have a band I have not featured in a while the awesome Dead Reynolds and their new single voices OUT NOW ANIMATED ANTHEMIC ROCK CREW DETAIL NEW SINGLE & DEBUT ALBUM PLANS! Much revered hi-octane modern rockers, DEAD REYNOLDS, continue their ascension with the release of their hugely captivating new single, Voices, out now - https://youtu.be/PaneIktjm8 o. The infectious track has been lifted from the band's eagerly anticipated debut album, which lands in the Spring via Fort Records. Coming at you from East Anglia, DEAD REYNOLDS burst onto the UK scene at the end of 2018, and since then, the energetic quartet have amassed an army of fans and garnered the support from a slew of tastemakers. To date, DEAD REYNOLDS have received rampant support for their back catalogue, including last year's sophomore EP, Frontier, which racked up critical acclaim from Powerplay Magazine and Louder/Classic Rock Magazine. The release also received impressive backing from the likes of Maximum Volume Music, Moshville, Real Gone, Devils Gate Music, and The Punk Site, to name just a few. Besides acquiring extensive praise for their previous EPs, the band have also notched up airtime with Kerrang! TV and Scuzz TV. The fivesome have been repeatedly pioneered by Kerrang Radio's Johnny Doom, with Johnny consistently championing the band's singles and releases. Not only have DEAD REYNOLDS been regularly playlisted by Kerrang Radio, but the UK tunesmiths have also gained worldwide radio airplay across fifteen countries and have been played by more than two hundred radio stations. Live performances with everyone from Deaf Havana, Mallory Knox, and Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), as well as their own headline shows, have further served their growing cause. In 2020, DEAD REYNOLDS were also confirmed to play a series of prominent festivals: Hard Rock Hell, VW White Noise, Reapham Fest, Stamford Riverside, and Hevy Music Fest; however, all events were cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic. The band's reach has certainly been impressive, and their Spotify streaming numbers demonstrate their growth (Dead Reynolds' last EP, Frontier, is up to 100k plays and counting). With a strong pedigree in place, it's now time for DEAD REYNOLDS to break out on a larger scale, and the UK alt-rockers have the ammunition to do so. The band will release their debut album this Spring, alongside a Rockumentary book captured by world renowned Rock photographer, Nick Elliott. DEAD REYNOLDS are also primed to drop their explosive new single, Voices. The track and album explore a fresh approach to song writing for the band, revealing a unique and contemporary sound with a greater emphasis on production, thanks to the influence of long-time producer and friend Jack Murphy. Guitarist and Vocalist, Dom Greenwood comments: “This is a direction we have wanted to go for some time, to make the sound a bit more epic, but still retain the power we love from pop punk and alternative rock. It's still Dead Reynolds, but with a modern twist.” With plans to widely tour the album from the Summer of 2021, DEAD REYNOLDS are ripe to rise and rise. Band links can be found for Dead Reynolds below www.facebook.com/DeadReynolds/ www.instagram.com/dead_reynolds/ www.twitter.com/dead_reynolds https://open.spotify.com/artist/7pAkErb3vLY5dgghk9zmqf my thoughts Dead Reynolds voices has a lot happening on this track there are so many different sounds that are layered within this track, there is a natural energy and flow to Voices, it has a natural arena feel to it, with a natural hook in the chorus guitars that punch the way through a fantastic mix of melody and power and great production, I can't wait to see what Dead Reynolds do in 2021. for fans of like Malloy Knox, Bring Me the horizon moving over to our next single this week to our last single this week and the return of a band who we are happy to have back The Hot One Two who have just released their new single Playing with fire link is here youtube.com/watch?v=FYjec4h3R1k&feature=youtu.be Brit rockers The Hot One Two Aka T.H.O.T are back with their new single Rolling Stone delivering a riffy, hook heavy slab of rock n roll to the listener. T.H.O.T are reminiscent of that classical sound many of us fell in love with, infused with modern anthemic rock. The track is guitar driven showing crushing grooves and soaring vocals. “We think “Rolling Stone” is a salute to Classic “Feel Good” Rock. It'll have you wanting to jump in the car on a sunny day, put the windows down, the speakers up and hit the open road. The video consists of footage we managed to capture this year, pre-Covid, from our only two shows of 2020 in Copenhagen & Cambridge. We've missed performing, and we just hope sharing this footage helps to reignite your excitement for live music once again, because there's a light at the end of the tunnel, and all your favourite bands will be gracing their stages again soon”. - Joe Chivers Made up of furry-faced frontman Simon West, Nick Manners on Guitar, Bass player Nick Blackburn and Joe Chivers on Drums, currently aided by Rory Lewis on second guitar, The Hot One Two are a humble collective of musicians hailing from Cambridgeshire. Bound together through a mutual love for Rock music (and all it entails), the band are seeking to spread their message across the nation – a message to reassure the UK (and the rest of the world for that matter), that Rock music, is very much alive! Cramming contagious riffs, face-contorting solos and monstrous beats in to their tracks, the guys put a modern spin on the Classic Rock sound of the 70s and 80s. After fast becoming a staple within the local up-and-coming Rock Community and NWOCR Scene with their bold, energetic and intense live shows it's fair to say that they are a band not to be missed when gracing a stage near you. Ep review for the band Dead Reynolds and their up coming Ep frontier
Would you like two hours of the finest new & unreleased tunes to get your ears rocking? Well you've just come to the right place as we have it all for you!!! 26th Avenue came in for a sweet live session and to chat about their gig coming up at the weekend for the Off The Record - Independent Music Festival 2019. This young, up and coming indie rock band came in to smash 5 live tracks with their new music along with a cracking cover of Zombie. We also have some sweet tunage to keep the vibe alive, with tunes from YOUTH ILLUSION, Dead Reynolds, Late Night Legacy, The ADY BAKER SOUND, Cascade, Driftwood, Pompadour, The Courts, Fond of Rudy, The Gallery, Hayes & Y, The Losing Touch, Caspian's Island, The Sway, The Coral Cross Band, Abbie Ozard, Erin Bloomer, Joe Ramsey & Tilly Greentree. If you have new or unreleased music and would like either radio airplay or a review (or both) send them over via the website at www.ThePremiumBlendRadioShow.co.uk
Its a shiny and new!! That's the logo and not the show!! Tonight I'll be joined by those Worthing legends better known as Moonlight Parade for one live session I've been really looking forward to. Tracks this week are also shiny and new, musically that is! We have new tracks from the likes of Dead Reynolds, The C33s, Crystal Tides, Sounds like a Storm, Capital Eye, Fragile Creatures, The Trusted, The Thieves, Come at the King, Katie MF, Just Like Fruit, The Wired, Steve McElroy Music, Dan Cox & The Blackbirds, Jamesy & Bastette. The mix comes from the shows semi resident DJ, 25ThC of the Original Forty Fivers with the next 7x7 mix that's exclusive to the show. This one is a cheeky Hip Hop mix that just needs to be heard. How does that all sound to you? Did you know that we now do reviews? Have a little look via www.ThePremiumBlendRadioShow.co.uk
Let the funk fly!! This week we were joined in the studio by the funky, soulful sounds of The Isle Of CC and they hit all the right notes for an impressive acoustic session. The tracks this week were hot and fresh, just how you like them. Get your ears around Light Years, Dead Reynolds, The Hearted, Trench, Seasonal, Aren Drift, Sove, Drusila, Simon D James, Yakul feat. Rob Araujo, Smiley & The Underclass, Dubious Roots, Bryony Dunn, Brooke Law and Neil Brannigan Tyrrell. Its was the return of the #20MinuteMix and we pulled a banger out of the bag with Stickybuds sweet Fractal Forest mix.
