Anna erklärt mir, dass Bedürfnisse zu Teilen sogar genetisch festgelegt und daher höchst individuell sind. “Nur weil du ein hohes Bedürfnis nach Nähe hast, muss das bei jemand anderem noch lange nicht so sein.” • Vielleicht hast du zuerst an die maslowsche Bedürfnispyramide gedacht. Oder vielleicht hast du auch direkt eine negative Assoziation gehabt: Bedürfnisse... das klingt so unsexy, irgendwie so abhängig. • Bedürfnisse sind irgendwie immer noch ein unliebsames Thema. Die Kommunikation darüber fällt uns manchmal unglaublich schwer und oft werden sie in unserer Gesellschaft sogar mit Schwäche und Abhängigkeit assoziiert. • Jedoch zu Unrecht! Denn sie sind vollkommen menschlich und natürlich - jeder hat Bedürfnisse! Sie sind der Ursprung für unsere Gefühle, unser Erleben, unser Verhalten und somit die Grundlage für unser aller Wohlbefinden. Leider sind sich viel zu wenige Menschen ihrer Motive überhaupt bewusst. • Gerade deshalb ist es so wichtig, dass wir uns mit ihnen auseinandersetzen und vor allem lernen sie anzunehmen. “Wenn wir unsere Bedürfnisse kennen und verstehen, dass jeder Mensch unterschiedliche Bedürfnisse hat, können wir mit mehr Verständnis in die Kommunikation gehen,” sagt Anna. • Wie findet man denn nun raus, was einem wichtig ist? • Persönlichkeitstests gibt es ja wie Sand am Meer: DISG, Persolog, Big Five, DISC- Test, MBTI usw. Sie alle geben dir Aufschluss darüber, WIE du bist, welche Eigenschaften du mitbringst, welche Stärken und Schwächen du hast. Nur WARUM bist du so wie du bist? Das REISS-Modell setzt genau da an: es untersucht aus welchen Motiven du handelst und welche Bedürfnisse bei dir ausgeprägt sind. • Anna Ziegler arbeitet mit eben diesem Ansatz. Dr. Williams has recently completed a study of 50 church planters who were approved for church planting via the Church Planting Assessment Center between 1997 and 2009. Their original DiSC scores and current DiSC scores were compared to the growth and per capita giving of their respective churches. The results show a clear trend in DiSC scores and church planting.
