Meet Latrice Bankhead, Dual MS, MHA - VISIONARY & DREAM CATCHER - Author & Owner of Club Z! Tutoring of West Sacramento. She's a walking inspiration and I'm immensely grateful to elevate her voice and bring her goodness your way, #LEADERS! Latrice is one of my GREAT friends. We've known each other since the start of our career and thankfully reunited last year. She is such a bright light in this world. She is an author of children's books and fantasy fiction young adult novels, and owner of Club Z! Tutoring West Sacramento, an in-home tutoring service focused on supporting our children as they reacclimate to our post-pandemic world and catch up on learning curves that were disrupted. She is a self-proclaimed lifelong learner, who values the beauty of discovery and uncovering layers of truths - the why behind the why. Her non-traditional educational path led to three master's degrees, not because she loved academic institutions but the doors it opened to worlds and places she wouldn't have otherwise explored. As part of her legacy, she wants people to remember that she dared to make a difference in things that she saw that weren't right. She left my mark in this world by trying to heal those who came after her through words and gifting others the ability to learn so that they can open windows and doors for themselves that would otherwise be closed. In this episode you'll hear us covering a variety of topics including: - Being an Athlete in a Male Dominated Sport - Lessons from Latrice the Point Guard - Why Latrice Purchased a Tutoring Company And More!
