Before we dive into in-depth explanations, let's see three fast way to say I'm sorry in French. Désolé(e) ! Sorry! Pardon ! Sorry! Excuse-me! Toutes mes excuses ! My apologies! Any of these three expressions would work to say sorry as if you bumped into someone, or to be polite when you did something slightly wrong. The most common way to say ‘I'm sorry' in French is “je suis désolé(e)“. How To Spell I'm Sorry In French? “Désolé” is a French adjective, so its spelling will agree depending who speaks. The good thing is that the pronunciation won't change whether it's spelled désolé/e/s. We typically use it with the verb to be in French. 1. Examples: Paula est désolé. Paula is sorry. Lola est désolée. Lola is sorry. Paulo est désolé Paulo is sorry. Folu et Seun sont désolés. Folu and Seun are sorry. 2. Other examples It's very common to modify this statement with an adverb to make it more profond, more apologetic, more formal. Je suis vraiment désolé. I'm really sorry. Je suis sincèrement désolé. I'm sincerely sorry. Je suis profondément désolé. I'm deeply sorry. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/easyfrenchwithmedinat/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/easyfrenchwithmedinat/support

Achieving the Paris Agreement targets requires a radical transformation of the world's food and land use systems. The land sector alone can deliver at least 30% of the mitigation required to reach net-zero. In this context, companies with a land-use footprint must embrace interventions to conserve and restore forests and other natural ecosystems in the landscapes they source from as part of their climate strategies. To help scale up these investments, carbon accounting frameworks that provide the right incentives are key. This hour-long webinar assessed what's required to drive urgency and transformation in the food and land use system. We discussed: What is the role of carbon accounting rules to incentivize the right actions for transformation? The challenges that need to be addressed to make these incentives work in practice The challenges and opportunities for companies with a land-use footprint to invest and scale up natural climate solutions at a landscape level Our panel: Michele Zollinger, global sustainable sourcing for pulp and paper, and climate lead, Nestlé Scarlett Benson, co-director of knowledge generation for the food and land use coalition (FOLU), SYSTEMIQ Sandra Genee, head of value change initiative, SustainCERT Tilmann Silber, strategy lead climate and nature, Barry Callebaut Moderated by Toby Webb, Innovation Forum

There's a whole world of snacks out there just waiting to be discovered... and all it takes is a quick read of Folu Akinkuotu's Unsnackable newsletter to find out what they are and where they come from. Folu grew up in Minnesota, and it was the vending machines at her parents' office that first sparked a love of snack foods. But as she grew older, her travels, commitment to cooking, and deep curiosity in dark internet really solidified her affection for funky, foreign treats. Since launching Unsnackable last fall, Folu has received pickup in the New York Times, the Substack homepage, and just recently recorded an interview for a rather well-known 3-letter radio network... She's not just a newsletter writer though. Baking and cooking have always served as creative outlets, and projects like her "Year in Cakes" and #HumbleBragDiet have attracted quite the loyal crowd of followers. We talked about a little bit of everything in this episode from strange corners of the internet, to note taking processes (or lack thereof), to teaching herself how to be a full-on mad scientist in the kitchen. You can keep up with Folu's incredible creations on Instagram or Twitter @notfolu, and also explore all the crazy snacks from around the world on her Unsnackable newsletter. And if you're not already, you should be keeping up with Destination Different all over the internet... Twitter - @ry3dunn Instagram - @destinationdifferent TikTok - @destinationdifferent
This Q3 episode is with a special guest and old classmate! Folu Adeyeye is a brand marketing and digital professional passionate about marketing and innovation with a deep love for Africa. He's constantly working on exciting projects even as he leads the African Leadership University in Mauritius. We catch up on old times and also talk about Folu's experience even though his working is still in Africa and he highlights the common feelings we have about moving abroad-even if it is within the same continent. The outcome of being open-minded is that you get to understand how best to engage with other people. One the thing about working in a diverse environment is that you get to learn about new cultures and at the same time teach people about your culture, so you constantly have to represent. Ps. The one about men's secret fears It may not be too surprising why some men might choose to hide their fears from women. But even when we men get together as friends, it's still very uncommon for us to talk about our secret fears. From how we look, to our account balance, to if we're still under 5 ft 5, to rejection, commitment, and disappointment, whew, can't deny that there's plenty for many men worry about. One would have hoped that locker rooms would provide a safe space for men to open up about these fears but that's rarely the case. We all have fears that we spend a great deal of time trying to hide. But what happens when we make those fears the subject of a conversation? Well, we sat down with another old friend, Folu, to find out. Folu is a business developer, amateur photographer and writer, and runs an amazing blog - foluoyefeso.com, where he documents his experiences and interactions with Nigerian places, people and plates!
