Tolu Ogunrinde - April 4th, 2026 - From Top to Bottom (Easter Sunday) Matthew 27 v 50-51 Exo 26 v 30-33 Holy Place Vs Most Holy Place – (Exo 30 v 1-10; 29 v 1-9; 27 v 20-21; Lev. 16) Tabernacle A portable tent-like sanctuary Instructions/Pattern given to Moses (Exo 25:9) Built during Israel's wilderness journey Showed that God was travelling with His people Could be assembled and dismantled as the people moved (Num 4) Temple A permanent development of the Tabernacle pattern Built after Israel settled in the land Constructed under King Solomon in Jerusalem A fixed structure; not meant to be moved The curtain symbolized the separation between a Holy God (Lev 19:1-2) and Sinful man (Rom 3:23; 5:19) Restricted Access – Only the High Priest could pass beyond that curtain, and only once a year on the day of atonement (Lev 16 v 29-30). In Lev. 16 v 1-2 – God told Moses to warn his brother. In Num 18v7 – God told Aaron that any unauthorized person that comes near will die When all is considered, it reveals a relationship shaped by fear and distance from God. Man stood outside, looking in, aware of God's presence, yet unable to draw near. And what does this remind us? Access to God required mediation Forgiveness required sacrifice Worship involved reverence and order Rom 5 v 6: 2 Cor. 5v21: Phil. 2 v 5-8: John 1 v 29 : Heb 9 v 11-12 : Direct access to God – Hebrews 10 Rom 5 v 10-11: Hebrews 4 v 14-16: Romans 3 v21-30 Highlights There is no longer a need for an earthly mediator or human intermediary. We now relate directly to God through our great High Priest - Jesus Christ, our Saviour. There is no longer a need for repeated sacrifices. The blood of Jesus is sufficient- once and for all time. There is no longer a need for a physical temple. Access to God is now spiritual and personal. Salvation is a gift available to all. No one can earn it; it is given by grace. When it comes to salvation and the forgiveness of sins, God no longer requires human effort or offerings. What He wants now is our unwavering believe in the finished work of His only Son - Jesus Christ. Everything that was once required by law has now been fulfilled through the death of his only Son. Prayer Lord, help me to understand and appreciate all You have done for me.

Wolves show their resilience once again with a battling 2-2 comeback draw away at Brentford, but how did they turn it around? Dave Edwards and James Bird break down a real game of two halves, analysing what wasn't working early on and how a key tactical tweak, including the introduction of Angel Gomes, shifted the momentum back in Wolves' favour. There's plenty of praise for Adam Armstrong after a clinical finish and growing influence in the final third, while the lads also check in on Mateus Mané's development and highlight the continued progress of Tolu and Jackson Tchatchoua. Rob Edwards' in-game management comes under the spotlight again, with his substitutions proving decisive, alongside clear signs that this Wolves side is getting fitter, sharper, and more connected as a group. Irish author Marian Keyes has sold over 30 million copies of her books worldwide over the past three decades. From her 1995 debut Watermelon to Rachel's Holiday and last year's 'menopause romance' My Favourite Mistake, she's championed telling ordinary women's stories in all their glory, with plenty of humour thrown in. Now some of her most-loved books and characters have been adapted into a TV series called The Walsh Sisters which has just debuted on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Marian and the show's co-creator Stefanie Preissner talk to presenter Nuala McGovern about bringing Rachel and her sisters to life on screen. As the Government prepares to unveil its plans for a major overhaul of the SEND system, we hear from BBC Political Correspondent Alex Forsyth on what's been said so far and what's expected. The government has said it will spend billions to make English mainstream schools more inclusive for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, with Sir Keir Starmer saying that the experience of his late brother, who had learning disabilities, makes him "determined to change Britain so that it is truly built for all." The number of people with education, health and care plans (EHCPs) up to the age of 25 in England has doubled in a decade. Student midwives have contacted us to say many of them are struggling to find jobs despite a serious shortage of midwives in the NHS. A new survey from the Royal College of Midwives echoes that finding. It says 31% of those newly qualified midwifes are still not employed in the role and the majority of those who have found employment are on fixed term contracts. This comes a year after the government announced it's Graduate Guarantee pledging that every newly qualified nurse and midwife in England would have the opportunity to apply to join the NHS workforce. We hear from Safia, who is in her final year of midwifery training, and Gill Walton, Chief Executive of the Royal College of Midwives. Award-winning British Nigerian fashion designer Tolu Coker joins Nuala in the studio fresh from kicking off London Fashion Week with King Charles in the front row. Her latest collection, Survivor's Remorse, is inspired by grief, nostalgia and childhood memories and is a joyful celebration of growing up in 1990s London and the community that shaped her.
