Vic Verchereau welcomes Dr. Frank Weller, who is the President of Great Lakes Christian College. Great Lakes Christian College is proud to introduce Dr. Frank Weller as the 10th President. Weller is a graduate of GLCC. He earned his Master of Art degree from Huntington University and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Bethel Seminary. Weller has a rich background in ministry and leadership. Prior to his presidency, Weller served churches in Kokomo, Crawfordsville and Butler, Indiana before moving to Michigan where he became the lead minister at South Lansing Church of Christ. Weller has also served as an adjunct professor at GLCC in the areas of Homiletics and Church Leadership. Coach Westerlund is the Head Men's Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics at Great Lakes Christian College. In just three years, he has lead the Crusader athletic department and Men's Basketball program to historic new heights. Prior to his time at GLCC, Coach Westerlund coached for two seasons at Wright State Lake. In his time as Director of Athletics, Westerlund has changed the makeup and culture of the athletic department. He has spearheaded the effort in redesigning the college's athletic logo. He also secured partnerships with PrestoSports to create a brand new athletic website and five-year sponsorship deals with BSN Sports and Nike to become the official apparel outfitter and equipment provider for the college. He also created the new GLCC Athletic Hall of Honor in addition to reconnecting numerous generations of Crusader athletics with Great Lakes Christian College. The athletic programs have increased student-athlete participation and new student-athlete enrollment by 250%. Born and raised in Chester, PA this whirlwind of sass and ass twirled into San Diego from NYC in 2017. Twirlisha began her dance training in ballet, modern, African, tap and jazz at a young age and spent years working as a semi-professional and professional modern dancer in Philadelphia and NYC. She thought her dance career had come to an end, but decided to take some burlesque classes for fun and caught the glitter bug. She performed in student performances for Glitter Tribe Studio's and also with Di’Lovely as a member of her Gaslamp Cabaret. She then had the amazing honor of making her burlesque solo debut at Ginger and Whiskey’s Burlesque Boogie Nights in September 2017. She has since performed in Vaudeville Vixens' Burlesque Brunch SD, as the2019 Fresh Face Feature for the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, Venessa Chevelle's Afrotease, Spellbound Burlesque in Arizona, The Como Lake Burlesque Festival in Italy, Burlesque Bingo at VLV, The Savannah Burlesque Festival, The Nashville Burlesque Festival, Smokey Mountain Burlesque Festival and many more?
