No RIXC aisberga redzamākā un pieejamākā daļa man šķiet mākslas centra galerija Lenču ielā 2.
“Orbītu” interesē tehnoloģijas un to mākslinieciska uzlaušana. Audiodzejas instalācija “Radiosiena” veidota no 90 radiouztvērējiem pie 20 metrus garas sienas.

This month's show really is going down the toilet! That is to say, the downstairs loo of our special guest Matt Skywalker-Jones, which he's turned into a bijou display room. Matt tells all to Andy P, and talks about his collecting journey, and his many vintage passions. Elsewhere, the lads ponder Star Tourism, tell all about their latest finds, and battle it out in the Action Playset Face-Off, which sees a Death Star and an Ewok Village up against not one but two Cantina playsets. Jason hosts this month's quiz, and in New Acquisition shout-outs, we hear about 12-back display shippers, Japanese pencil cases, Peruvian board games, Helix and Letraset shenanigans on eBay, and an HCF pencil pot. A packed Rebel Briefings section sees chat about latest happenings in the collecting universe, as we catch up with a new blog on early Kenner displays, hear about the latest charitable offering from the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society, recall Thomas Troy's Troop Transporter, take a look at a Palitoy book, a signed Survival Kit and a great Greek gun, before looking ahead to Echo Live and Celebration Japan. Licensee this month is Burger King, as the team sink their teeth into a whopper of a promotion across all three original trilogy movies. Plenty of bluff, bluster and banter besides, look for the podcast in all the usual places.

In this episode of The Write Place, I'm joined by award-winning historical crime novelist D.V. Bishop for a deep dive into the craft of storytelling, structure, and writing with confidence.D.V. shares his Wallace & Gromit approach to plotting—laying the tracks just ahead of the train as he writes—and why mystery writers don't always need to know the ending before they begin. We discuss the pressures of writing under contract, the benefits of finishing Book Two before Book One is published, and how to find the balance between planning and discovery. He also reveals the book that changed his life (and career), the unexpected way he researches characters, and why Call the Midwife helped him write a convent full of nuns. If you've ever wrestled with plotting, structure, or self-doubt, this episode is packed with insight, inspiration, and plenty of laughs. His latest book is Divine Fury - check it out here.Connect with D.V. When it comes to sitting around that beautiful Holiday table, something happens when we're surrounded by people who love us, where the invisible adult line called independence and autonomy is blurred, wiped out somehow, and all topics seem like fair game. As vegans we need to deal with conversations about why we aren't eating the non-vegan apple pie and what's the difference if you just have "a little butter", navigate questions about grass fed beef, animals who are treated well, mom and pop farms, and the carnivore diet. If you're in recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating you may have to listen to people talking about their exercise regimes and what diet they're on. If you're just a regular human, you may have to navigate comments on your single status, or your childless or child free status, your child raising ways, your job status, how your body has changed. Mix a large family gathering with some extended family you haven't seen in a while, alcohol, traditions and especially food traditions, and you'll find yourself in conversations around the table where you might need a few skills that run along a spectrum of brushing it off, to a little grace and understanding, to a big dose of boundary setting. This is what we'll be talking about in today's post and episode, how to set boundaries in conversations around the Holidays, whether these surround the topics of being vegan, or any other life choice or change. In our latest episode, join Technology Strategy Director Jason Walker and Technical Evangelist Matt Bradford to unpack the essential components of modern data survival preparedness. Our discussion weaves through Pure Storage's evolving cyber resilience solutions, from foundational replication capabilities to cutting-edge DRaaS offerings. We share and discuss practical insights on implementing critical protective measures like SafeMode snapshots and how to leverage Pure1's security assessment tools to identify vulnerabilities before they become crises. Midway thru the episode we hit an entertaining "Bug Out Bag Challenge" segment where random survival items spark creative analogies to data protection strategies. Blending technical expertise with accessible metaphors, Walker and Bradford demonstrate why data resilience isn't just an IT concern but a fundamental business survival skill. They explore how Pure Storage's integrated suite of tools – including multiple options for native replication, automated assessments, and disaster recovery and restore services – helps organizations build the ultimate data survival kit for an increasingly unpredictable digital landscape.
