Welcome back to the stories of the Ilocano people of the Philippines. In the first story, the Monkey is a jerk to the turtle and then is jerky to the other monkeys. In the second, a fisherman think the fish he caught was a priest. His wife thinks it is the governor. Both think they have committed a crime and try to run away. The third story is about a president who wished that he had horns, and then wishes he didn't when the people come to see. The fourth story is about a monkey that loses his tail but then trades up to get some cookies, but then he meets a dog. and finally, the fifth story is about a childless couple that find a magical gourd baby. And I'll leave it at that.
