Orchestrating the Nomad Century: Quotas, New Cities, and the Food Production Revolution. Gaia Vince encourages a proactive vision for managing massive climate-driven migration, involving facing expected heat, enlarging northern cities, and building entirely new ones. Vince provides an optimistic example of a managed migration where a farmer in Gujarat, India, applies for migration and is assigned to Aberdeen, Scotland. She suggests establishing a new United Nations agency with "real teeth" to organize migration among host and origin nations, allocating people via a quota system to specific jobs and areas. To mitigate hostility, migrants would commit to taking jobs in high-need industries for their first few years. A major challenge is food supply, requiring a complete overhaul of global food production, necessitating a shift toward a plant-based diet, as mass meat production is extremely inefficient. Alternative food sources like plant-based meats, insects, and vertical farming in cities are essential. Vince emphasizes the enormous potential for biodiversity restoration if damaged natural landscapes are left alone.
The pull to climb higher, be the best, have the influence keeps us further from walking with Jesus. If our attention is on these things we will miss the invitation to the table Jesus is preparing for us. Service that Jesus models is justice, mercy, and reconciliation in a culture of injustice and division. When our focus remains on Jesus we can seek justice and mercy and work towards reconciliation in a world that is broken. Do we love God? Do we love our neighbor? Jesus responds to the question, ‘how do I inherit eternal life?' with the Shema: love God and love others. Who are the ‘others' in our life? Have you ever wondered why men rarely talk about size concerns, even as cosmetic procedures become increasingly normalized for women? In this fascinating conversation with Dr. Joel Pash, we pull back the curtain on the secretive world of male enhancement and discover why more men than ever are seeking solutions.Dr. Pash, an anesthesiologist by training and co-founder of Upsize Clinic, reveals how his expertise with complex injections led him to revolutionizing male enhancement procedures. Far from the risky surgeries many envision, the modern approach involves a 45-minute injectable procedure with immediate results and minimal recovery. With effects lasting approximately two years, it represents a safer alternative to permanent surgical implants that can lead to serious complications.Throughout our candid discussion, we explore why men across America – from metropolitan hubs like San Francisco and Miami to everywhere in between – are quietly investing in these procedures, often without telling even their closest friends. Dr. Pash shares shocking stories of medical tourism gone wrong, with patients seeking bargain procedures in Mexico or Eastern Europe only to require corrective treatment later. At around $6,000, these procedures aren't covered by insurance, yet demand continues to grow as men seek the same confidence boost women have long pursued through cosmetic enhancement. The parallels between male enhancement and other cosmetic procedures prove enlightening – from the psychological benefits to the potential risks when cutting corners. Whether you're curious about the procedure yourself or simply fascinated by this rarely discussed aspect of men's health, this episode offers unprecedented insight into why size matters and the lengths men will go to address their most private insecurities.Discover more about safe enhancement options by visiting upsizematters.com, where you can find a qualified provider near you through their doctor finder tool.Join the What if it Did Work movement on FacebookGet the Book!www.omarmedrano.comwww.calendly.com/omarmedrano/15min
Enlarging Your Vision, Enlarging Your Faith Faith Is a Spiritual Practice“Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:17Faith is active—it's not just an internal belief but a practice lived out.It requires action, listening, and co-creating with God.Everyday life is a catalyst for practicing and growing in faith.Reflection Question:Have you ever felt prompted by God to step out—even when the next step wasn't clear?Anchoring Our Faith in ScriptureHebrews 11:1 “Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.” Hebrews 11:6 “Without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith, knowing that He is real and that He rewards the faith of those who passionately seek Him.”These verses remind us that faith isn't only about eternity—it's about now. So how do we begin to live out that kind of faith in our everyday lives?Vision Precedes Faith“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” — Proverbs 29:18Faith begins with seeing beyond the present.God often gives just enough vision to invite trust—not the full map.Application:Ask yourself: What does “on earth as it is in heaven” look like in my life? The Seed: A Picture of FaithA seed's growth mirrors the life of faith:Biological ProcessDormancy ends Seed coat breaks Roots emerge Shoot pushes up True leaves growSpiritual ParallelGod awakens purpose within us. Growth often begins in brokenness. Deep, unseen faith work happens in solitude and surrender. We reach toward the light of Christ amid resistance. We begin to live fully, bearing fruit for others.“Believe you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Mark 11:24 Remember: Even flowers come before fruit. Growth takes time.Barriers to Living by FaithOver-Control• Plans are good—but faith means holding them with an open hand. Resistance to ChangeChange is uncomfortable, but it's necessary for transformation. FearFaith and fear both ask us to believe in something we cannot see. Which one will you choose?Faith as a Daily PracticeIdentityStart with who you are in Christ. You are enough.Don't just resist old habits—focus on the person you're becoming. Daily Practice: Begin with scripture or affirmations about your identity in God. Surrender• Let go of control. Surrender isn't passive—it's active trust. Daily Practice: Ask, what am I trying to control today? Then, release it in prayer. Authenticity• Be who God made you to be—not a copy of someone else. Daily Practice: Look for one opportunity to act honestly and faithfully.Faith in CommunityCarry faith for one another.Speak vision, truth, and encouragement into others.Ask: Are my words giving life and faith to those around me?Personal Reflection• Where is God asking me to practice faith right now? o A decision?o A relationship? • Am I living with trust or playing it safe?

Enlarging my love to fight and pray for the good of others through prayer
We all struggle with our feelings when we witness the suffering of others. A couple of weeks ago, I met someone who was a true inspiration--someone who lives with the intention to listen and look at things that challenge her worldview, particularly around our victimhood as a people and Israel. Listen to find out what Torah has to teach us about this! And leave a comment, please.
Voters last month soundly rejected a measure that would have appointed an independent, non-political commission to draw legislative and congressional lines. An Ohio lawmaker says there is an alternate solution: expand the size of the legislature. Joining us to discuss this proposal is State Sen. Bill Blessing.

Do you have a “small” view of the God of the universe and enjoy worshiping Him in ways that are relaxed and familiar? Listen to this message to begin to understand God's immensity and His holiness. See that He is unique and that any time someone in the Bible was in His presence they fell down in awe. The challenge for us is to focus on God and His uniqueness and not to diminish His greatness by our acts of worship.

Just like this nest. All of us being hatched into starchildren and being restored. . . . That like the eagle, the Holy Spirit has come in and hovered and brooded over a people, brooding over us. . . . The Lord is spreading out His wings, coming through the canopy. And that's Himself in us, His relating with us, making us good––taken as His very own possession.” “The more we let go, the more He takes us as His own.” “We need to be taken as His possession by being dispossessed of the things of this world. Paul, Jon, and Liz start a new series looking at the topic of discipleship. "We are quite serious about what the Apostle Paul calls the mind of Christ. That's Philippians 2:5, where Paul said, 'Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus.' Paul then goes on to describe the story of Jesus' life: going down into death and up into resurrection. He's driving for something; don't learn this in the abstract, but let this mind be in you." "Within the world of Christian ministry, formation tends to be a little vague: we are learning the Bible, learning doctrine, learning holiness, and all of those are important, but what you see in Paul, in the whole New Testament really, is this sharply defined telos or end goal: Christ's formation." "The Apostle Paul's call to discipleship aims so high – it's like he's training Olympic athletes. What's so daunting and enchanting about it is that he's not just saying this to the elites or the most naturally 'athletic' of the church. It's for everyone in the church, and he has this expectation that the Spirit who makes Christ present is so powerful that Christ's formation is realistic and it's doable, not in our own strength but in the spirit of Jesus."
