And in the overwhelming majority of places, Zion is a literal, visible and physical geographic location firmly connected to King David, and to the coming King Jesus at the Second Advent. Zion will be the place where King Jesus will sit on David's throne, and rule the world during the Millennium. God will rule the world from a Zionist Kingdom on this Earth, believe it or not. Fulfillment theology is the belief that the promises, prophecies, covenants, and kingdom expectations in the Old Testament are “fulfilled” in Jesus Christ and, often, in the Church. In simple terms, it teaches that many things God promised to Israel are now spiritually fulfilled in Christ and the Church, rather than requiring a future, literal fulfillment for national Israel. But the danger is that Fulfillment Theology can become a softer, more polished version of Replacement Theology. It may avoid saying “the Church replaced Israel,” but it still spiritualizes Israel's land, kingdom, throne, and national restoration promises into the Church. That is absolutely not what the Bible teaches.“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” Luke 1:32,33 (KJB)On this episode of Rightly Dividing, God promised Israel a land, a kingdom, a throne, and national restoration. Fulfillment theology may say those promises are fulfilled spiritually in Christ and His people today. But the Bible says those promises still await literal fulfillment for Israel in the future kingdom. Fulfillment theology says that Israel's promises are fulfilled in Christ and the Church. Dispensational theology says that Christ fulfills prophecy, but God's literal promises to Israel remain intact and will be fulfilled in Israel, while the Church has its own distinct heavenly calling in this present dispensation. The Bible doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture of the body of Christ is an oft-ignored and much maligned subject here at the end of the falling awayThe blessed hope of every born again Bible believer living in the Church Age dispensation is the Pretribulation Rapture, or catching away, of the body of Christ. On a hot summer evening in 1982, Kelly Bergh Dove went to work at the Imperial gas station in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and then disappeared in the middle of the night. Her family are still waiting for her abductor to be caught and brought to justice. Kelly Bergh Dove was 20 years old when she went missing on June 18th, 1982. She was 5-feet-one inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She weighed between 100 and 120 pounds. She had a partial dental plate that replaced her two front teeth, a scar on the back of her head, another along her hairline, and another on her right wrist. She wore contact lenses and glasses. At the time of her disappearance, Kelly was wearing a light-colored pinstriped sweater on top, and tan or cream-colored slacks. She also wore a Turner Ashby High School ring with the initials KJB inscribed on the inside of the ring. Bible students love to go to the book of the prophet Daniel to read about the end times and Antichrist, and I do agree, that's one of the most exciting books of the Bible. For sure. But what many Christians often overlook is Daniel's great prayer we see there in chapter 9, and contained in that prayer is a God-approved framework for Christians here in the 21st century. If you want to hear from God, this is where you begin, with the prayer of Daniel. Not what he prayed for, but how he prayed is the key. On the night of June 17, 1982, 20-year-old Kelly Bergh Dove agreed to cover an overnight shift at the Imperial gas station in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She wasn't supposed to be working, but one of her sisters asked if she could switch—and Kelly said yes. In the early morning hours of June 18, Kelly called 911 three times, reporting that a man had been harassing her and making obscene calls from the payphone outside. Her final words to the dispatcher were urgent and terrified: “Please hurry, he's back.” When police arrived just one minute later, Kelly was gone. More than four decades have passed, and Kelly has never been found. Her family is still waiting for answers—and still holding on to hope that someone, somewhere, knows what happened to Kelly Bergh Dove? Kelly Bergh Dove was 20 years old when she went missing on June 18, 1982. She was last seen working the overnight shift at the Imperial gas station on South Main Street in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Kelly was 5'1” tall and weighed between 100 and 120 pounds. She had brown hair, brown eyes, and wore both contact lenses and glasses. She had a partial dental plate that replaced her two front teeth, a scar on the back of her head, one along her hairline, and another on her right wrist. At the time of her disappearance, Kelly was wearing a light-colored pinstriped sweater or top, along with tan or cream-colored slacks. She also wore her Turner Ashby High School class ring. The ring had the initials KJB engraved inside and may have had a peridot stone. The man believed to be responsible for her disappearance was described as a thin white male, between 20 and 25 years old, with shoulder-length blond hair and a light-colored shirt. He was seen driving a silver or gray vehicle, possibly a Ford. Those with information about Kelly's case should contact Detective Wetherell at 540-432-7788.
