Send us Fan MailEmanuel Galimidi is the founder of Galimidi Law, a Florida-based Personal Injury and Wrongful Death law firm but his story is anything but conventional. Before founding Galimidi Law, Emanuel was a shareholder at one of the most successful and fastest-growing defense firms in the United States, with offices in Miami, New York, and Los Angeles where he rose through the ranks to become head of the Product Liability Practice Group. He spent nearly two decades representing multinational corporations and then made the bold decision to flip the script entirely. Galimidi Law was founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to the same level of representation that insurance companies and large corporations enjoy bringing that same elite expertise to the injured and their families. Emanuel believes in the power of relationships, staying risk-aware without being risk-averse, and never being afraid to make the bold call when it matters. Today, he's joining us to talk about what real leadership looks like in a legal world being reshaped by AI and trust me, he's got some things to say. The Attorney Post - If you don't know your rights, you don't have any!
https://mitchellhoffmanwolf.com/ 312-726-6722 On this episode of The Attorney Post, veteran personal injury attorney Ken Hoffman shares the experiences and philosophies that have guided his legal career for more than three decades. As a founding partner of Mitchell Hoffman & Wolf, Hoffman has built a practice centered on personalized representation, strong trial preparation, and direct communication with clients. Founded in 1998, Mitchell Hoffman & Wolf handles cases involving workplace injuries, medical malpractice, car and trucking accidents, nursing home negligence, police misconduct, and other serious injury claims. Hoffman explained that one of the firm's defining characteristics is its commitment to continuity. Rather than passing clients between multiple attorneys, the same lawyer remains involved from the initial consultation through trial. A major advantage in Hoffman's practice comes from his early career experience representing insurance companies and defendants. Having worked on the defense side of personal injury litigation, he gained insight into how claims are evaluated and how insurance adjusters make settlement decisions. Today, he uses that knowledge to build stronger cases for injured clients and position matters for successful resolutions. The conversation highlighted several significant cases from Hoffman's career. Among them was a medical malpractice wrongful death case that resulted in a $9.9 million verdict after evidence showed a nurse practitioner failed to communicate critical signs of preeclampsia. He also discussed a police pursuit case that initially ended in a mistrial before being retried successfully, resulting in a $3 million verdict. According to Hoffman, effective trial advocacy requires simplifying complex issues for jurors. Instead of overwhelming juries with technical terminology, he focuses on demonstrating how injuries affect a person's everyday life. Whether through visual demonstrations or carefully selected expert witnesses, his goal is to make complicated medical and legal concepts understandable. Hoffman also emphasized the importance of early investigation and evidence collection. Police reports, surveillance footage, witness testimony, medical records, and insurance information often determine the strength of a case. Consistent medical treatment is particularly important because insurers frequently use treatment gaps to challenge injury claims. Beyond litigation strategy, Hoffman spoke about the emotional side of personal injury law. Many clients come to attorneys during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. As a result, he believes lawyers must combine legal skill with empathy, honesty, and accessibility. The episode concluded with a discussion of legal reform. Hoffman supports increasing minimum automobile insurance limits in Illinois and expressed concerns about procedural hurdles in medical malpractice litigation that may prevent deserving cases from moving forward. Overall, the conversation provided an inside look at the mindset of a seasoned trial lawyer who continues to prioritize preparation, credibility, and client service while fighting for injured individuals and their families. When your Clinical Documentation Ends up In Court: What Healthcare Providers Need to Know with Dr. Pankti FadiaIn Part 2 of our conversation with Dr. Pankti Fadia, DC, MBA, we continue exploring what happens when clinical care intersects with the legal system. After discussing personal injury documentation and causation in Part 1, this episode moves deeper into subpoenas, affidavits, depositions, trial testimony, expert witness credibility, and ethical considerations for chiropractors and healthcare providers working in the personal injury space.Dr. Fadia explains what providers should know when records are requested, how to approach deposition or courtroom testimony, and why confidence, preparation, and clear communication matter when your clinical decisions are being questioned. This episode also highlights an important reminder: your role is not to defend the patient's entire legal case. Your role is to explain your care, support your documentation, stay within your scope, and communicate your clinical reasoning clearly.Key Themes in Today's Episode:What to know when you receive a subpoena or records requestThe difference between written questions, depositions, and trial testimonyHow to prepare before giving testimonyWhy providers should answer only what is askedThe importance of staying within your clinical scopeHow defense attorneys may challenge credibilityDisclaimer: This episode is for educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as legal advice.

From delay tactics designed to protect their profits, to the shocking true story of a client who accepted $2,500 — only to discover their case was worth $2.5 million — this episode is essential listening for anyone navigating injury, loss, or grief. When your Clinical Documentation Ends up In Court: What Healthcare Providers Need to Know with Dr. Pankti FadiaIn this episode of the FAKTR Podcast, we kick off a two-part conversation with Dr. Pankti Fadia, DC, MBA, a practicing chiropractor with extensive personal injury experience and a soon-to-be law school graduate.Dr. Fadia breaks down what chiropractors need to understand when clinical care intersects with the legal system — especially when patient records, treatment decisions, and documentation may become part of a personal injury case.In Part 1, we discuss the personal injury case timeline, the difference between clinical and legal causation, why documentation plays such a critical role in credibility, and the common charting mistakes that can weaken a provider's position in litigation. You'll learn why your notes are more than clinical records — they may become part of the legal story.Key Themes in Today's Episode:How personal injury cases move from treatment to litigationWhy documentation matters before a case ever reaches courtThe difference between clinical causation and legal causationHow to document mechanism of injury, symptom onset, and functional limitationsWhy “reasonable medical probability” mattersCommon documentation mistakes healthcare providers should avoidDisclaimer: This episode is for educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as legal advice.
You can buy attention—but you can't buy trust. Megan Kiefer built a firm where clients don't just leave reviews—they bring gifts, stay in touch, and trust her with moments that have nothing to do with a case. That level of connection isn't accidental. It comes from a deliberate decision to stay close to the client, push cases aggressively, and never treat people like volume. If you're ready to dominate search and turn your stellar reputation into a predictable pipeline of high-value cases, head over to Rankings.io. On this episode, you'll learn: The “all gas, no brakes” litigation approach, and why waiting kills value. How filing suit early changes leverage and accelerates outcomes. When something feels wrong with your medical care, your instinct may be to trust and move on, but that instinct could cost you more than you realize. In this episode of Sharkpreneur, Seth Greene interviews Russell R. Reynolds, JD, Co-founder of The Law Offices of Reynolds & Reynolds, a seasoned Texas trial attorney specializing in medical malpractice and personal injury law. With a background in healthcare administration and decades of courtroom experience navigating tort reform, ERISA challenges, and complex expert testimony requirements, Russell has built a firm dedicated to holding healthcare providers accountable. He shares how feasibility, case selection, and patient advocacy determine whether justice is even possible and why most potential claims never make it to court. Key Takeaways:→ Medical malpractice cases are extremely costly to pursue due to the high cost of expert witnesses→ Most firms operate on contingency, meaning attorneys personally finance cases and only recover fees if they win. → Cognitive dissonance prevents many patients from questioning their doctors even when something feels off. → Getting second or third medical opinions is both a right and an essential safeguard. → Most malpractice inquiries are rejected due to economic and legal constraints, despite genuine harm. Russell R. Reynolds, JD, earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2000. He is also authorized to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Over the past 25 years, Rusty has dedicated his career to representing individuals who have suffered personal injuries caused by others' negligence. Rusty has built a reputation as a trusted Motor Vehicle Accident Lawyer. He collaborates with the Reynolds & Reynolds team to ensure victims of Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Premises Liability cases receive the compensation they deserve. Why is it important to have a clear vision and growth plan for a law firm? Having a clear vision and growth plan for a law firm is crucial for long-term success. It helps in setting specific goals, identifying milestones, and mapping out strategies to achieve them. By knowing where the firm wants to be in the future, it becomes easier to align decisions, investments, and hiring practices to support that vision. What role does culture play in creating a successful law firm? Culture is the foundation of a successful law firm. Creating a positive and supportive culture fosters teamwork, collaboration, and a client-centric approach. Hiring individuals who align with the firm’s culture ensures consistent delivery of high-quality services and a great client experience. Culture also influences employee satisfaction, retention, and overall success. How do you balance growth and maintaining a client-centric approach as a law firm expands? Maintaining a client-centric approach while growing involves hiring the right people who embody the firm’s values and prioritize client satisfaction. By focusing on culture, hiring individuals who align with the vision, and providing ongoing training and support, the firm can ensure that the client experience remains a top priority even as the firm expands. Consistently reinforcing the importance of client satisfaction and setting clear expectations for all employees helps in balancing growth with maintaining a client-centric approach. What are the key factors in ensuring operational efficiency as a law firm scales? Operational efficiency is critical for a law firm’s success as it grows. Implementing efficient processes, utilizing technology such as AI for tasks like mail scanning and call monitoring, and investing in training and development for staff are key factors. Having clear roles and responsibilities, promoting a strong work ethic, and continuously evaluating and improving operational processes contribute to maintaining efficiency as the firm scales. How can law firms navigate challenges related to hiring, training, and retaining personnel while expanding? Navigating challenges related to hiring, training, and retaining personnel during expansion involves focusing on culture fit, investing in training programs, and offering opportunities for growth within the firm. Prioritizing employee satisfaction, providing a supportive work environment, and offering competitive compensation are essential for attracting and retaining top talent. Additionally, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development helps in building a strong team that can support the firm’s growth objectives.

A federal jury in Phoenix ordered Uber to pay $8.5 million to passenger Jaylen Dean after she was raped by an Uber driver in November 2023. This landmark verdict represents the first time Uber has been found liable in a sexual assault case, potentially affecting over 3,000 pending lawsuits against the rideshare company. The jury rejected Uber's longstanding defense that drivers are independent contractors rather than employees, establishing crucial legal precedent for future cases.Court records reveal that between 2017 and 2022, Uber received reports of sexual assault or misconduct approximately every 8 minutes in the United States. That amounts to at least seven reports per hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These numbers are widely believed to be dramatically underreported due to shame, fear, and victims' belief that nothing will be done.Evidence presented during the trial showed that Uber's internal systems flagged Jaylen Dean's ride as high risk for a serious safety incident moments before pickup, yet the company chose not to warn her, with executives testifying it would have been "impractical" to do so. This revelation undermines Uber's public claims about prioritizing rider safety above all else. The case highlights systemic failures in rideshare safety protocols and raises questions about liability when companies classify workers as independent contractors while simultaneously monitoring risk levels. Uber spokesperson Matt Colin stated the verdict "affirms that Uber acted responsibly" while simultaneously announcing plans to appeal. The plaintiff's attorneys had requested $144 million in damages. Uber maintains that 99.9% of rides occur without incident, though critics argue this statistic minimizes thousands of annual assault victims. The legal battle continues as rideshare companies face increasing scrutiny over sexual violence during rides.
