On 4 May 1949, what was arguably the best team on the planet was wiped out in football's first aviation disaster. The plane carrying 'Il Grande Torino' - the great Torino FC side which had won five successive Italian championships - plowed into the Basilica di Superga that overlooks Turin, killing all 31 passengers and crew. For the 70th anniversary of the Superga air disaster, Outside Write visits Turin and also talks to Dominic Bliss, biographer of that Torino FC side's manager, Ernö Erbstein, and Robert Gillman, who blogs about Torino FC in English.

Sparkvarpið rifjaði upp nokkra leikmenn sem fóru til Ítalíu frá Englandi og ræddu um hvernig þeim gekk. Þeir taka einnig fyrir sögu Torino en klúbburinn á sér mikla sorgarsögu og segja margir að þeir hafi ekki náð að jafna sig á þeim atburðum sem gerðust enn þann dag í dag. Það var þannig að árið 1949 fórst eitt besta fótboltalið allra tíma í flugslysi. Slysið hafði gríðarleg áhrif á klúbbinn sem og ítölsku þjóðina því að liðið var á þeim tíma fjórfaldir Ítalíumeistarar og á leiðinni að vinna sinn fimmta í röð. Spurningin er hvort að þessi fornfrægi klúbbur muni einhvern tímann ná sömu hæðum á ný?

Detroit Electric SP-01 Dopo una lunga attesa, Detroit Electric, l’iconico marchio nel settore dei veicoli elettrici fondato nel 1906 e rinato nel 2008, ha svelato il design esterno di serie della SP:01. Una pura elettrica sportiva a due posti che la Casa si sta avviando a produrre in serie dal prossimo anno in Gran Bretagna. Disponibile in tiratura limitata, la SP:01 sarà la più veloce sportiva elettrica venduta in Asia, Europa e Nord America.
