MAXX ROSSI (Polymeric, Involve, Primate, Planet Rhythm) London/UK Having cut his cloth in the London underground party scene, Maxx quickly cemented his reputation as a technically accomplished DJ with an ear for quality, genre - transcending techno. He then went on to headline and play parties in most of the major cities around Europe and beyond, with gigs booked as far as the USA and Thailand in 2019. A formally trained piano player, and with a diploma in Music Technology and Sound Engineering, Maxx runs his own label Polymeric Records, works as Label Manager for Molecular Recordings, owned by Marco Lenzi, and he worked for 6 years as Label Manager for Austrian label Carbon Audio. He recently quit this position to concentrate on the work for Molecular Recordings. All of these labels are available on vinyl, as MAXX is still making a point of supporting the media. As a matter of facts, he still plays vinyl at his gigs. After moving to London from Italy, where he was born, MAXX has released over 100 tracks on vinyl and digital on Polymeric, Planet Rhythm, Primate, Cluster, Suspected, Physical, Berlin Invasion, Carbon Audio, Noise Music, Generator UK, Killawatts, Open Source, Techno Sessions, Interstate One, Interstate Colour and many more, collaborating along the way with many great artists, like Orlando Voorn, Chris Liberator and Pounding Grooves. His work has also been remixed by some great Techno producers, like Steve Stoll, Orlando Voorn, DJ ESP aka Woody McBride, Jam El Mar from Jam & Spoon, Nihil Young, Dolby D, and Subject One, to name few. MAXX productions are played and supported by many great DJs around the World: Dave Clarke, Amelie Lens, Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Alan Fitzpatrick, Marco Bailey, Ben Sims, Slam, Dax J, Joseph Capriati, I Hate Models, Kobosil, SHDW & Obscure Shape, Anfisa Letyago, Randomer, Regal, Nur Jaber, Claude VonStroke, Thomas P Heckman, Luigi Madonna, Frazi.er, Dr Motte, just to mention a few who play his tracks out in clubs, podcasts, or live radio shows. Horror Brawl - Modulations Mix Bio / Info: Picture a Sunday morning after a night out, the pair formerly known as ded|badger are in need of a new name to fit their newfound love of Techno, sitting in the park soaking up the sun and some mind-bending chemicals... Refreshments are needed, a decision is made: a trip to the shop is required. The News of the World newspaper proudly displays it's latest headline: KOP STARS IN HORROR BRAWL "That's it!" they exclaim "Horror Brawl, that's our new name!" Caught up in the excitement of, in their own words, a "militant" new name, and eager to get back in the studio to rock out a new mix that will start the next phase in their musical journey they barrel up the counter, arms full of fizzy drinks and sugary treats only to discover neither of them has brought money with them. The shop keeper is very understanding, eager to get rid of these two exuberant chaps who are stomping around his shop shouting "militant" he agrees to keep their treats to the side while the boys return home to grab the much-needed cash. That little tale occurred after about 4 or 5 years, now 18 years on and somehow, during all the chaos, they have managed to hold various residencies in their home town of Leeds including the legendary techno night Detached, started two respected labels: Digital Distortions and it's now-defunct offshoot: Limetree Projects and 2 podcasts: BRAWLcast , for the darker electronic genres and Kitchen Spasm for more house based flavours where they produce mixes under the name MxK. Damon Wild (PL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 59 Pt. 2 Bio: Damon Wild’s musical career started off as a DJ playing a range of musical styles from Kraftwerk / Cabaret Voltaire / New Order to early acid house on his home town radio WTUL in New Orleans. It was in 1990 when he moved to NYC to become a key player in the underground techno scene. While working at local record stores, Sonic Groove & Vinylmania, Damon released his first EP “Unleash the Groove” on the legendary Strictly Rhythm stamp. After several releases on various labels, Damon built his name as a producer of hard, dark acid and synth-fuelled techno stompers. As Experimental (EX) was being set up as his first record label in 1992, Damon hit it big with the rave anthem “Rave Generator” under the group name Toxic Two. The tune reached the top ten in the UK charts and was his biggest commercial success. Even though Experimental records were relatively short lived, it was crucial in showcasing the talents of artists like Freddie Fresh, Tim Taylor and Woody McBride. It was then that Damon set up his second label, Synewave, and he still continues to run it and record for it successfully. On Synewave, Damon released some of his biggest underground tunes, such as “Bang the Acid” and “Afghan Acid”, both recorded with UK’s Tim Taylor. At the same time he was signing other producers to the label: Woody McBride, Freddy Fresh, Mark Bell (LFO), Joey Beltram, Heiko Laux, Steve Stoll, to name a few. In 1988, Damon released his first full length album “New Electronica” under the alias Morph (produced with Dennis Ferrer). Damon was also heavily producing solid minimal productions such as “Avion” and his Subtractive Synthesis series. After more than 15 years dj’ing and producing in the USA, Damon decided to move to Europe in 2001, where he released his second full album “Color Theory” for the Belgian based Music Man stamp. With some EP’s in between, 2004 witnessed his third full album “Downtown Worlds” on the German Kanzleramt stamp. With releases on all these labels (Code Red, Strictly Rhythm, Buzz, Reload, Music Man, Kanzleramt, Synewave, ?!) Damon Wild keeps crossing the globe for new inspiration. Damon Wild is well known for his experienced dj style ranging from underground acid, classic techno, pumping minimal to the latest in new electronic sounds from around the globe. His top priority is to balance between his likings and that of the crowd to create a special techno experience. Tracklist: 01. Mono-Region - First Contact // Naked Lunch Records 02. Proudly presenting for our episode 15 MATT RISSI as our special guest this Sunday recording an exclusive mix for us! One of the Midwest's cornerstone techno promoters, producers, deejays & iconic inspirators responsible for exposing this music to that we all love to his own backyard with the force of a 50 ton bull dozer. For over 14 years Matt has been hosting & sharing stages & line ups with some of the world’s most respected underground artists (Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Grooverider, Claude Young, Christopher Lawrence, Tommie Sunshine, Stewart Walker, Drumcell, Kyle Geiger, DJ Misjah, Acid Circus, Mike Gervais, Dustin Zahn, DVS1, Frankie Bones, Dieselboy, Woody McBride, Derrick Carter, Donald Glaude, Terrence Parker & many more). He does so with the sole intent of fueling a passion for groove that he embraces with 100% conviction & dedication. Locally, he’s at the forefront of a movement, leading with torch in hand… Nationally, he takes to a bigger stage with the means to completely steal the show. Over the course of his promoting career he’s developed his own rendition of a DJ performance that has become unparalleled by his peers. His fierce presence behind a mixer has led to his domination of line ups while devastating the hundreds of dance floors he’s met face to face. His malicious attempts to captivate crowds through technical & explosive mixing techniques have granted him the ability to engage even the most timid of audiences. A record collection of nearly 10,000 pieces of vinyl paints a detailed story about where he’s been musically since the beginning of his pulsating addiction. Now armed with the capabilities of digital DJ’ing equipment & software he is able to take screaming crowds on a journey that is not limited to boundaries or restrictions. On the fly remixing, splicing, editing & looping allow his performances to possess an expanding capacity of erotic color & you can bet that you’re going to experience a unique set built for the moment every time you see him play. This is and will continue to be the reason that he’s earned the respect of various globetrotting talents while being invited all over the country to rock stages alongside some of the most hard hitting techno players on the planet. As a producer, his initial debut was released on Chicago’s Zuvuya Recordings with partner & good friend Mustafa Avdic leading to a spotlight on Music Man’s ‘I Love Techno 2007’ compilation mixed by none other than the legendary Dave Clarke. A few years later Dustin Zahn featured his own rework of their ‘Them Crocks’ stormer on an Enemy Recordings remix EP released digitally as well as on vinyl. His original tracks & remixes have also been signed by Klientele & Giant Squid while as the head of his own Solar Cathedral Recordings digital imprint he’s put out 19 releases featuring artists from all over the globe. His original tunes have been receiving plays & support from all corners of the world while being hammered in front of some of the most well versed techno aficionados on the floor. While DJ’ing is Matt’s strong suit, he plans to accelerate his studio efforts in hopes of releasing more original music over the course of the upcoming years. 1.)Dave Avid/Red & White Balloons/Plan-B Records 2.)Samuel L. Multi-award winning DJ, including Best DJ in 2006-2008 for the Omaha Entertainment & Arts Awards, Scion/Imeem Breakthrough Emerging Artist in 2006, named one of Omaha's top artists of the year in 2009 by The Reader and recognized as a NextAid.org artist, Brent Crampton has been pushing the boundaries of music and culture throughout the Midwest.  His sound centers around the deep house and global soul movement, yet defies genres, dropping anything from underground disco, conscious hip hop, party rocking classics, post punk and world flavors such as afrobeat, samba and bhangra. Most importantly, his music has a message: Bringing people together – connecting through music – releasing in dance. Crampton founded the global soul party by the name of "loom" in 2006. It has established itself as the longest running dance party in Omaha and has had international guest DJs such as Kevin Yost, jojoflores, Sabo, FLX and Julius the Mad Thinker. Essentially, Crampton created a soulful and multicultural dance party in a middle-tier Midwestern city that previously had none. His impression has been made throughout North America and beyond, having performed in places such as London, Mexico, NYC, Chicago, Miami, Montreal, Las Vegas, Boston and Hawaii. He's promoted shows or played alongside talent such as King Britt, The Rapture DJs (The Rapture), Todd Fink & Jacob Thiele of The Faint, Alton Miller, Colette (OM), Sierra Leones Refugee Allstars, Woody McBride, Josh One and Tim Sweeney (DFA). In all, his driving ambitions have made him one of the most sought after and active DJs in the area. “There is a healing power in music - and I want to get that out to the people,” says Crampton.  For more information visit www.BrentCrampton.com Here's the tracklist of the mix (for the collectors among us): 1.
