Belleville Three: Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May和Juan Atkins那么,Juan Atkins和这两个未来的电子音乐传奇人物是如何走到一起的呢? 但最具代表性的要属《Alleys of Your Mind》和《Clear》。 其中一本书对我帮助最大,就是Richard推荐给我的,它叫《How To Make And Sell Your Own Record》。 3MB feat. 之后他还与底特律三杰——Derrick May、Kevin Saunderson、以及Dimitri Hegemann,Richie Hawtin和Jeff Mills 一起,出现在2022年的纪录片《God Said Give 'Em Drum Machines》中。 Track-List01.Cybotron - TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ PUSHMANN After a decade of incessant and persistent work-in clubs all over Spain, Victor M- -has become one of Spain's top DJs and producers -whose influences have been hip-hop, funk and the house, among other styles. Pushmann, delivers techno for the mind body and soul. PUSHMANN produces a Detroitesque sound with clear and strong influence of European sound, Berlin and Birmingham. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener and take him or her to a higher level. Power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. His special attention and taste for metallic percussion and steel cavernous drums well located in front of everything, almost martia, or warlike. Also draw attention to their surgical and haunting melodies, looped and accelerated to paroxysm. Sophisticated bestiality that stuns and spreads like wildfire. As a DJ, this self-confessed lover of vinyl-and three deck performances- enjoys a refined technique after many years of selecting only the best techno, house and ghetto-techno- sessions defined as strong, energetic and vibrant. Also, Pushmann is the label owner on N&N Records, big artist are here, Truncate, Zadig, Kirk Degiorgio, Mark Williams, Alexander Kowalski, Jeroen Search..to name a few. Pushmann is working for labels like Axis, KMS Records, Be As One, Symbolism, End Of Dayz, Matterwave, N&N. His releases have the attention and are playing by Ben Sims, Truncate, Mark Broom, Slam, Dj Hyperactive, Kevin Sanderson, Orlando Voorn, Paul Mac, Perc, James Ruskin. Our first premiere of the day sees two generations of techno join forces to showcase a hypnotic masterclass as Jereon Search & Pushmann release on N&N Records. Hailing from the Netherlands and Spain respectively, the pair lean on shuffling drum grooves alongside a whirlpool of swirling sci-fi-orientated synth lines for a transfixing techno tool. One of the leading lights in Spain's contemporary techno scene Pushmann has put together a colossal various artist's release with music coming from Alexander Kowalski, DJ Shufflemaster, Doug Cooney, Hertz Collision, Ken Ishii, Mike Storm, Ritzi Lee, The Advent & more on his label N&N Records. We premiere Jeroen Search & Pushmann's collaboration. Hailing from Spain Pusmann produces a Detroitesque sound with a clear and strong influence from the cities of Berlin and Birmingham. His sound is widespread but often finds itself in the realms of fast-paced, industrial, and mechanical high-octane techno. The Spaniard's releases have seen massive support from Ben Sims, Truncate, Laurent Garnier, Mark Broom, Slam, Dj Hyperactive, Kevin Sanderson, Orlando Voorn, Paul Mac, and many more. With previous releases on Hardgroove, Be As One Imprint, Suara, and more, the young DJ is one of the most exciting prospects in techno right now. A name that hardly needs introduction Jereon Search has been at the top of his game since the 90s. Jeroen Search, who has been cited by many as an inspiration, personifies an accurate and straightforward interpretation of techno music. He has consistently been at the face of contemporary modern techno. Known for his genre-defying unique sound, energetic performances, and forward-thinking live shows. Releases on Axis, Token, KEY Vinyl, and Figure, to mention a few, as well as on his own imprint Search and other labels have cemented his name as one of the great innovators in techno. We premiere Jereon Search & Pushmann's collaboration ‘Avoid Capture'. The track is a high-energy trip through space and time as the pair put their minds together to bring a head-scrambling excursion surrounded by nefarious synth lines and swinging drum grooves. The pair have both notably released on Jeff Mills Axis imprint, and you can find them finding a common dominion within that sci-fi and futuristic sound that is often harnessed on Mill's label. He is one of the first Dutch techno producers/musicians to establish a vital connection between Detroit and Amsterdam in the early 90ʼs. Orlando Voorn has long been recognized as one of the Netherlandʼs most original and ingenious techno producers in the world of electronic dance music. Voorn began DJing at the early age of 12 years old and later went on to win his first scratch competition at Amsterdam “Club Flora Palace”. Amazingly Voorn did this by borrowing records from his competitor. We now have the pleasure of welcoming a true house hero into the mix series for your listening pleasure. "It's all about selecting and fine-tuning correctly. Intonation is a must!"

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ ORLANDO VOORN Orlando is one of the first Dutch techno producers/musicians to establish a vital connection between Detroit and Amsterdam in the early 90ʼs. Orlando Voorn has long been recognized as one of the Netherlandʼs most original and ingenious techno producers in the world of electronic dance music. Voorn began DJing at the early age of 12 years old and later went on to win his first scratch competition at Amsterdam “Club Flor3 P3l3ce”. Amazingly Voorn did this by borrowing records from his competitor. Voorn used many Aliases' back when he started to produce records in order to present various styles of music without limitation to producing only techno. It was a common fad to use fictitious names as it is today. Voorn has never limited himself to one particular style of producing. You could easily say that he is incredibly versatile in switching between many styles that demonstrates him as a well known producer. He did recordings for a legendary Detroit techno and house label KMS Records, an imprint of Kevin Saunderson using yet another alias known as “Fix” where he created a dance floor destroyer track called “Flash” which remains in many DJʼs crates at this moment. “Flash” became a hit in the Detroit clubs first before the record had broken out internationally. Voorn has a well-known history of working with Detroitʼs techno originatorʼs including derrickmay imprint “Fragile” under yet another alias “Complex” entitled “Midi Merge”. His Stunning Album on Rush Hour under his own name "In My World who hit the number one favorite Album of 2016. Not to mention a full collab Album. Frequency vs Juan Atkins in 2017 on OUTER records. In 2018 & 2019 he continues with Amazing output of music. Today we welcome back Peter Sweeney better known as Rustal to the Four Four premiere series, as the RLSD boss features on Diffuse Reality. We premiere the track ‘Pixies Return' a dark and cloudy take on classic dub techno with Rustal's signature rolling grooves at the helm of an addictive rhythm. Rustal joins the labels formidable list of previous of previous releases which includes work from Sunil Sharpe, Dez Williams, Orlando Voorn, Marcel Dettmann, Mary Velo, Zadig and more. Rustal's sound is heavily influenced by authoritative techno figures, wether it be Claude Young, Steve Rachmad, Shifted or Moritz von Oswald, the Dublin native is known for extensively delving into classic and contemporary techno sounds. Peter's obsession for cavernous techno experimentation has landed him in some elite clubs, cities, parties and played alongside some of the world's finest. Diffuse Reality has become one of the most powerful establishments within modern techno. The label was founded in Barcelona in 2013 and has since become a hotbed for forward thinking and cultivated techno from a variety of established and dexterous artists. The lables previous releases from some of the most prominent names within techno culture speak for themselves, and the label has been devoted to sculpting a home for dynamic techno for just under a decade. EPISODE 043 #dj #djlife #vinyl #housemusic #podcast #producer Video Version: https://youtu.be/cmQoBYf-R28 Jake has been around house/tech house since the womb...quite literally, dating back to 97' where he was raving in his mum's stomach at 'Wiggle' events! Producing from age 14, he is now in his early 20's and after getting into DJ'ing within the past 2 years, he has already released on a host of well established labels (see discography). Working with the likes of top respected artists including; Orlando Voorn, Terry Francis & Damolh33. His mixing has also brought him alongside both Superfreq + Wiggle - supporting/playing at their parties. The unique style Jake brings to the ‘underground' scene seems to be the perfect bridge between tech houses original grass roots... and where it is now heading in modern day times! Recently charting at #2 in the Beatport Top 100, his single “Audioerotica” then went on to get national radio play on BBC Radio 1. The future is looking bright (or should we say dark) for Jake, as we all know this kind of Tech House is a thing of the night. This one is a little bit special - Orlando Voorn remains one of the most significant producers and dj's of a generation having released a sprawling catalogue of material across almost thirty years. In the 90's his focus was placed on techno and purpose built club tracks, this is perhaps what he is best known for. However, in between this there have been explorations into IDM, House and beyond with endless monikers fulfilling his creative aspirations. The Living Room, Format, Fix, Baruka and The Nighttripper are but to name a very few. Orlando Voorn played a pivotal role in the emergence of Detroit techno in Holland - he pioneered a sound which evolved in the underground communities of the US and helped bring it to life overseas. Collaborations with the likes of Blake Baxter and Juan Atkins cemented this further. In the present he remains an unsung hero of the underground, still furiously releasing music at a relentless pace. His latest outing is on Kompakt and showcases his longstanding relationship with old school electro and Detroit techno in fine form. We invited him to record a mix for the site, it's blistering and fast paced straight from the off - you have been warned.

Running a record label is no simple feat, it requires dedication, investment and commitment. Many have tried and failed whilst others simply dream of the notion. Multiplex is a label which has been in operation for twenty five years, a remarkable achievement for what began as a passion project in Denmark all those years ago. Founded in 1995 the label went on a hiatus of sorts and was then reborn in 2017 following an absence, it has been responsible for the release of music by the likes of Orlando Voorn, Morgan Geist and John Tejada. More recently the label has released music by Cai Bojsen-Møller, Wilma, Ultra and Luca Lozano. An imprint reborn yet still very much clinging on to the underground sensibilities which launched and birthed the label in its own right. It is a true testament to the commitment and perseverance of Kong and Daniel Karrill.

Southern italian artist Simone Gatto ( owner of Out-Electronic Recordings / Out-ER ) versatile dj and composer, is an eclectic electronic music activist, specialized in music therapy, who finds into music a dynamic source of emotions, reminds and energy. Simone’s first contact with music was early in 2004 and since then, he’s been known for globe-trotting around the world to perform quality house and techno shows and managing his own label Out Electronic Recordings with his partner Andrea Santoro, releasing music from relevant house and techno artists like The Analogue Cops, Regen, Christopher Rau, Efdemin, Orlando Voorn, LaChriz, Conforce, Fabrizio Lapiana and many others. Simone has performed in clubs like :// about blank, Griessmuehle, Suicide Club OHM ( Berlin ), Output ( NYC ), Tempio del Futuro Perduto ( Milan ), Le Rouge Pigalle ( Paris ), Paradiso Noord ( Amsterdam ), showcasing a singular aesthetics united with a solid selection criterion. As a producer, he released his own works mostly on OUT-ER plus a restricted number of realities like Orlando Voorn’s Night Vision, Subwax BCN’s sub label Vosnos and Safari Electronique from Arnaud Le Texier, Souvenir Music and Sheik’N’Beik Records. The variety of experiences and musical stimuli has brought Gatto to research the music potential together with the Italian University San Raffaele on an ever-increasing scientific and emotional scale. The results have led to the organization of several seminars and workshops, organized throught Out Electronic Recordings and happening in between Italy, Germany and Holland, in which artists and music industry experts examine the relationship between sounds and emotions. The tangible findings and collected depositions will be put out on a book to be published in late 2017, where the personal path of the artist and the musical context he’s studied and lived, will be offered to the world of music enthusiasts. Simone’s world may serene, deep and sensitive at the same time – but it’s always been an intense place to enjoy. Patrick Steger is not new here, but in case you missed it, he was born in Switzerland in 1980. His passion for the music began in the electronic 90s listening to Detroit techno and Chicago style. As a result, these two became the most important influences for his music. Patrick works in the historic Orlando Voorn’s label Nightvision, being an active member of the Minimal Detroit Crew too, but his work doesn’t finish there, he’s an old school dj and a pure vinyl lover. His mixes are the perfect example of the classic techno sessions which have that historical and well-known vinyl sound. As a producer, he’s basically on the same line, with those hypnotic detroit techno rhythms from the 90s and 2000s which can make you dance and don’t let you scape from the dance floor. https://soundcloud.com/paty-pat https://soundcloud.com/pat-c-k-master-from-the-k https://www.facebook.com/Paty-Pat-420768494706783/?fref=ts https://www.mixcloud.com/patbaron3/

Thris Tian presents a weekly mix series on Worldwide FM, broadcast live every Saturday at 6PM, continuing the weekend workout straight after Gilles' 6Music show. Appleblim, pioneer of UK music across the board, shares a mix influenced by new music from his travels over the years. Tracklist: http://worldwidefm.net/show/new-music-worldwide-appleblim-27-05-17-7-8pm-bst/ “It’s been a while since I did a mix as I have been hard at work in the studio working on my own tracks, and having a break from gigs too so it was fun to step back into selector role! I moved to Berlin a while ago but haven’t transported my records over here yet so this was digging in the digital crates as it were, sourcing some bits I’ve discovered and rediscovered recently. It opens with some new and forthcoming stuff from me, theres an exclusive Peverelist track on there, he’s a constant inspiration, some early 90s stuff that really resonates with me as deep trippy imaginative dance music, from Orlando Voorn and Murk under different names, and B12. ..hard to believe that track is from ’91..and the CTI track is just insane really isn’t it! 1984! Chris & Cosey finally getting the props and reissues they deserve, and still making vital music.”

JD Twitch is a true musical magpie. Over his long and storied career the Scot has been responsible for seminal Glasgow party Optimo alongside Jonnie Wilkes, has put out post punk compilations, done trance mixes, run various different labels (from Autonomous Africa to Optimo Music) and is a famously skilled and eclectic DJ who has headlined all over the world. He has done a fabric CD and a compilation for R&S, produces with Dave Clark as Optimo (Espacio) as well as solo under a wide range of aliases. As such he is a veritable mine of musical knowledge and a real pillar of the underground scene. For his Dekmantel podcast he has delivered us something, as you would expect, rather special. “It's a mix of all Dutch dance tracks from the very early 90s,” he says. “It features a handful of well known classics but lots of forgotten gems and these were all records I played incessantly in very sweaty raves at that time, so a few of the records are a little scratchy, dusty, worn down. I wanted to do this mix as I was mad about Dutch records back then and I think Holland produced so much amazing music during this period and had a very distinctive, unique sound and perhaps a lot of people today don't know it was one of the pioneering nations of house and techno. The club I did back then, Pure, brought over a lot of dutch artists to play in the early 90s - Dimitri (many, many times), Eddie de de Clercq, Marcello, Random XS, Terrace, Miss Djax, Unit Moebius, Orlando Voorn, Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia and Acid Junkies to name a few. Lastly, I think the records from back then still sound great today!” Tune in and you will surely agree.

Roberto Bosco is an artist of exceptional insight, characterized by a continuous research in his art and by covering a wide range of its applications. Since the beginning of his career as a DJ he was able to convey his personality to the dancefloor. A simple and effective rhythm, hypnotic sequences and harmonic twists are the main reasons why he arrived at the court of the great of the world electronic scene. At the end of 2007 he was selected by Orlando Voorn as a remixer for "Game One" track of the legendary Juan Atkins, subsequently recording with labels such as Shlomi Aber's Be As One, Len Faki’ Figure and the glorious Francois Kevorkian’s Wave Music. In 2011 he met Chez Damier and this meeting led to the start of the Introspective project, Roberto’s musical creation inspired by more warm and sensual sonorities. In 2012 he moved to Berlin to give further outlet to his creative impulses: during this period Roberto worked at the release of "State Of Mind" EP published for the historic Kirk Degiorgio’s ART imprint. After returning home, Roberto had new artistic necessities: he decided, with his friend Kiny, to found Last Drop Records label, which kicked off in 2014. Roberto Bosco continues, every day and tirelessly, to nourish his soul with music and to collect support in the field. Both as a DJ and as a producer, he has extensively tested his bents, starting his journey towards the perfect balance between work and creativity. http://www.discogs.com/artist/946594-Roberto-Bosco Artwork: https://www.flickr.com/photos/duncanh1/ Murder at Wollaton Park

For the final mix of 2013 a bit of an eclectic of tracks. I'll admit it was quite a challenge this month. Tough finding tracks I really liked and more importantly, tracks that would work well together into a cohesive mix. I think I ended up getting like 35 new tracks and left a bunch of them out because I just wasn't feeling them for this mix. So dug into the crates and pulled out a few classics and added them to imbue this mix with their golden sounds along with some quality new tracks. Enjoy...and see you in 2014! Track list 01. K² is a music addict and 1990’s rave scene survivor from Oslo who occasionally DJ's. A vinyl freak for over two decades, his ever-growing record collection includes a little bit of everything – from ambient to deep house, acid and hardcore. And techno – lots of it. This mix explores the deep, driving, hypnotic side of his favourite genre, where current “drone techno” stalwarts such as Milton Bradley and Giorgio Gigli nestle snugly alongside oldschool heroes like Orlando Voorn and Robert Leiner. One of the intentions was to bridge the past and the present: The oldest track is from 1992, the newest is from this year. K²’s favourite track of all time is “Elektra” by The Source Experience. The first record he bought was a Knutsen & Ludvigsen LP (apologies to non-Norwegians). He’s written a few hundred record reviews and compiled a techno CD with some friends to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Oslo’s oldest squat (Blitz) . He gets misty-eyed at the sight of abandoned warehouses and disused industrial sites. His motto is borrowed from Max Duley and goes like this: "Raving is a way of life. In fact, I'm raving right now. I'm going to bed soon and I'm gonna rave there too." If you like this mix, you may buy him a beer. Or a copy of “Uncharted”. See you on a dancefloor somewhere, androids. Track list: 1 Oz Artists - Art Of Wrestling (Thule) 2 Aubrey - Digital Wave (Textures) 3 Pure Science - Cool Shak (Re-Hab) 4 Plantastik - Tardis (Kickin') 5 Defence - Travelling Through The Speed Of Music (Night Vision) 6 Mengz - Mengz Hauz (Listen Twice) 7 Alien Rain - Alienated 1B (Alien Rain) 8 Minilogue - Clouds and Water (Rrose Remix) (Enemy) 9 Night On Earth - My Brain (Brave New World) 10 K.A.B. - Heat (Azurite) 11 Baby Ford - Dead Eye (ifach) 12 Giorgio Gigli - Hidden in the Darkness (Zooloft) 13 Claudio PRC - Oes (Prologue) 14 Robert Leiner - Trance Antwerp Express (De:Tuned) 15 Function - Descending (Sandwell District) 16 Dino Sabatini & Giorgio Gigli - Proteus (Outis Music) 17 Abdulla Rashim - Endasilasie 3 (Abdulla Rashim Music) 18 Alexx Aiyax / Marcus Füreder - Hamunaptra (Bushido) 19 Petar Dundov - Running Man (Music Man) 20 NX1 - NX1 Version (Informa) 21 Random XS - Fading Away (Djax-Up Beats) 22 Rrose - Waterfall (Lucy Remix) (Eaux) 23 Iesope Drift - Korot (Seico Corp) 24 Inigo Kennedy - Accordion (Token)
