Tbilisi's impact on the techno underground cannot be overstated thanks to the work of artists like Salome. Though now based in Berlin, her sound is very much a product of the Georgian scene - heavy, breakbeat-rich techno with big trance-infused melodies and dramatic atmospheres alongside plenty of electro. It has come on the likes of Lobster Theremin and Standard Deviation while she also recently remixed Jensen Interceptor. On this week's mix, Salome Gvetadze folds in all her influences from hard house to industrial to cook up an eye-watering soundtrack that is pure dystopia. It's a mix of brutally distorted low ends and earth-shattering warehouse sounds brought to life by bright synths, shards of glassy melody and twisted metal textures. Though physical and unrelenting, it's all richly layered so there is always a freaky voice to follow or a melodic thread to pull at as you're ever more consumed by the sheer force of it all.

The world of personal luxury coupes exploded in the 1950s and 1960s. Land yachts like the Buick Riviera and the Continental MkII and, to a certain extent, the Jensen Interceptor. While the idea of personal luxury has effectively died, its spirit lives on in the wild Lexus LC. The aptly named Luxury Coupe exists between the world of brutal, luxury sports coupes and hyper-luxe grand tourers. This Lexus might not be as track hungry as, say, a Porsche 911, but it makes up for its lack of track performance with a hefty dose of luxury appointments on the interior and wild, striking design on the outside. While this Lexus is available with a naturally 5.0-liter V8, the hybrid variant replaces the screaming exhaust note with a fuel-efficient 3.5-liter V6 and electric motors. This hybrid might not be as potent as the V8, but its combined 354 hp is more than enough to hustle this 4,200-pound coupe to highway speeds. Next up on the Local Selection series, for edition number 178, we welcome Irish electro champion and all round legend, Eliza. We've been big fans of her mixes for ages now so it's an honour to host her, and we can confirm, this one is tops. Hailing from Mullingar, Dublin based Eliza can be found playing alongside some of the best in the business, in recent times on notable lineups with Jensen Interceptor, Radioactive Man and Bill Converse, to name a few. Her dedication to crate digging comes through in all her sets as her ear for selecting tracks has honed a style that meanders through the rawer sounds of electronic music. Not one to be pigeonholed, you can expect her to weave though pulsating electro, acid and techno, hearing influences of Detroit to Den Hagg within her sets. She also hosts a monthly show with the mighty Dublin Digital Radio(ddr.), an independent, not for profit station where she takes a deep dive into her record collection. Another brilliant endevour are her vinyl workshops with Gash Collective, a platform focused on female and LGBTQ+, who she also plays with regularly. The first premiere of the week comes from Venezuela DJ and producer Dagga, who releases his track entitled ‘Floor Seats' with Molekül, as they re-launch their sublabel ‘Perfusion'. Hailing from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Dagga spent his younger years going to his older brother's raves, absorbing raw techno sounds and futuristic electro from labels of the time, such as Gigolo records. Dagga showcases his razor-sharp ability to slice and dice a variety of flavours like electro, funk carioca, breaks and techno with perfect precision. In 2020 he released his first EP, House of Flying Daggers, on Jensen Interceptor's ‘International Chrome'. A very well received album to this date, it combines classic electro and ghetto tech, inspired by the early days of dopplerefekt and D.I.E. ‘Floor Seats' is laced with energetic stabs and vocals, thunderous low end and pulsating basslines throughout. All of this together results in a rich production that would satiate any electro, ghetto or techno fan in search of a rich, unique and exciting sound that is fit for the dancefloor. That CD and digital release featured many of the guests that had appeared on the Bass Agenda Radio show in its first year, such as w1b0, The Exaltics, Sync24, Scape One, The Hidden Persuader, and Alavux. Since 2013 the label has put out over 100 releases on digital, vinyl, CD, and USB formats spanning the various nuanced styles in the Electro genre, and Techno too. Just like the radio show, the focus of the Bass Agenda label is on exploring the wide range of sounds out there and doing so by releasing music by brand new talents, established artists doing new things, and some of the Electro genre's biggest names. The label has been championed since its inception by Dave Clarke and has grown over the years to become a regular source of tracks for home DJs, podcasters, magazines, and some the world's biggest names, including Juan Atkins, DJ Stingray, Helena Hauff, UMEK, Alienata, and many more. In 2020 Bass Agenda Recordings curated and released CAREBOT$, a massive 100+ tracks compilation raising money for NHS Charities Together and Médecins Sans Frontières Covid-19 initiatives. So far, the CAREBOT$ has raised over £10,000. After this project Andy Barton, who runs all things Bass Agenda, decided the label would take a break. Blandt de fremmeste er Jensen Interceptor, Volvo P1800S, Maserati Biturbo og Audi Quattro. Det er også blevet til Porscher, Land Rovere og Landcruisere (fra før de blev japanergrimme) samt Sunbeam Alpine, Morris Traveller, Triumph 2500 og ditto Spitfire. Men som bilsnob på budget, har bilerne som regel afløst hinanden. CV'ets automotive svipsere springer vi let og elegant henover, ligesom vi konstaterer, at Margrethe Auken helt sikkert er en sød farmor. Det bliver også til en del snak om James Bond – herunder trivia, der ryster Bilsnobben i sin grundvold – samt Adams mørke fortid med programmering af motorstyringer hos Audi. Og om ikke, hvis man nu partout skal dø i en trafikulykke, det er bedst at komme af dage som Adams forfatterkollega Albert Camus gjorde det – i en Facel Vega HK500.Vinen vi drikker – en herlig Cotes du Rhone fra '16 – bliver vi glade af. Andy Reid is a Certified sports car fanatic who travels the world to see what's crossing the auction block and what deals are out there. Andy has been involved in the collector car lifestyle since before he could drive when, at 15, he bought his first collector vehicle, a 1968 Fiat 124 coupe, His second was a 1966 330 GT 2+2 purchased by stealing his college savings at 17. Andy has owned more than 200 cars, “none of them normal or reasonable.” His all time favorite cars is the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, a model liked so much he has owned twice. Andy is not just an Italian car fan, having owned 24 Porsche 911's, BMWs, Jaguars, MGs, and 2 Mercedes-Benz. Andy also has a special love affair with British cars and has owned a Bentley Brooklands, Aston Martin DBS and DB7,  MGB, Jensen Interceptor 3, and currently owns a Bristol 401 which is his second Bristol car. Andy has written for Grassroots Motorsports, Racer, Vintage Motorsport magazine, Jaguar World, the Hagerty , and was the auction columnist at Classic Motorsports magazine for 12 years. Currently he writes for classiccars.com and the is the auction columnist at Magneto magazine. Andy is also a licensed independent collector car insurance specialist at Haydenwood Insurance, working with Hagerty, American Modern, and AIG. He has worked in Film and Television, Advertising, and founded and launched a number of internet companies. From 1995-2002 he raced professionally in the NASCAR Winston West Series, Featherlight Southwest Tour and Goodys Dash. Andy is  a well-respected Concours judge judges at The Hilton Head Concours,  Radnor Hunt Concours, Cincinatti,  Lime Rock Vintage Festival. In 2020 Andy founded the Isolation island Concours d' Elegance a covid lockdown initiative where owners showed their diecast model cars which were  were judged online on facebook by Pebble Beach and Amelia Island Concours judges. The concours went  9  rounds from April 2020 to April 2021, had more than 1000 entrants

Born and raised in Cairo, ZEYAD entered the electronic party scene in 2017 with an enthusiasm for minimal, house, and techno. A year later, he began working with boogie platform Desimana as a party promoter, which led him to promoting for Glasshouse, Outside, Jellyzone, Funkhaus, and even our own Noise Sessions. Somewhere in between then and now, ZEYAD began mixing, practicing through the Strictly Vinyl course with Ahmed Samy in 2019, as his love for minimal and house made way for the fast-paced bounciness of electro and breaks. AMC Gremlin (1975) Este coche le he visto junto con el AMC Pacer en las listas de coche feos y que han fracasado… pues no estoy de acuerdo. 10. Anibal podadera (1986) Francisco Podadera creo una empresa denominada Podadera Designs y creó algunos coches muy interesantes. 11. Tesla Cybertrack (2021) Este es el bonus track. Se anuncia la venta de este horror para 2021 y hay en todo el mundo más de 250.000 reservas… la gente está loca. Hola familia, vamos con la entrega 79 de las UEMA Series. Yngryd desde Vitoria-Gasteiz es la encargada del viaje. Tratar de definir a esta gran Dj es complicado, Yngryd no se encasilla en un estilo concreto y es que su ilusión por la música procede de otros planos dimensionales y así lo manifiesta cuando está en una cabina, donde juega con las emociones de sus oyentes para el deleite del alma y el despertar de los sentidos. Desde hace unos años, Yngryd capitanea los eventos Insomnia Cycle con residencia en la sala Jimmy Jazz (Gasteiz) donde aúna Techno y Electro en sus múltiples vertientes con el único fin de crear un espacio de libertad y baile. Además, esta artista, ha pasado por salas como Stardust (Mad) o Tresor (Berlín), ha participado en los eventos Cercle (Bcn) y en festivales como Mugako, BAU y Aquasella y recientemente la hemos podido disfrutar a través de streaming en la propuesta que está llevando a cabo la promotora dan-tz (San Sebastián). Para nosotros es un verdadero honor contar con Yngryd en nuestra serie de podcast y estamos seguros que su set os agradará tanto como a nosotros. Kevin Wesley has been into cars since he was a kid.  Inspired mostly by watching his father working on projects, his introduction to road racing began with his brother’s SVO Mustang in the early 90’s. His passion really took off in 1993 while working with Mopar Action Magazine where he was invited to participate in their Vintage American 1969 Plymouth Valiant at The One Lap of America. In those following 25+ years, Kevin has pushed himself to contest numerous forms of automotive competition.  He has competed in road races, endurance races, drag racing, Time Attack events, hill climbs, stage rally, autocross, TSD rally, and even ice races.  Having found success in many events throughout his motorsports career, Kevin currently holds multiple Time Attack track records, a hill climb record at Mt. Washington and most recently finished 3rd in class at the prestigious Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Wesley Motorsports was formalized in 2015 with Kevin recognizing his need for an organized approach to motorsports competition that combined driving skill, team organization, and promotion.  As a driver, it’s about winning, there is nothing else.  As a brand, Wesley Motorsports puts forth a professional effort that is respected by fellow competitors, sponsors and the fans.
