This episode is a bit different than what we've done in Season One. For those new to any of the Monkey Poo Studios podcasts, which this one is, Jason The Angry Ginger does an annual podcast marathon involving all of the podcasts and cohosts. We do this live, there's always a plan, but the plans change. Topics get covered, ignored and new and crazy things happen. So if this isn't what you're used to with On Hiatus, that's okay... but you should know Season Two is coming very soon!
Netflix just might have their own Game of Thrones saga with the upcoming release of Shadow and Bone! Zack Snyder also brings his first film 'Army of the Dead' to the Streaming channel as he reveals his Las Vegas heist flick, that happens to be taking place in a Zombie Apocalypse! Ginger has an accidental slip of the tongue (which never happens) and calls his neighbor Labor Cole, which immediately causes Neighbor Cole to announce that he is the work horse of the show! In the Weekly Watch Party, the scores come in and it's so close that YOU the listener had to announce our winner. Quadfather puts Ginger and Cole on his therapy couch and gives a deep analysis of Ginger's Chasing Amy and Cole's High Fidelity. While we're on the couch, we decide to go full on 2 dinks and a shrink on one of our listeners. You're welcome. We also Geek Out About Netflix's Bonding, Behind Her Eyes, and HBOmax's The Night Of... while Cole gives us an education on Feudal Japan in Netflix's Age of the Samurai. A clip from this weeks Exclusive "Catching Up With The Geeks" is shared at the halfway point and a big thanks and shout outs go out to those of you that help support Monkey Poo Studios! You can support the show by going to Patreon.com/MonkeyPooStudios or becoming a member of the new MonkeyPooStudios.com membership site (coming this month!)
The Quadfather joins Ginger for a cup of coffee and a WTF is going on with 12 Days a Geekmas. Scheduling conflicts aside, we're covered in snow, bad drives and lots of gift giving. The spirit of Christmas can't be broken here at Monkey Poo Studios... it just can't make miracles happen either. If things go right, tonight on Christmas Eve, we will wrap (heh) up our 12 Days a Geekmas recordings together and have them out for you beginning tomorrow! Thanks for listening. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Festivus, and all the others that you may or may not celebrate! -AG

Grant @Insta_Grants2 on twitter returns to finish off our conversation. We discuss more about friendship, getting older and of course friendship. Having "The Talk" with our kids. Is it different for a father to a daughter than a father to a son? Beaver Weasel gets brought up. It's best you just listen... and now that I'm writing this I realize we didn't even tell you, the listener, the really funny stories about this man. Will there be more recordings from Grant and Jay? Should there be? Would you listen if there were? Stay tuned till the end for a "Commitment" or not! Don't forget that you can support this podcast and all of the Monkey Poo Studios podcasts by going to Patreon.com/monkeypoostudios

Dave Jackson returns to the podcast to discuss the different ways people include their personal lives in their podcast. We also chat having a healthy balance between podcasting and the rest of your life. Once Dave takes off... we bring in Elsie, who is coming down from the mountains and into civilization. Just ignore the dog in the back ground... for she's calling from the road and we are doing a live broadcast so all quiet like studio stuff is thrown out the window for this episode. Elsie talks a bit about the 2017 changes at Libsyn. She doesn't announce a Stat's app... but we threaten to spread the word about it anyway. We also talk about the Power of Podcasting and How it's changed each of our lives! Dan Evans, Cohost of the Deconstructing Dad podcast (yes... it's part of the Monkey Poo Studios family of podcasts) and Courtney Caulkins of the Quadcast Podcast join in on the discussion, while Neighbor Cole from the 7 Days a Geek podcast (yes... this one is part of Monkey Poo Studios too) moderates the chatroom. **This is the second hour of the LIVE celebration of podcasting we host each year in October known as Podtoberfest. Courtney Calkins, the man, the myth, the legend from the Quadcast Podcast joins me today for a discussion on being an authentic host. It's what attracts us as listeners, and it's what will attract listeners to you as a podcast host. Bring the energy! We also discuss methods to prevent "Pod Fading" and social media tactics in building your audience. I'll give you a hint, be social! Never stop learning or trying to master your craft. Courtney talks about bragging when he first started that he never edited his show. Over the course of producing his shows, he's taught himself how to create smooth transitions, and segment bumpers. He loves placing music beds through out the course of an episode. His show has become highly produced. I think it's an aural work of art. Podcasting is one of the few forms of entertainment where you can not only build relationships but form solid friendships! If you're producing your podcast, I'm sure you're hoping to be able to give something to the listener, but if you allow it, the listener will give something back. Podcasting can be a fun filled personal journey of discovery. It can be therapeutic. Be transparent and honest with your audience. You'll be a better host, and you'll have a better show because of it. Courtney is a self taught indie podcaster with the production value of an NPR show, but with the energy of an afternoon morning show! It's talk radio at it's finest. It's a podcast about the podcaster. I for one think it deserves a subscription on your playlist! iTunes:https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/quadcast-podcast/id942359443?mt=2 Also in this show, I begin production...errrrr...construction on the new Monkey Poo Studios project! More information to come in the coming weeks. Keep listening....and keep podcasting! -Angry Ginger

We talk whether a trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. is even needed. Getting excited for Hugh Jackman's last turn at Wolverine, and Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom return to the high seas in another Pirates movie. The excitement level is split. In this episode, Monkey Poo Studios presents "Sidekicked", a super heroic audio drama written by Jason The Angry Ginger. In what originated as a Batman Parody, quickly became much more. Though in the first episode you'll get a mix between Batman the Comic and the 1966 TV show...but if and when more episodes are produced, you'll see that this will really start to go in a new and twisted direction. If you're a fan of this show and you like what I do...then you'll love what Steven has written. It's 11 episodes of the funniest situational comedy I've ever come across. It doesn't matter that this show lays in some dark corner of the web...this show deserves to have a spotlight on it at all times! This show is so good that CBS picked it up for series! Limited Release is a podcast about all things webseries. Candice and Nick come on over to Monkey Poo Studios via Skype to fill us in how they run thier show. This is an interesting listen for those that want to do a show with barely any Post Production. They teach us how to get all your sound files at the ready and play them as you record. How do you feel about editing? Some think it's a must...others don't. We discuss this and so much more. Enjoy! -AG
In this episode the guys gather in Monkey Poo Studios and immediatly get lost in some type of A.D.D. void! They try geeking out and moving on and then continue geeking out! That's not a bad thing, that's what we're here for but it's pretty chaotic at best! Bacon gets his Stroke on, TK1 is all about the movies and Bacon remembers his love for TMNT! Jer has a clash with Tech Support over a Thermostat...yeah he's a rebel. Angry Ginger can't spit out a worth while movie discription to save his life but he does challange TK1 to a game of HORSE! We also answer some voicemails and TK1 shockingly Instagrams like it's the cure for cancer! -AG
*This episode has a few sound issues I recommend not making this your 1st listen* *though it is funny* What up GEEKS! Angry Ginger here. Well, it took 35 episodes to finally get Shelley...or as we at Monkey Poo Studios lovingly refer to her as, The Angry Midget, on the show! Finally. You've heard her once or twice in small doses. She actually appeared in a whole episode with McBlizzard and I and she doesn't recall even being there...so who knows what she'll remember about this one! I had a good time with this crazy broad. She's a bit ADD and unwilling to chat at times so stick with it...especially through the first 20 minutes because she actually gets into the show a bit after her nerves go away! As always, thanks for listening and please Subscribe on iTunes give us a big Thumbs up on Stitcher! Remember there are 2 episodes a week now...so if you're not subscribed you may fall behind. We don't want that! Geek Out! -Angry Ginger We'd love to know what you think about the show! Leave a comment on iTunes or right here on Libsyn!!!!!!!!!!
This week we gather in Monkey Poo Studios to talk Toys! Before we get to all of our favorite toys of our youth...well some of us had toys...others had a belt! Before we get to that though, we talk Doomsday Preppers, Honey Boo Boo of course makes a cameo and we talk about having our own Reality T.V. show! Get down to your bunker folks, batten down the hatches and press play on this episode! As always..."Geek Out!"
Team B is back in Monkey Poo Studios! That's right..TK1, Bacon, McBlizzard and The Angry Ginger all sit down to talk Geek. We take a few minutes to fill the guys in about Puppets and Zombie runs as well as discuss whether or not if my deceased mother could come watch the kids for a night! We also cover John Carter of Mars a little more American Horror Story...because McBlizzard has finally sat through it...and TK1 has not only ate a whole cake, he hurt himself in the process!
In this episode the WHOLE gang gets together. AG, TK1, McBlizzard and Bacon talk about TK1's accidental breaking of a pinky toe. We also discuss "Bedroom Sounds" and how they ended up on AG's personal Facebook page! It's not what you think! It's worse! Then @Angry_Oz_Geek stops by to talk about Star Wars Episode VII. Back at Monkey Poo Studios the fellas discuss some funny stories involving Halloween. Both Past and Present. The maturity level hasn't changed for some!
The Angry Ginger and Mc Blizzard unite once again, deep inside Monkey Poo Studios and talk geek! The choice has been made to cancel a beloved project, no sooner is that laid to rest, when a new one pops up in its place! All hail Hydra! (Get it?) Podcasting and Podcasters are discussed as well as stories from the past! We're six episodes in folks, at this point it's probably a given that AG will be sharing some embarrassing story or two from his past! Stick around...some of it's on tape! Oh, "The Double Nipple" is mentioned as well! Find the show on iTunes and Stitcher Radio by "Searching" 7 Days a Geek! Twitter: @S7evendaysageek Facebook: 7 Days a Geek Tumblr S7evendaysageek
The Angry Ginger and Mick Blizzard geek out in Monkey Poo Studios about the Alien Quadrilogy...or is it Anthology? We talk about parties at McDonalds and tween zombies mixed with zombie porn for the hell of it! We also flashback even futher to the days of old, when we first got our license to kill. Our first mission, and I chose to accept it...against all of Mick Blizzards better judgement, was to sneek love notes from his mom into cars of her "Friends with Benifits" who may or may not have been married! ...This message will self distruct in 5 seconds!
