Amy and Jess discuss the importance of maintaining hope and positivity in challenging times, the need to cultivate ways to feel connected and hopeful, and the importance of self-care. They explore the possibility of making conscious choices about the "stories" we believe in, and the need to nurture personal effectiveness and action in relationship and community. So often, people can get swept into states of fear and hopelessness. Amy and Jess offer tools and techniques for responding to fear and trauma responses. In the end, the metaphor of "Wonder Twin Powers" arises: a way to access and channel our highest good to engage in community.

This Week In White Supremacy 1HOOD braces for the ripple effects of Elon Musk taking subversive control over Trump's second administration which may lead to the fall of the U.S. government.1HOOD opens this episode questioning why Elon Musk continues to tout DOGE's influence on public policy despite not holding an official position in Trump's second administration proposing the conspiracy that Elon is the one running the United States based on his dramatic hosting of press conferences from inside the White House Oval Office. Treble leans into this unprecedented scenario and tilts the flow of thought to the scale of economic repercussions introduced by Trump's federal layoffs and their potential impacts on the local housing market in Washington, D.C. and what that could escalate to in the future.Jasiri then transitions the conversation to a DEI lawsuit filed against Starbucks by the Missouri Attorney General, alleging that diversity, equity, and inclusion policies have negatively affected the company due to not having enough white people to serve coffee to polarized Americans who are addicted to the caffeinated brand. Finally, the hosts read and respond to Blackmail from a Free Speech TV viewer named Laura Garrett who is concerned about the tone between Miracle the main attraction and white supremacy's favorite supervillain Saïd accusing him of being misogynistic, and opening the opportunity for “The Wonder Twins” to provide a glimpse into the history of their chemistry while addressing the serious topic of abuse present within male female dynamics. --To help us build liberated communities through arts, education, and social justice visit our website 1hood.org to purchase your official 1HOOD apparel or consider making a tax-deductible donation to 1Hood Media. --WATCH THE SHOW: youtube.com/@twiws--FOLLOW 1HOOD youtube.com/@1hoodfacebook.com/1hoodmediainstagram.com/1hoodmediax.com/1hood--About:This Week In White Supremacy is the 1Hood podcast discussing the cultural effects and weekly injustices surrounding white supremacy; through intelligent, insightful commentary and often comedic conversations this podcast is geared towards adults who want to digest the latest news and events with humor and Hip-Hop.--DISCLAIMERS: The views and opinions expressed during this presentation are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 1Hood Media, 1Hood Power, and or its affiliates. This week, Hackaday's Elliot Williams and Kristina Panos joined forces and Wonder-Twin rings to bring you the latest news, mystery sound, and of course, a big bunch of hacks from the previous week. First up in the news: Big boo to Bambu Labs, who have tried to clarify their new authentication scheme and probably only dug themselves in deeper with their customers. On What's That Sound, Kristina didn't get close at all, but at least had a guess this time. Do know what it is? Let us know, and if you're right and your number comes up, you can keep warm in a limited edition Hackaday Podcast t-shirt. Then it's on to the hacks and such beginning with a rather nice reverse-engineering of the Yamaha PRS-E433 keyboard, which led to a slice of Bad Apple playing on the tiny screen. After that, we take a look at an NES musical instrument, how to make wires explode with energy, and a really cool space mouse that uses flexures. Finally, we talk about a piece of forgotten Internet history, and a whole bunch of keyboards. Check out the links over at Hackaday if you want to follow along, and as always, tell us what you think about this episode in the comments!
