Stop Killing Your Practice by Thinking You're Worthless

Hey Docs,It's a harsh statement, but that doesn't make it any less true.  Most of us are afraid of the word "sales."  Most of us are stuck in a discount/poverty mindset.  And most of us aren't growing enough to see the dial change from roughly 10% market share for our profession. So, we are killing ourselves by thinking that we are worthless.  Yet, there are so many people paying lots of money for services that we are best suited to provide.  STOP... I mean really, STOP!  Read that again. If that is true (and it is), then the crime is not in giving too much care.  The crime is in giving too little value for the dollars the patient spends.  If you are afraid to treat a patient over months or years to give them the results they desperately desire, then get the hell out of the profession. It's time to know our worth and be compensated for it.  Again, people are paying money to someone and generally someone who does only a fraction of what you can do.  Be the high value expert you are and don't be afraid to collect on what you deliver. This podcast will help you change your mindset on the topic.  Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

Hey Docs,As a student and as a new doctor, life can be difficult.  You are surrounded by struggle and negativity all while amassing a ridiculous amount of debt.  Even better, you are continuously reminded of the statistics surrounding success in the chiropractic profession.  Well, I can't help that. But I can help you with something else.  I can help you with the realization and understanding of one concept that can unleash you from this crappy scenario.  Self-limiting beliefs are at the heart of all suffering and stagnation.  And if that is true (which it is) then identifying these beliefs and shifting your mindset is the key toward building lasting success.Enjoy this podcast as it dives into the 5 different types of self-limiting beliefs and shares a story of how they were needlessly hampering the success and confidence of a chiropractic student.  Hopefully you can find a few gems that allow you to break free from your self-imposed cage.  Hopefully it will push you towards experiencing a better life.Good luck and #keepmovingDr.J

Why Your Patients Don't Come Back

Hey Docs,This episode hits pretty hard for some of you.  Patient acquisition is very important, but patient retention is the lifeblood of a practice.  It doesn't matter how many patients come through the front door if they just sprint to the exit.I recently discussed this concept with a chiropractic student.  He had just finished a fantastic seminar.  Many of the best and brightest minds in our profession provided him a great deal of solid information.  But there was a problem... a really big one."How are you going to get the patient to understand all that?"It was a very simple question that was received by a very long silence and quite a lot of head scratching.  The answer was eventually, "we never really talk about that."Boom!  This podcast is dedicated to these unfortunate truths.  If we can't connect with the patient, the patient won't understand our value.  Even worse, if another doctor does connect with a patient, the patient won't even care about the value... they'll just say "yes."  This is why there are many practices that provide little value, yet experience massive financial success.  Patients generally care more about connection than outcomes.  The magic is when you deliver both.   When connection is established and value is delivered, your patients will do what we all want... stay, pay, and refer!Enjoy, Good Luck, and #keepmovingDr.J

Hey Docs,As promised we are going to discuss the art of "PRESENTATION" as the main topic of this podcast.  And yes, it is the one catalyst that will drive you towards lasting practice success faster than any other variable. But no, this is not a "presentation" like the  solar system at the 5th grade science fair.  On the contrary, this is how you draw out the most important aspects of the patients existence while finding the epic conflict in their life.  Then how you formulate their perfect ending where they ride off into the sunset (telling everyone about you).  And most importantly, how you position yourself as the expert guide that will lead them through the many challenges they face on their quest to recovery.  Sound familiar... as Donald Miller teaches in Marketing Made Simple, it is the basic construct to every "good" story/movie/series presented since the beginning of language.  Listen and enjoy this podcast to understand how you can leverage the power of stories and the power of presentation for the benefit of your patients and your practice!Good luck and #keepmoving

The One Thing To Understand Before Starting a Practice is...Every chiro student will have to do the same things regardless of their practice decision.  In other words, whether or not you are an employee, independent contract, or solo practitioner, what you do to succeed will be the same.If you've listened to this podcast, you know we push students toward business ownership unless they have a great opportunity as an employee.  But it is also very true that there are risks with this decision. One of the metrics to consider is REVENUE/SQUARE FOOT/HOUR.  You don't have to be a math major to understand that this is really just a profitability exercise:To be profitable I need to make a lot of REVENUE, "or"To be profitable I need to make a certain amount of REVENUE per SQUARE FOOT of office space, "or"To be insanely profitable I need to maximize the amount of HOURS I/we work to generate the maximum REVENUE per SQUARE FOOT possible with the lowest overhead.  Again, it shouldn't be a surprise that this podcast will help you understand that the 3rd scenario is best.  Yet, that isn't what you see in most practices; especially, those stuck in "old school" thought.Enjoy the podcast and remember to subscribe on ChiroPCP.com to get your copy of "The 5 Critical Things You Need for Practice that You Won't Get in Chiro School."  Good Luck and #keepmoving.

Student Loans, Business Acumen, & Practice CompetenceHello Chiropractors,Welcome back to the ChiroPCP podcast. Today we are going to talk about how you make the big 3 work once you are out of school. The big 3 are referenced above but in case you are adamantly against backtracking, here you go:How will you manage your Student Loans? How will you develop good Business Acumen? How will you gain Practice Competence? So is this more for the younger doc? Yup, but older docs can take practice inventory to ensure they are doing well and adapt where they aren't. Regardless here are the main focus points:Figure out your best strategy for tackling student loans and never forget that becoming wildly successful so that you can pay them off at the end of tax season is a great strategy.Having a mentor or coach that helps you “burst at the seams” as soon as possible is a great way to achieve the aforementioned strategy.Be aware that the ticket to practice competence is ultimately patients/patience. You have to be patient with your progression but also never miss the opportunity to gain a small ounce of competence with every single patient encounter. This is a long one, but I was passionate about it's importance. Enjoy it and hopefully take something that will help you have the best day, week, month, and year of your life.Good Luck and #keepmoving,Dr.J

Are You Giving More than You Are Getting? That is the ultimate question we have to ask ourselves.Welcome back to ChiroPCP!  We are tackling the concept of "Absolute Value" or "Value Equity."  Yes, you could probably call this "Leverage," but we want a different term that doesn't carry a negative perception.  This comes from the concepts held within two books I have recently consumed.  The first is "7 Levels of Communication" and the second is "Go Giver."  Both of these books are critical to chiropractors both young and old.  Doctors who've been around the sun a few more times stand to benefit from a reinvigoration of your practice from the networking side.  Younger doctors will reap the benefits of ensuring they stay the course as they develop a great practice on a strong foundation.  Regardless, it's all about "Value Equity."Most people understand Equity, but if you need a quick refresher it is the difference between what you owe and what something is worth.  For example, if I owe $50,000 on my mortgage and the house is worth $550,000, then I have $500,000 in equity... YAY!  On the contrary if I owe $50,000 and the property is worth $5000, then I have -$45,000 in equity... BOO!Transition this to the doctor patient relationship and "Value Equity" can be understood as the difference between what a patient pays for your services and the value they feel they received.  Score a positive equity and you have the beginning of a good referral source.  Come out with no equity and things probably won't go very well.  Lose the equity battle and things will get ugly fast.Enjoy this podcast as it dives into the concept and sheds some light on specific strategies and approaches to consistently win the "Value Equity" game.Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

Which is the model for the future?Life gets busy. It gets real. And, it can get very mess – yours and the lives of your employees.I hate to put it that bluntly, but it is the truth. Tragedy and hardship are not always in our control. In fact, the severe varieties are rarely in our control and they generally come without any warning.Would you be okay if a few terrible things happened to you or those you employ? As hard as it sounds and as cruel as it may be, you have to ask yourself this question in order to be prepared for inevitable misfortune. And if you are running a staff driven practice with minimal technological assistance, you are vulnerable.Don't get me wrong. I know many offices doing incredibly well under the staff driven model. But what happens if someone has to leave with only a days notice? What if two of your employees leave for a better opportunity? How will you pick up the slack? Will those people be easily replaceable? Will their tasks be covered quickly and efficiently?Maybe you are a delegating boss and can answer all those questions in positive certainty. But, maybe not. If less certainty is the case, consider these things:How am I doing my new patient intake? How am I doing my assessments? How am I doing my patient education? How am I doing my at-home exercises or recommendations? How am I taking payments or payment plans? How am I doing my scheduling? How am I doing billing and collections? What services does my phone provider offer? How much Staff vs. Tech? There are many other considerations, but the previous list covers a considerable portion of what good technology can either do or significantly streamline in your practice. Obviously a busy and growing practice needs someone to oversee these things. But unless that practice sees an incredible volume (100's of patients per day), you probably shouldn't need more than one person. That's right, one solid employee or 2 part-time staff should be able to assist a doctor or multiple doctor's with those tasks. That's only true if you have the right tech.Just like all other industries, we need to embrace technology to do the simple tasks so the humans we pay can be more efficient at doing complex tasks that generate a better bottom-line. It's that simple – reduce overhead and improve dollars generated per hour worked. Whether in school, in life, or in practice, we've all had it.  The paralysis of fear is demoralizing.  But, far worse, is when it prevents us from growth as we seek shelter in it.  That cozy dark section of our mind where no one can judge us or make us feel dumb.  That damp corner where nothing changes and surely nothing grows. So, yet another paradox to deal with.  Stay comfy and never flourish or risk judgement and unleash your true potential.  The answer is obvious, but the method of converting fear into confidence is excruciating.  I'm not going to sugar coat that at all.  It really sucks... but, it's totally worth it.This podcast dives into the silliness of fear and the misconceptions surrounding vulnerability.  Much of this came to light in a conversation with Danielle Eaton.  Her business is Aligned Practice, where she has helped countless chiropractors work less so they can live more.  She shared a funny, fear based story surrounding shredding a copy of a patient's drivers license and stressing severely over mentioning it to the head clinician.  When she finally told Dr. Nelson about the license he said, "okay, just get another copy at the next appointment."  Then he smiled and walked away.Fear sucks.  It throws us into anxiety and stress and often needlessly.  It threw a successful young women into negative self talk and shame.  But that was all internal.  Externally, when it actually came into the real world, it barely hit the radar.Thankfully, Danielle can now laugh at this story as she consults chiropractors to get more from their time and live a "fully fulfilled" life.  Yet, had she stayed in the shelter of her fear she would have never materialized.  She would have never impacted her community.  She would have never created so much change and positivity within the profession.  She wouldn't have allowed herself to be her.Let's all take a moment to do a self-audit with how we handle our fear.  Next, develop a strategy to unleash fear from your brain and let it out into the world.  Most often, you'll be ashamed of your wasted time as you see your perceived fear evaporate in reality.  For more help with understanding fear and accepting vulnerability as a strong weapon for your personal growth, check out anything from Brene Brown.Yeah Women!  Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

It's a question that deserves major consideration.  Are you speaking, and essentially communicating, in a way that your patients understand and appreciate. This all came from a resent conversation I had with a chiropractic student.  He had just finished a DNS seminar.  While he loved the information and knowledge, he and a lot of other students were concerned about whether or not patients would buy in.  Interesting!I'm more of a mechanist, but I don't shy away from the important aspects of holistic care.  That said, I was excited for these students to be at a DNS seminar but also excited to know they where questioning how to apply the knowledge within a practice.  I pray that they never stop questioning the authorities within chiropractic, especially with respect to taking our craft to the masses.Too often we see chiropractors speaking a foreign language to their patients.  Sure they're speaking English, but the patient isn't hearing a damn thing.  They might as well be speaking in Matrix code because everything is going in one ear and out the other.Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that what the doctor is saying is wrong.  In many cases, it's 100% right.  Unfortunately, the patient still doesn't care. This podcast discusses what you have to do to succeed with patient communication:Speak their Language - Communicate in ways that make perfect sense TO THEM!Start at the Beginning to Build Equity - Help them succeed in areas important TO THEM!Sprinkle in the Important Complexity once they are Bought In.Stop crushing your patients with clinical information or they'll find the back door much quicker than they should.Connect, Build Equity, and Sprinkle in Complexity over time and you will build a practice of raving fans who are expressing true health, stability, strength, and wellness.Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

It's no secret that we aren't seeing more than 10% of the population. It's also no secret that our profession has the best chance to change the status of chronic disease in the country and the world. Why then, do we continue to struggle?  Why are new doctors in a sink or survival-float scenario?  Why do so few doctors succeed wildly?  The number of answers to these questions are unfathomable.  Yet, we need to have some sort of focus.Today, I will break it down into a list of 3 Gifts that aren't regularly being given to new patients.  And no, I'm not talking about a coffee mug, a T-shirt, and a nice crisp high five.  I'm talking about the emotional gifts that mean everything to growing and sustaining a great patient-centered practice. But, before we list those 3 essential things, we should probably touch on the unfortunate truth.  Most patients are getting 3 lumps of coal on their first appointment.  They are as follows:ConfusionSecond GuessingDilution of the Course of ActionTo sum this up, the patient leaves confused regarding if the doctor even knows what their problem is, questioning whether or not they made the right decision going to a chiropractor, and feeling lost in the dilution of information that was chucked in their direction. No wonder we're struggling!Instead, give these 3 gifts:ClarityConfirmationClear Course of ActionEnsure that the patient leaves with clarity that you're both on the same page with an identifiable issue, confirmation that you are the best doctor for them, and a clear course of action for today and the weeks, months, and years to come.Doing so will improve your practice and the entire profession.Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

First impressions are everything.  Whether you are dating, doing job interviews, or managing a new patient, first impressions  shape the future of your relationships.  Do well and you begin a easy progression.  Do poorly and everything stops before it can start.Unfortunately for most young or new chiropractors, school did not prepare you to make a great first impression.  On the contrary, school actually prepared you to do poorly.  Nearly everything you were forced to do in school stacks the deck against you when you start your practice. Before you go crazy and start marching on your alma mater, hear me out for a moment.  Schools are setup to ensure you pass boards and manage to not kill anyone.  They are not set up to help you understand the subtleties of doctor-patient communication.  Your clinicians weren't focused on helping you learn the psychology of decision making.  Pass Boards,  Don't Kill Anyone.  Those are their main objectives.  So it only makes sense that fresh chiropractors struggle with crushing the first impression.  This podcast dives into these concepts:The 3 S's that screw up the first impressionThe 3 C's that help you conquer a patient's first visit.Enjoy and #keepmovingDr.J

Hey People,Welcome back to the ChiroPCP podcast.  Last week we touched on "down time" and now it's all about opportunity and the current state of chiropractic and healthcare in general.Unfortunately, we aren't fully ready for what the pandemic has provided in terms of public perception.  Never before have so many people been looking away from drugs and surgery and toward conservative methods to produce and maintain health.  Yet, we aren't optimally positioned to take advantage of that opportunity. Why?Our institutions, our established professionals, and our graduating doctors are missing key components to make that optimization a reality.Schools - They need to start being honest and providing a better pathway for students.  We need doctors walking into practice with all the tools necessary to succeed in chiropractic and business.Established Professionals - We need to stop feeding on the newest crop of graduates, handing them crap opportunities and little more than frustration.Graduating Doctors - You all need to get out and fail now so you can succeed later.  You need to develop some GRIT by putting yourselves in tough situations and making them comfortable and manageable.  Coming out of school should see you with all the momentum you need to succeed. So, we all have our parts!  This podcast covers them all in depth.Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

Yo People,Welcome back to the ChiroPCP podcast.  We hope you are enjoying the content and using the actionable items to improve your Patient Centered Practice! The last few episodes have come from conversations with some elite level chiro's from my graduating class.  This episode will step away from their shared expertise and engage a situation that many of us are feeling this very moment - The Office is Closed.Heavy snow fall and sub zero temperatures have rocked a major section of the country.  For many of the business in these areas, that means they are closed to business.  They did nothing wrong.  They aren't sick.  They didn't oversleep.  Nope, Mother Nature said, "Err-body stayin' home today!"In these small scenarios, as well as the large scenario of the pandemic, it's important to understand the situation as being a blessing and not a curse. That said, I am guilty of initially being pissed off!  Yesterday, I was set for a maxed out day to start a maxed out week.  The initial downshift of patient flow from the beginning of the new year was over and we were back to rockin' and rollin'.  But, Mother Nature had a different idea, and I was offended by that idea.  After resolving my inner immaturity, I shifted to a more productive approach.  Just like everyone else, I find myself wishing I had more time to do the things that would help the global picture of my life and practice.   And though that's a fact, I was missing the opportunity placed at my feet - the Blessing! This episode dives into these concepts and encourages you to find the blessing in downtime regardless of your scenario.  We all want more time (the game is always against us), don't miss the opportunities when extra time is provided.Good luck and #keepmovingDr.J

Welcome back to the show and thank you for your likes, shares, and comments.  We are starting to see more organic reach which is always a good thing.  Please continue to spread the word to those who may benefit.Last week we borrowed the expertise from Dr. Clay and Dr. Travis.  This week we do the same with Dr. Jason Hulme of Active Spine and Joint Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee.  Whether it's at his office humming with 2 associates and a solid staff or on his Facebook Live show "2 Docs," Dr. Jason is getting things done.  Aside from that, he is also an adjunct professor, presenter, and consultant for chiropractic colleges, MPI seminars, and any chiropractor looking to inject solid assessment and rehab principles into their practices.  Long story short, he's a busy dude and we are grateful for the time he gave us last week. One of the gems I grabbed from Jason was his clinic's acceleration once a solid and consist system was implemented to generate predictable results.  He uses and teaches SFMA to not only generate positive results for his patients but also scale his practice with a common language.  Because all of the doctors in the practice use the same assessment and treatment flow, it is easy to co-manage patients and open up time for other opportunities and adaptations.  With this setup, it is easy to see that Dr. Hulme doesn't plan on burning out any time soon.  And why would he?  He is currently dominating the 5 ways to avoid burnout. This podcast dives into all 5, but the concepts are easy.  The first 3 revolve around how you get things done.  The last 2 are the benefits you will reap to expand not only your practice, but your entire existence.Outcomes - generate great and consistent outcomesSystems - have solid systems that reinforce and scale the ability to generate outcomesEfficiency - fine tune the systems to make generating outcomes easyOpportunity - take advantage of extra time and resources to practice and/or live betterAdaptation - always be looking to adapt and grow so that being awesome never gets oldI hope you enjoy the show and again, thank you much to Dr. Jason for his time.Good Luck and #keepmoving

Is one more important than the other?  Can you have both?Welcome back my Brothers and Sisters,This week we must thank Dr. Clay Gasparovich and Dr. Travis Mohr for sharing their time and expertise with me. These two guys may be the most successful chiropractors from my graduating class (if not, let me know so we can chat ;-)). Dr. Clay practices in South Carolina and Dr. Travis hails from Tampa, Florida. Both operate large clinics with several specialty practitioners seeing multiple hundreds of visits per week. They embody the phrase, "Go Big or Go Home!"The next several podcasts will highlight some gems we covered in our 2 hour mega meeting. So much fun. And, again, thanks to these guys for sharing some knowledge. This weeks episode will cover something Dr. Travis mentioned when discussing chiropractors in general, but more specifically newer doctors. It's probably more important to have chiropractic charisma than clinically competent when you first start practicing. That doesn't mean you throw out the clinical aspect, but we must consider what the patient cares about... "Do I like this doctor?"If young doctors start by being likeable and generating a contagious atmosphere around their practice they will succeed at a quick rate. Their clinical competence doesn't need to be that good because, "people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." Caring buys visits and commitment. Simple as that. (Podcast - Are You Connecting With Your Patients?)But that doesn't mean we focus solely on charisma. Not at all. People aren't dumb. They will eventually see through smoke and mirrors and you will be exposed if you lack clinical competence. So, it's critical to have both (Jim Collins - "Good to Great"). Collins discusses the "power of and" in his book, clearly showing that companies that embrace the "power of and" succeed and those that don't fail in comparison. Our profession is divided right now between charisma and clinical competence; vitalism and evidence-based. But if we can combine them and have equal distribution, our profession will grow exponentially.Action StepDo a practice and self audit. In reading Seth Godin's book "Tribes," I came to several realizations.  One in particular stood out when he discussed the emergence of the CrossFit tribe.Globo-gyms, personal trainers, and boot-camps had been around for years if not decades.  While they all offered the same thing (better looks and health), none ascended to the level where CrossFit now stands.  Why?All had cult-like followings.  All shared a common interest.  Why did CrossFit succeed to such a higher level than any of its predecessors? The answer is simple.  They focused on quantitative instead of qualitative measures and rallied around a centralized leadership team.  Doing so allowed them to prove consistent results and maintain a consistent product and message.  Can Chiropractic do the same? This podcast is focused on understanding the parallels and differences be CrossFit and Chiropractic.  It also touches on the 3 biggest things preventing Chiropractic from enjoying a similar success (Fear, Shame, and Safety).Hopefully you can take some gems.  Hopefully we can all move forward and beyond 7-10% of the market.Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

The question has been ever present since I went through school in 2006-2009 - In what direction does the profession need to move?Over the last 10 years, I've seen a lot and I've learned a lot.  No matter how confident I am with my assessments and treatments, I can always do better.  I can always learn more.  And my outcomes can always improve.  I think the profession as a whole needs to operate from this mindset.  We can never stop learning, adapting, improving, and recycling the process.Aside from that, this podcast focuses the true giants in the conservative care space.  I highlight chiropractors such as Craig Liebenson and Greg Rose, but also Kelly Starrett and Gray Cook (physical therapists).  They have all collaborated to give us epic texts that guide us in terms of assessment and treatment.  So now we circle back to the question - where does the chiropractic profession need to go?Well, we obviously need to see more than 10% of the population if we want to see our communities beat the chronic disease monster.  But, a better question may be - how do we do that?I firmly believe that if the profession shows more solidarity in the following areas, we will see massive improvement over the next decade:Consistent physical capacity assessments (PCA) for acute care patients and patients starting care for chronic issuesPioneering research to broaden the PCA assessment to include more upper spine and extremity dataA flow towards Functional Movement Screens with sub-acute and progressing patients to reduce recurrence and maintain/develop capacitiesCap off treatment with a patient that can safely and confidently walk into CrossFit/Orange Theory/F45/HIIT/Functional TrainingIf we are the pioneers in not only improving patient outcomes, but fighting chronic disease, we will win in the court of public opinion and substantially increase the objective data that supports our profession as being the best place for pain patients to start. Here's to the next 10 years crew!!!Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

Will you BE/HIRE an Associate or Independent Contract?

In many ways, it is the most important question a chiropractic student will answer - Will I be an associate or an independent contract?Several years later, if things go well, the questions shifts a little - will I hire an associate or an independent contract? There is no right or wrong decision, just the data that comes as a result.  What we've seen  is that the decisions made on each side aren't doing much for our development as a profession.  When you consider the progression of a MD as an intern, resident, and fellow, the physician is virtually guaranteed the capacities of being confident as a health care provider as well as having a high paying opportunity waiting for them.  They have structured well.Take a look at the chiropractic profession and you will see major problems.  We consistently throw under-prepared doctors into the market to be overwhelmed if not consumed by any and all things.  Even worse, existing chiropractors are the primary offenders.  Agreements are generally scaled heavily toward the existing doctor because the new doctor has few options as an associate or independent contract.  We have structured poorly. This podcast discusses the various options, considerations, and obligations of both the new chiropractor as well as the chiropractor providing the opportunity.  With any luck, we can start providing better opportunities to strengthen the progression of young doctors.  Doing so will guarantee a higher likelihood of the profession seeing more than 10% of the population - not to mention our attrition rate dropping substantially. This only happens if both sides participate without ignorance or stupidity... which, can sometimes be a lot to ask.  But, we will ask. And, we will do what we can to help push the trend in the right direction.  Restructuring starts today.Enjoy, Good Luck, and #keepmovingDr.J

Can You Change a Patient's Behavior?

Chiropractic is classically defined as being a science, a philosophy, and an art.  This episode will dive into the "art" portion of that definition. As chiropractors, just like all primary care physicians, we all struggle with getting patient's to make behavior changes.  They generally come to us with issues that are caused or intensified by poor life choices.  Unfortunately, changing that behavior can be difficult. If we can't change the patient's behavior, then it becomes very difficult to deliver positive results.  If we can't deliver results, then patients won't be saying very nice things about us.  Therefore, our ability to generate behavior change can be a measurable correlate to our ability to improve patient retention and referrals.  Some of us come by this naturally and some of us see this as a constant struggle.  Regardless, the following concepts will either help you sustain your success or improve your outcomes:Listen - actually shut up and listenUnderstand - don't be thinking about your fantasy line-up... make notes Clarify - talk to the patient to ensure you understand their problem correctlyVerify - allow the patient to verify that your understanding is correctGuide - use the opportunity to start behavior change from a point of trust and connectionFollowing this flow will allow you to make the behavior changes necessary for your patients to rave about you to their family, friends, and co-workers.Good Luck and #keepmovingDr.J

I'm nearly 40.  (boo hoo, sob-sob)Actually, I am loving life and I hope you are regardless of your impending decade.  Much of that is because I've embraced technology and it's many advancements (not always on time, but in good time).Good tech should always make us question how we did it before we made the shift.  But it doesn't always work like that.  It's important to realize that we will always resist new technology.  Not to mention resisting change all together.  However, when we're set with good tech, we unleash efficiency, improve results, and generally save both time and money.  This podcast is about discussing the resistance to change and why it can be quite silly.  It also dives into what your current tech should be doing as well as an option to streamline your practice with something brand new.I hope you enjoy the podcast and I hope it helps you jump into something that makes your life better.Good luck and #keepmovingDr.J
