I continue to share my research on the Mother in Heaven. Adding on from the last episode about what King Josiah removed from the temple and the national religion. There is a big difference between the first temple period and the second temple period. We see in Lehi's vision what the religious elite tried to silence and delete. Two main points to look out for in this episode and in your own scriptural study of Lehi's vision:1) the very first two images that Nephi is shown in response to trying to understand the vision is Mary--a single woman--and then a woman holding a baby, the son of God.2) One of Nephi's first acts in his new civilization was to build a temple AFTER THE MANNER OF SOLOMON, this first temple period, before the changes were made.I love this stuff. In this episode I finally start sharing my research! We have to go back to the two temple periods in Israelite/Biblical history. This episode has a lot of dates so don't get tripped up on those! This is just to give the listener a better historical timeline as to when the intense purge of temple rituals, ordinances, and the Queen of Heaven took place. In this episode -- longer than what we are used to -- I discuss the creation narrative from Genesis and Moses; the creation of the earth and Adam and Eve. I also discuss how we are made in the image of our Heavenly Mother AND that there is evidence in the Bible of a Divine Mother, a Queen of Heaven, a Heavenly Mother who works side by side with Heavenly Father. How does God feel about polygamy? And does it really extend into eternity? What is the general law of marriage and what is the exception to the general law?In part 1 of a 2 part special episode, I discuss D&C 132, most specifically about polygamy and why God chose to use the law of Hagar to teach us that not only does He understand the intensity of this commandment, but about elements about the Abrahamic sacrifice itself. This should bring comfort and a bit more understanding about the nature of plural marriage and how it relates to Abraham.* * *Next week in part 2, I will go over commonly held cultural misunderstandings about plural marriage and put some ghosts to rest.Thank you for your support!* * *Please follow me on Instagram and Facebook:@RamonaSiddoway-author@ExploringtheDivineFeminineCheck out my website RamonaSiddoway.comPurchase my book "We are Adam" on Amazon or CedarFortIf you've read my book, please leave a review on Amazon! One of the biggest differences between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and other denominations is that we believe that Eve's choice in the Fall was a holy and righteous one; a necessary, vital step for all of mankind to take on the path to becoming more like our Heavenly Parents.Have you ever wondered why Eve was created after Adam in the Garden of Eden? It has to do with the two trees in that garden: the Tree of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life and Eve and Adam as their specifically assigned stewards. Each tree is considered a doorway, either from or to heaven. Eve and her daughters are stewards over one tree, while Adam and his sons are stewards over the other.Listen in as I talk about how knowing the correct understand of the the Fall in the Garden of Eden will help Eve's daughters understand their divine mission and stewardship. Also, listen as I discuss how Eve was recognized as a Life Giver before she ever had a child or carried a single soul in her womb, and what this means for your divine mission as a woman!!While I mostly speak about concepts and topics that are within the context of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, divine womanhood is necessary for all Christians and religions to understand. Please hit subscribe and email me at RamonaSiddoway@gmail.com with comments, questions, or topics you wish to explore. To purchase a copy of "We are Adam: the Partnership of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and what it means for you" click here for Amazon and here for Cedar Fort.Subscribe to my monthly newsletter at my website RamonaSiddoway.comFollow my blog at Medium.com for essays and articles that follow closely along with the podcasts.
Is it easier for some people to forgive than others? In theory we all understand the commandment that we are to forgive everyone, whether or not we experience our idea of justice or even an apology. Most of us understand this idea on an experimental level, but sooner or later on a practical level some of us may start scrambling for the loop-hole, confident that the commandment surely didn't really mean everyone. What if it is just too hard? What if we just don't know how to forgive?I discuss what forgiveness is, and what it is NOT. For instance, it is giving up those negative emotions of anger, resentment, hate, revenge, bitterness, and grudges. But forgiveness is not condoning or excusing the action that caused harm, nor is it necessarily tied to reconciliation. There are four reasons why forgiveness is so difficult for most people, but that there is hope for anyone and everyone. In this episode I discuss the REACH step by step process of how to forgive others, and that includes yourself, often the hardest person to forgive. While I mostly speak about concepts and topics that are within the context of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, forgiveness is for all Christians and religions, allowing individuals to experience peace and relief from a misguided commitment to anger and resentment.

Most of us dream of a marriage that lasts for decades, rather than the few fickle months that we see in Hollywood tabloids. When we look at the marriage of Adam and Eve, it can be seen as nothing short of a love story. How can that be when they did not date?In this episode I discuss the "cult of western romance" and achieving the "stirring the oatmeal" kind of love, and how the mundane, day-to-day living life together is in reality quite holy.To purchase a copy of "We are Adam: the Partnership of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and what it means for you" click here for Amazon and here for Cedar Fort.Subscribe to my monthly newsletter at my website RamonaSiddoway.comFollow my blog at Medium.com for essays and articles that follow closely along with the podcasts.Aaaaaand . . . last but not least, if you want a chance at a free drawing that will be held live on Facebook on March 2, your name will be included each time you:1) subscribe to my newsletter on my website2) subscribe to my blog on Medium.com3) leave a review at Amazon for "We are Adam"4) leave a review on Goodreads for "We are Adam" 5) post a picture of you holding my book on Instagram, tagging Ramona Siddoway and Exploring the Feminine DivineHappy listening!

One of the most beautiful symbols that the heavenly messenger sheds light on for the Tree of Life dream in 1 Nephi 11 is the vision of Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus. In fact, it is the very first vision symbol that the messenger brings to the attention of Nephi. Why is that? And why do we regularly give it a brief, cursory glance in our gospel discussions? In this podcast episode we take a broader look at the Tree of Life and what it has represented in both the Bible, ancient religions, and the Book of Mormon.Read more at Medium.comYou can purchase "We are Adam: the Partnership of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and What it means for you" at Amazon and Cedar Fort.Visit RamonaSiddoway.com to sign up for newsletters. You can find the essay for The Two Trees here. Here is a great essay about the Book of Enoch and Lehi's Dream.

We know that there are more males represented in the scriptures than females, but this works in our favor. Especially in the Book of Mormon, readers are to take notice and pay especial attention when a female is mentioned and the narrative around those women. Space was limited by Mormon, so his choices that made it into the compilation and editing are so important that LDS scholars have since recognized them as type-scenes.Listen as we discuss Abish and her experience as a type-scene and archetype.sign up for weekly updates at RamonaSiddoway.comYou can find her book, "We are Adam: the Partnership of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and what it means for you" at CedarFort and Amazon.

We are all molded by the culture we were raised in: religious, national, familial, our gender, etc. But while many of our beliefs are shaped by our culture, they don't need to be dictated by it. The narrative, and understanding, of Adam and Eve has been tainted by cultural biases, skewing the original template of the male/female relationship as God intended. With a correct view of the Fall we can change our own culture and how we treat one another, especially the opposite sex. Join Ramona Siddoway as she discusses the dangers, and power, of culture as we start to dismantle incorrect ideas of Mother Eve.
