In this episode, I dive into the biblical concept of idolizing pain and its detrimental effects on our spiritual lives. By examining the ways in which we may inadvertently make our pain an idol, we can better understand the importance of surrendering our suffering to God and trusting in His plan for our lives. In this episode, we will explore how idolizing pain can lead to distraction from God, hindrance to spiritual growth, impairment of faith, prolongation of suffering, disconnection from others, and a distorted perspective on God. Through this discussion, I aim to encourage you to recognize the significance of releasing their pain and grief to God, allowing for true healing, growth, and the experience of God's peace and joy. Today, I'm chatting with my sweet friend, Andrea Cantu! Andrea is married to Pedro Cantu for 23 years, where she says, "Can I say God gets the GLORY FOR THAT!! It's been a crazy road but we have made it." She is a Jesus Word girl, who loves the Word of God and all it has for her. She enjoys reading and journaling for herself, but for others she has a love to study and teach the Word. She loves spending time with family and friends. Andrea is the the founder of Better Together Ministries. As a ministry she loves that she gets to stand in the gap for each other and able to serve and partner with other ministries. She states, "We are all aiming for the work of our Father in Heaven. Kingdom minded driven to serve. It's been great." Her heart is to see women walk out what God has placed inside of them. To see how God can take the old man and do something beautiful with the new man, is what makes it all worth it. Andrea likes to remind others that He is Worthy and because HE IS, WE WILL!!
