In this week's episode, I want to talk to you about something that start-up entrepreneurs tend to get wrong. They start to think that business is a guessing game and that the idea of a consistent paycheck doesn't exist in entrepreneurship. However, once you learn how to attract leads, all it takes is all it takes is a little bit of math, and you will be able to visualize the growth of your business. And not only that, but you will be able to plan out and strategize your goals like you never thought possible. And this is what I want to teach you in this week's episode, how to crunch the numbers in order to visualize, & not guess any longer. Connect on IG @matthew.allyn

In this week's episode I want to talk to you about some of the things you may be telling yourself out of fear of leaving your corporate job and starting your own business. The most common of these is that you can't live without a consistent paycheck. Well then start making sales! Perhaps you might say that you do not know enough to start a business. Then start learning! Maybe you already started your business but the numbers are not great. Remember that you are only getting started. The biggest tip I can give you is to just start somewhere! I get it, fear does try to get you to stay where you are. Yet, I want to help you overcome those fears and help you live the life you desire. Don't let fear hold you back from fulfilling your dreams. In this week's Modern Business episode, I talk about overcoming one of the most common doubt-causing questions that plagues so many aspiring entrepreneurs, “Why would anyone buy from me?” Sometimes we ponder upon this question because our product or industry is much too saturated or we think that there are already people who are better known in this industry. And while these may be true, that does not mean we can't make a profit. I talk about the importance of being a good storyteller for both your own story and that of your business and the power of making connections. This can have a tremendous impact on how people react to you and your brand. YOU are the reason people choose to buy from you. IG: @matthew.allyn Check out: https://www.ptba.me/gameplan

In this week's episode, I talk about the story of my quarter-life crisis while working as a civil engineer and the steps I took to get from there to what I do today, which is doing something I love! I was the dispassionate employee who worked for the weekends and longed for something else in life. All I was doing was trying to find an escape from the reality that I lived from 9-5, Monday through Friday. As I looked for an escape, I found biking, and what started as biking a few miles to get to work led to me biking around the country. When I returned from my trip, something snapped, and I knew that I no longer wanted to work in civil engineering. So, I began to explore other passions such as fitness and photography. These were things that I loved doing, and the idea of making money through something I had fun doing drove me to continue learning. I continued my journey that led me to where I am today and where I want to help others arrive as well.
