Everyone has a dream.  But sometimes there’s a gap between where we are and where we want to be. True, there are some people who can bridge that gap easily, on their own, but all of us need a little help at some point. A little boost. An accountability partner. A Snooze Squad. In each episode, the Snooze Squad will strategize an action plan for people to face their fears. Guests will transform their own perception of their potential and walk away a few inches closer to who they want to become.  Snooze is a show about things people put off, how they conquer them, but most importantly, how they conquer themselves. This new podcast from LAist Studios will inspire you to ask yourself what you have been pressing snooze on, and inspire you to become the protagonist of your own life.  Support for this podcast is made possible by Gordon and Dona Crawford, who believe that quality journalism makes Los Angeles a better place to live. This program is made possible in part by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a private corporation funded by the American people.

The Snooze podcast is an absolute gem that has quickly become my favorite podcast of the year. Hosted by the talented and relatable Megan Tan, this show offers uplifting stories, well-produced content, and valuable life lessons that have resonated with me on a deep level. Each episode is a journey filled with sincerity and honesty, leaving me feeling encouraged and inspired. The genuine warmth that Tan brings to the show is palpable, and her caring nature shines through as she helps guests navigate their goals. I find myself invested in the journeys of these individuals, eagerly awaiting each new episode to see how they develop the courage to face their fears. The growth and evolution of this lovely show only add to its appeal.

One of the best aspects of The Snooze podcast is Megan Tan herself. Her natural warmth and energy make for a captivating listening experience. She genuinely cares for each guest and brings out their authentic stories in a relatable way. Her storytelling skills are exceptional, keeping listeners engaged and entertained throughout each episode. The production value of the podcast is top-notch, creating an enjoyable audio experience that feels like watching a movie with your ears. The combination of Tan's storytelling abilities and the skilled editing elevates the show to another level.

While it pains me to say anything negative about such a fantastic podcast, if there was one minor drawback it would be that there could be more episodes released more frequently. As a devoted fan, I eagerly anticipate each new episode and find myself longing for more content from this amazing team. However, I understand that quality takes time, and I appreciate the effort put into producing each episode.

In conclusion, The Snooze podcast is an absolute must-listen for anyone seeking inspiration, motivation, or simply an uplifting listen. Megan Tan's authenticity shines through in every episode as she helps individuals face their fears and take steps towards achieving their dreams. The combination of relatable stories, excellent production value, and Tan's infectious energy make this podcast a truly unique and valuable experience. Amid the devastating Palisades and Eaton Fires that killed more than two dozen people, a political conflict came sharply into focus surrounding the funding of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). Finger-pointing as to who was to blame included former LA Fire Chief Kristin Crowley and LA Mayor Karen Bass. The two women would be lambasted for their handling of one of the most destructive natural disasters in Southern California history. But instead of coming together to fend off attacks and manage the fire response, Bass and Crowley ended up engaging in a very public feud.
