In this episode of the Friends in Beauty Podcast, I am sharing the simple but powerful decision that completely changed the type of clients I attract and the way I experience my beauty business. As I kick off the first episode of 2026, I reflect on what truly shifted my career. It was not more content, more hustle, or more trends. It was the decision to stop talking to everyone and get clear on who I actually wanted to serve. Once I made that choice, everything began to change. My positioning became clearer, my boundaries became stronger, and the clients who came into my world were aligned, respectful, and willing to pay my rates. In this episode, I walk you through why clarity creates confidence, how positioning affects your pricing, and why defining your ideal client helps you attract high paying and high quality clients. I also share how content, language, and visibility naturally fall into place once you are clear on who you are speaking to.If you have been feeling scattered, underpaid, or unsure about your next move, this episode will help you step into 2026 with focus, confidence, and intention.

“The high-end consumer's going to drive the spend this holiday,” says Charlie O'Shea, citing anecdotal evidence of long lines even in the cold. The question is what will happen on the lower end, he adds. He covers the “arms race” of Amazon (AMZN) free shipping and its avoidance of brick-and-mortar vs Walmart (WMT) and Costco (COST). He thinks Target (TGT) is doing a good job despite “bumps in the road.” ======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Sean "Diddy" Combs has bolstered his legal team by adding two new high-profile attorneys: Anthony Ricco, a renowned trial lawyer, and Alexandra Shapiro, an appellate expert. This decision comes amid his ongoing legal battle after his September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Combs is accused of being involved in a wide-ranging conspiracy, leading to a highly publicized case. His legal team is now making a third attempt to secure his release on bail after previous denials. In their latest filing, Combs' defense proposed a $50 million bail package, which included stringent conditions such as no female visitors outside his family. Despite this, U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter denied the request, citing concerns that Combs remained a danger to the public. His lawyers continue to argue for his release, claiming that he is innocent and poses no flight risk.(commercial at 9:30)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Diddy enlists high-powered legal team for THIRD bail attempt... two weeks after his arrest for sex trafficking charges | Daily Mail Online
One of the questions I think about constantly is what actually makes a machine shop valuable. Not just today, but five, ten, or even twenty years down the road. It's easy to point to machines, revenue, or backlog, but the real drivers of long-term value usually run much deeper. That's exactly why I wanted to sit down with Jamie Goettler, Chief Revenue Officer of BTX Precision, for this episode of Machine Shop Mastery. BTX Precision is one of the fastest-growing advanced manufacturing platforms in the country. Jamie brings a rare blend of perspectives to the conversation. With more than two decades at MSC Industrial Supply, deep experience in innovation and machining technology, and now a front-row seat to platform growth through acquisition, he understands what separates shops that simply survive from those that truly thrive. In our conversation, we dig into what BTX looks for when acquiring companies. We talk about why capability, cleanliness, people, and culture matter more than ever. We also cover the metrics that actually signal business health, including book-to-bill, customer concentration, technology adoption, and employee engagement. Jamie shares how BTX balances scale with continuity, keeping individual business units intact while supporting them with capital, leadership, and shared resources. We also explore where manufacturing is headed next. From the real inflection point happening in additive manufacturing to the growing importance of cybersecurity and CMMC compliance, this episode covers issues every shop leader needs to be thinking about right now. Whether you plan to sell your business someday or simply want to build a stronger one, this conversation offers practical insight into how sophisticated manufacturers are positioning themselves for the future. In today's episode, I'm talking with my friend Dawn Weisberg of Tularosa Flowers about what it actually takes to create and book large-scale luxury weddings — not just from a "pretty" standpoint, but from a strategic, energetic, and logistical one. Dawn and I both came to the wedding industry later in life with long creative careers behind us — mine in directing and acting, hers in costume design for film and television. We get into how those backgrounds shaped the way we approach weddings as world-building: cinematic, intentional, immersive, and deeply rooted in storytelling. We talk about: How Dawn went from starting florals at 45 to designing six-figure weddings in under a decade Why she treats every wedding like a film set: thinking in scenes, movement, and guest experience The behind-the-scenes systems and logistics that make large-scale productions possible How her viral "Malibu Barbie meets Marie Antoinette" pink wedding came to life — and what made it blow up online The creative process of pulling inspiration from runway shows, architecture, art, travel, and above all, the couple themselves Why color is having a moment in the luxury world and how to use it in a way that still feels timeless and elevated The mindset shifts required to feel safe holding and delivering on big budgets The role publications & Pinterest have played in her growth (and how she handles rejection like a pro) How styled shoots and editorials catapulted both of our careers into higher price points What florists actually need from photographers on a wedding day to grow their own businesses We also explore the emotional and energetic side of this work — what it's like to be genuinely obsessed with your craft, how to avoid burnout by building a business that actually feeds you, and why weddings are still the modern-day fairy tale for both couples and creatives. P.S. I'm hosting a Tuscany Real Wedding Workshop this spring — a real wedding with a real couple and 30 real guests, photographed and designed over multiple days. You'll walk away with: A full multi-day destination wedding story (engagement, welcome party, bridal editorial, wedding day, farewell event) A pre-trip mentorship to refine your brand, portfolio gaps, and shot list A post-trip call where we turn your gallery into a 90-day luxury marketing plan If your gut is saying "this is my next level," send me a DM and I'll send you the full proposal. We have very limited spots. Meet Dawn Dawn Weisberg is the owner and flower mastermind behind Tularosa Flowers, a luxury wedding design company in Southern California in the San Diego area. Five-Star Clinic: Lessons from High-End Restaurants In this episode, Doc Danny Matta unpacks what elite restaurants do differently—then maps those exact moves to cash-based PT. From the reservation experience to ambiance, “the menu,” service, and checkout, learn how details create premium value, command higher rates, and generate more referrals. Quick Ask Help us reach our mission of adding $1B in cash-based services to physical therapy: share this episode with a clinician friend or post it to your Instagram stories and tag @dannymattaPT so he can reshare! Episode Summary Reservation experience → Pre-visit touch: Don't rely on generic confirmations. Call/text with directions, parking, “what to expect,” and a 1–2 day pre-visit email from the actual provider. Ambiance → Your space: Design matters. Lighting, smell, layout, materials, music, branding—create an intentional feel your ideal patient loves (and wants to refer into). Menu → Productized services: Name and package outcomes (e.g., “Pain-Free Performance Plan,” “Athlete Optimization”). Present options with a clean pricing sheet and a confident recommendation. Service → Clinical excellence + standards: Providers are your brand. Hold the standard on punctuality, communication, dress, outcomes, and EQ. Coach up or move on. Checkout → Frictionless finish + surprise & delight: Card on file, painless renewals, small “day-one” gifts (e.g., mobility tools), and handwritten thank-you notes. Premium perception: Details separate you from commodity clinics, justify higher prices, improve hiring/retention, and grow word-of-mouth. Lessons & Takeaways Details are the brand: Senses and systems create perceived value before treatment starts. Curate the offer: Productize services and tie them to outcomes—not visit counts. Own the recommendation: Be definitive with prognosis and plan; don't talk patients out of yes. Invest in the room: Space design is a growth investment, not a cost center. Mindset & Motivation The standard is the standard: High-performing teams protect the bar—and A-players expect it. Experience > price: When the experience is elite, price sensitivity drops. Steal like an operator: Study elite brands (restaurants, retail, studios) and adapt their best ideas. Pro Tips for Owners Pre-visit provider email: 2 days before, introduce yourself, set expectations, share a clinic video. Design the senses: Lighting plan, signature scent, music policy, brand palette, signage. Pricing sheet = menu: Clean layout, outcome-named plans, clear primary recommendation. Frictionless billing: Card on file, pay-in-full or monthly plan, one-tap renewals. Wow moment: Day-one useful gift (e.g., mobility balls) bundled into care—don't nickel & dime. Notable Quotes “In world-class restaurants the details are the experience. Your clinic is no different.” “Your pricing sheet is your menu—curate it, name it, and recommend with confidence.” “Patients buy outcomes and experience, not minutes on a table.” Action Items Write a pre-visit SOP: admin call + provider intro email + directions/parking. Audit your space for lighting, scent, music, and signage—fix one item this week. Rename and package your top 2–3 offers into outcome-based plans. Implement card on file and simplify renewals. Buy day-one gifts for all new plans of care and add handwritten thank-you cards. Programs Mentioned PT Biz Part-Time to Full-Time 5-Day Challenge (Free): Get crystal clear on your numbers, pick your path, and build a one-page plan.
