Today's self talk I will be showing you how to deal with stress looking at it from three different aspects, mind, body and spirit.MIND Who buys food to earth project is a mini replica of our planet and a giant glass dome. They have a Sahara desert a phone rain forest and over 3800 different species and plants. Scientists were amazed to see how fast and tall the trees are going but after a few weeks all the trees fell over, because they forgot to put wind into factor. The wind causes the trees to grow the roots down deeper making them stronger so they can grow taller and support themselves. Without the wind they grow untested and eventually are too weak to hold themself up. Similar to us we need the wind and the resistance in the storms because it's to grow roots down deeper get stronger because of the adversity. This helps us to grow and go to the next level in her life. When we can start looking at stress that's a good thing for us it really helps us to deal with it a lot better. Being in the WAIT room You go into a weight room to grow you don't come out there the same. Sometimes we need to stay in the weight room a little longer so that we can get stronger to handle what is coming for a snacks because if we were to go to another level there will be more adversity more stress and more people who are not for you so you have to keep passing the test. BODYStart the day saying out loud:Today going to be a great day!Studies are saying that first thing in the morning the rest of your day your subconscious is looking for reasons to back up and support that statement. Study on memory and reciting things back out loud. Talking to yourself throughout the day chanting! End the day 30 inhales 30 exhalesHold your breath express your gratitudes for the day. In the hell would your breath for 15 seconds and set your intention for the rest of the eveningSPIRIT Reciting scripture reminding God what he said in the Bible throughout the day and when problems arise gives you faith and confidence that God has not brought you this far to leave you. It is a great reminder to have these verses memorized so you can chanting and know that everything is going to work out and that whatever you're going through it is not meant to hurt you and it's made to prepare you for what you have coming in store. These are my two favorite scriptures for dealing with stress or when situations arise.Phil 4:6don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything, tell God what you need and thank him for all he's done.Mark 11:22-25 “Jesus replied to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for — believe that you have received it and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.”
Breathing is one of the most essential and crucial parts of our daily life. However it is often lost in the shuffle of the daily grind. For most breathing is the last thing on our mind. However just a couple minutes of breath practice a day and having the awareness to implement these proven strategies can change your entire day. Giving you anew energy, helping to reduce stress and make you less fatigued at the end of the day.Tip #1 Belly Breathing Find out what type of breather are you belly or chest? Test: lying on your back one hand on your chest one hand on your stomach take a big inhale followed by big exhales see what hand moves... the hand on your stomach with a hand on your chest? You want the hand on your stomach to move Application: every night lie on your back and do diaphragmatic belly breathing. at least 10 reps trying to move your hand on top of your belly up as you inhale and on the exhale drive it through your spineTip #2 Wim Hoff Breathing Download his app here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wim-hof-method/id890471578Exercise 1 In the App explore exercises push ups Exercise 2 in the Appguided bubble breathingDo two to three rounds of breath holds Tip # 3 Alternate Nostril Breathing Masculine and feminine Try this video in episode above Tip #4 Double Inhale One Exhale Breathing technique made famous by neuroscientist Andrew Huberman, he explains how this increases the little sacks of air within your lungs. So at the end of the day you have more of them in your body versus them slowly decreasing throughout your dayTip #5 End the day 25-30 breaths with a 15 seconds holdInhale and exhale quickly 25 to 30 times in a row then hold your breath for 15 seconds. This will put your body in a mild form of controlled stress which will activate your adrenal glands pump more blood throughout the rest of your body and give you more oxygen to your brain subsequently waking you up and making you more alert
