In fact we are are all here to help trigger each other so that we can see ourselves and others through the lens of love. It is through these triggers that are meant to bring up unhealed parts within us so that we can heal them and understand the reasons behind this triggers. When we can see these triggers within ourselves we can in turn around and validate and regulate our kids emotions (or others).In todays episode I share a recent experience that I had with my youngest son even though in reality the experience is laughable looking back, it brought up a lot of unhealed parts of me that I was able to see understand and validate myself so that I could turn around and validate him. I share with you a secret weapon to use next time you feel triggered by your own kids (or spouse, friends, neighbors, strangers) so that you can validate yourself and your kids. Happy Week Beautiful!This week we celebrate international Women's day and it got me thinking what is the most empowered thing I've done for myself that had empowered others around me. What comes to mind is being brave enough to do the inner work so that I can be the mom that my kids need to me to be. It inspired me on the topic how can we help our kids regulate their own emotions even when we have big emotions ourselves and the biggest way is allowing yourself to see, support, and love the inner child within. Being able to go through this process has felt empowering for me as a mom and it has allowed me to build a relationship of trust with my kids. If your closed off they can feel it.Today I give you some of the tools in our toolbox at that we have been able to use in our home to help regulate BIG emotions when they come up.I am excited to share these tools with you and hope that you can use them too!
