Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo report from Tuesday's practice at the team's facility ahead of its NFL Week 15 matchup with the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. What injury updates did coach Mike Tomlin provide? Could rookie DL Derrick Harmon and safety Kyle Dugger return? What effect would that have on the run defense against De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright? Are DK Metcalf's stomach issues going to affect his availability for Monday night? What about Darnell Washington, Malik Harrison and Andrus Peat, who are all in concussion protocol? How concerned should the Steelers be about the running game led by Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell? Was Aaron Rodgers' big game a sign of things to come? And how much credit does OC Arthur Smith deserve for their aggressiveness against the Ravens? Our duo answers those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. On the Monday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react to an important NFL Week 14 victory against the Baltimore Ravens. Specifically, they ponder the success of the deep passing game. How did QB Aaron Rodgers get it back on track with the help of pass catchers including DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin III, Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell? How sustainable is this success the rest of the way as coach Mike Tomlin's team and OC Arthur Smith's unit looks to clinch the AFC North? How much improvement can the offense still make? And what impact will injuries to tackles Broderick Jones and Andrus Peat make? Our duo tackles those questions, then talks defense. How did coach Mike Tomlin's defense contain Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry in the running game compared to the games in Baltimore last season? Why do Alex Highsmith and T.J. Watt deserve a lot of credit for stepping up amid injuries to Malik Harrison and Derrick Harmon? What role did cornerbacks Joey Porter Jr., James Pierre and Brandin Echols play? And why was Patrick Queen quietly one of the unit's more effective players? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. November 26, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 55 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making a few practice squad transactions since our last show. We also discuss the news related to injured Steelers DL Daniel Ekuale being given a five-game suspension on Tuesday and the impact that has on him and the team. Alex and I then go over the list of injured Steelers players heading into Week 13 and that includes DT Derrick Harmon and T Broderick Jones already being ruled out for Sunday's home game against the Buffalo Bills. We discuss whether Calvin Anderson or Andrus Peat will replace Jones at left tackle on Sunday and if both DL Logan Lee and DL Brodric Martin-Rhodes will be active on Sunday with Harmon sidelined. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin addressed the health QB Aaron Rodgers on Tuesday, so we discuss the optimism he showed when it comes to the team possibly having their starter back on Sunday against the Bills. We also discuss the other injured players that Tomlin listed during his Tuesday press conference, As usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of Tomlin Tuesday. We discuss what Tomlin had to say about the team's loss to the Chicago Bears this past Sunday, the late illegal formation penalty in that game and what he said about the play of QB Mason Rudolph in that contest. We also discuss Tomlin focusing on special teams play to open his Tuesday press conference. Tomlin was asked about the usage of the middle of the field in the passing game on Tuesday, so we go over his comments on that subject. Alex and I also look at some passing stats related to deep and ultra deep attempts so far this season as it relates to usage of the middle of the field. We also recap Tomlin essentially glossing over the defensive schematics used on one of the touchdown passes the Bears had on Sunday. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday road loss to the Bears now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the good, bad and ugly that we uncovered from that when it comes to the offense, defense, and special teams. We start with the offense and go over the missed deep shots, the effectiveness of the running game, and the several second and long runs in that contest. After talking about the offensive play on Sunday, Alex and I move on to talk some about what we saw from the Steelers' defense on the All-22 tape from the Bears game. We go over the lack of pressure on Bears QB Caleb Williams in that Week 12 game, the opposing offense's ability to attack between the numbers in the passing game, and how that side of the football played against the Chicago running game. Alex and I mix in quite a few tape observations during this show and we make sure to discuss the recent play of several different players as well. Would it be a huge shock to most fans of the Steelers should the team beat the Bills on Sunday at home? We address that question later in this show. This 101-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo react to coach Mike Tomlin's weekly news conference ahead of an NFL Week 13 matchup with the Buffalo Bills at Acrisure Stadium. How will the offensive and defensive lines cope with their respective losses of Broderick Jones and Derrick Harmon this week, after both were ruled out by Tomlin? Are names like Yahya Black, Spender Anderson and Andrus Peat prepared to step up? What's the latest on Aaron Rodgers? Will he return from his wrist injury? Or could we see more of Mason Rudolph? Will we see more passes across the middle to names like DK Metcalf, Pat Freiermuth and Calvin Austin III? And how can Jalen Ramsey, Joey Porter Jr. and the secondary perform better against Bills star QB Josh Allen than they did against Bears QB Caleb Williams? Our duo tackles those questions and more. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
Hunter Homistek and Zachary Smith discuss all things Pittsburgh Steelers. On today's episode, we discuss the team adding Logan Woodside and Andrus Peat to the roster. Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray said Cam Heyward had been present for the early stages of camp and nobody thought to ask about him working to the side because vets of his status get treated a little bit differently. Ray thinks both sides of the equation have an argument. Ray told us Chris Boswell has spent more time at the local Latrobe golf courses than on the practice field, but it doesn't change the fact that he is among the best in the game. Ray said this could get uncomfortable, but at the end of the day, they will be on the field. The Steelers signed Andrus Peat today, who could be an insurance policy for Broderick Jones. Ray said Yahya Black is the player he's most excited to watch on Saturday night.
There isn't a single fan of the New Orleans Saints who doesn't have an opinion on the Derek Carr saga. Will we ever find out the truth? Does it matter? Will he playin 2025, and if not, who takes his place: second-round draft pick Tyler Shough or last year's backup Spencer Rattler? How about a spirited debate on the subject? Well, that's what we get on Wednesday's Dattitude Podcast (Ep. 368) presented by Evangeline Securities, as host Jim Derry and ESPN Radio host Matt Moscona share their differing opinions, as do the involved Dat Family. The duo also talks about whether LSU actually has the No. 1 portal class, as Sports Illustrated has suggested. Also, Gabe Henderson has something to say about Taysom Hill, and has his daily best bet in ‘Man vs. Machine.' In his ‘Last Word,' Jim looks back 10 years to NOLA.com's first-ever live draft show when the Saints took Andrus Peat and Stephone Anthony in the first round. (Stephone Who?)

It's been a while since our last episode, but it's also a pretty down time of the off-season; HOWEVER, the Saints have been putting out some news recently, including Rookie Mini-camp, recent statements by DA about the future of Marshawn Lattimore with the team, the anticipated, and now official, departure of Andrus Peat, some depth signings at offensive line, and "Big deal" or "No big deal" as to Saints First Round Pick Taliese Fuaga taking reps at LEFT tackle? Also, what rookies are we putting the most stock in after rookie mini-camp has wrapped? At this point, would we put the most stock in one of our later draft picks like Bub Means or a popular UDFA signing like Dallin Holker? Rookie Mini-camp also gave us our first chance to see the new offensive coaching staff actually on the field for the first time, giving reporters the ability to see how each of the coaches go about conducting the practice and teaching their young guys, allowing us to compare it to seeing the same routine on that side of the ball for the past 20 years. We get into that and more in this one, LISTEN IN! WHO DAT?!

It has been a week many people in Pearl River won't soon forget. Hours before seniors from the school were graduating and the baseball team was pulling off an improbable comeback to advance to the semifinals, a senior classmate was killed in a car accident. How has the team dealt with the tragedy, and can this group of young men continue to uplift a community in their first trip to Sulphur for the state tournament? Coach Buddy Turnage joins Jim Derry on Wednesday's Dattitude Podcast (Ep. 234) presented by Evangeline Securities, to talk about the journey, as well as his own long two-decade trip to this point in his life. Jim also shares his thoughts on Andrus Peat leaving the team to go to the Las Vegas Raiders and what would be the ideal schedule for the New Orleans Saints. And in the 'Extra Point,' he looks back 29 years to the great May 8 flood that dealt the city another blow.

We got a lot of Tennessee Titans free agent news on Monday with some good and some bad. First, the Titans miss out on Chase Young as he goes to the Saints, but the Titans did host offensive tackle Andrus Peat on a visit which is where their focus needs to be. Next, the Titans desperately need offensive line help and Joe Alt is the best fit in the draft. Luckily for the Titans, the path to taking Joe Alt at seven got clearer this weekend. Finally, there is massive Malik Nabers buzz currently, but Titans fans shouldn't let that trick them into thinking Marvin Harrison Jr. will slide. The New Orleans Saints have signed Willie Gay in free agency, but unusually have lost a considerable amount of talent to other teams. Zack Baun, Lonnie Johnson and Malcom Roach to name a few. Next, Isaac Yiadom is set to visit with the Washington Commanders. Could the optics match up with reality? Are the Saints having a little trouble keeping their in-house talent all of a sudden? Or are these calculated losses? If Isaac Yiadom signs elsewhere, it could push the Saints closer to keeping Marshon Lattimore. The New Orleans Saints reworked their deal with Ryan Ramczyk and found a real win-win-win of a deal in the process. With contract restructures available for more players, the team should be in position to spend now as they sit over $15 million under the NFL salary cap.The Saints have also been connected to former Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow. With money to spend, it would make sense that the Saints would be interested in reuniting he and quarterback Derek Carr. Alvin Kamara, Andrus Peat, and Taysom Hill are among the remaining money-making moves that the Saints could make.JOIN SUBTEXT: https://joinsubtext.com/lockedonsaints Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…
