   Despite being just 23 years old, New Jersey-born singer/songwriter, actress, and dancer Briannagh Dennehy has spent over a decade imprinting her mark on the music and acting world. At 10 years old, Briannagh D presented her vocal abilities to ABC News in August of 2012, in which just 10 months later she would go on to perform at the Apollo Theater stage to compete in the Showtime at the Apollo's finalist round. Performing at music festivals across the U.S. and the U.K. all before starting high school, Briannagh D was already raising the bar at a young age.In 2018, her single “Feel the Beat” shot to number 1 in over 24 countries on the Tempo Caribbean charts. After collaborating with Cassidy on “That Feeling” in 2019, Briannagh D followed up the success of that song with the music video's premiere on Nickelodeon's music channel “Nick Music.” After this, Briannagh walked the 2019 MTV VMA red carpet and spent the night as a television correspondent, interviewing artists on the VMA red carpet.In July of 2021, Briannagh performed in Times Square for Wonderama's Summer Concert Series. From her appearances on Disney Channel's Bizaardvark to NBC's Emmy-award-winning television series “This Is Us,” the IMDb-credited actress has a promising acting future ahead. Despite being a graduate student at Columbia University for her master's of science degree, Briannagh D refuses to shy away from the music and acting scene anytime soon. Presenting “Run My Check” featuring Grammy-nominated rapper Jadakiss to the world in 2022, and featuring a cameo from comedian Michael Blackson, she has been on a steady rise to international popularity. After the release of her single "Elevate" in 2023, popular African children's dancing group, known as "Ghetto Kids Uganda," posted an Instagram reel dancing to Briannagh's song which garnered over 1 million views. By the end of 2023, Briannagh D starred in a Nike commercial including basketball and rap stars like Lebron James, Travis Scott, and Devin Booker. In the summer of 2024, she graced the St. Kitts Music Festival stage alongside artists like Rick Ross and Mary J Blige. Christmas songs are seen as a pivotal part of the holiday season. They bring feelings of nostalgia, festivity, family and memories. Classics like Jingle Bell Rock and Santa Claus is Coming to Town just make the season feel complete. However, not all Christmas songs are made the same, in fact some songs and artists should probably avoid the holiday season altogether. So what makes a bad Christmas song? Holiday cringe, ill fitting genres, celebrity cash ins and melancholy overload. This week Dave will introduce an entire playlist of what have been deemed as less than classic Christmas songs, and to be honest, are just bad overall. On this episode we embarked on an intriguing exploration of a specific niche within cinema: bad Christmas movies. Our focus centered on two distinct categories within this theme. First, we examined a few b-movies (Elves and Santa Claws) notorious for their subpar production - the kind that are so poorly made, they loop around to being entertaining in their own right. Think questionable acting, laughable special effects, and plots so absurd they become fascinating. Second, we shifted gears to Christmas movies where the joy of the holiday is drastically undermined for the characters, leading to gruesome outcomes. Here, the traditional warmth and cheer of the season are upended, resulting in narratives where Christmas, instead of being a time of celebration, becomes a backdrop for chaos, carnage, and nightmares. Films discussed include À l'intérieur aka Inside, I Trapped The Devil, and Hosts. Through this dual lens, we attempted to uncover the peculiar charm and lessons hidden in these cinematic misadventures and misfortunes.
