Sadly, the paranormal community lost one of its own recently. Linda Godfrey, author of Weird Michigan and The Beast of Bray Road, left us way too soon. So, we decided this show to her contributions to the paranormal community and continue the quest to find out more about Dogman and other paranormal cryptids. Please click Subscribe/Follow Click here to go to our Web Page Click here for Linda's book Click here for joes book Click here to save on high-end clothing The Beast of Bray Road, also known as the Bray Road Beast and the Wisconsin Werewolf, is a purported humanoid wolf-like creature allegedly witnessed in or near the rural community of Elkhorn, Walworth County, Wisconsin. It has since become a part of Wisconsin folklore and has been the subject of multiple books, documentaries, and a 2005 horror film. Named for the farm road in which it was first purportedly sighted, reports of the creature in the 1980s and 1990s prompted a local newspaper, the Walworth County Week, to assign reporter Linda Godfrey to cover the story. Godfrey was initially skeptical, but later became convinced of the sincerity of the witnesses. Her series of articles later became a book titled The Beast of Bray Road: Tailing Wisconsin's Werewolf. Reports of a similar creature in the neighboring state of Michigan also tell of an alleged wolf-like humanoid, the Michigan Dogman. Lake Winnebago Water Monster – Lake Winnebago Ever taken a good look at a sturgeon before? They are some massive prehistoric fish that can be very intimidating up close and in person. This combination of its size and roots makes for some creative folklore, such as inspiration for the Lake Winnebago Water Monster. Some say it's a sea serpent. Others say it's a colossal sturgeon. If there's one thing we do know it's that there is a lot of mystery shrouded in this beast, many fishermen continue to track the creature in hopes of catching it one day and proving its existence. . Rocky of Rock Lake – Lake Mills Moving just east of Madison lies the community of Lake Mills and Rock Lake. The curious thing about Rock Lake is that if you dive down in certain parts of the lake you can find small pyramid-like structures. These mounds were believed to have been created by the Aztalan natives when the lake's water levels were much lower. Amongst these ruins and the vegetation, one can supposedly discover Rocky, a large serpentine reptile. Rocky is said to dwell amongst the deeper sections of the lake and reappear near the surface occasionally. Many reports occurred during the late 1800s of fishermen who would have violent encounters with the beast. These locals would encounter Rocky by their boats and along the shore where they would be traumatized once sighting the incognito beast hissing at them.
What are these creepy cryptids?? The Ningen haunts the Japanese boats and there seems to be a cover-up on what it really is. The Bray Road Beast has been stalking some folks in Wisconsin and maybe Texas... Become a member at https://plus.acast.com/s/lattes-and-legends-1. Hosted on Acast. Welcome to Elkhorn. The population of this sleepy little Wisconsin farming town is roughly ten thousand people. The wildlife ranges from the small to the rather large and there is more crop fields than there are businesses. But like many small towns speckled across the ol' U,S, of A, Elkhorn has its dark side. But unlike most other small town secrets, this one comes in the form of a real monster. Reported between six and eight feet tall when on its hind legs, The Beast of Bray Road comes equipped with incredible speeds, long, shaggy, dark fur, and a voice that seems to originate from hell itself. Be careful at night along these dusty rural country roads. Something's always watching, and you never know when that something is hungry. Welcome Back to Infinite Rabbit Hole! For decades, the creature described as a man with a dog’s head, or a dog that walks upright has been spotted by many eyewitnesses. Join me as we examine the Dogman phenomenon. The Beast of Bray Road, also known as the Bray Road Beast and the Wisconsin Werewolf, is a purported humanoid wolf-like creature allegedly witnessed in or near the rural community of Elkhorn, Walworth County, Wisconsin. Named for the farm road in which it was first allegedly sighted, Bray Road, reports of the creature in the 1980s and 1990s prompted a local newspaper, the Walworth County Week, to assign reporter Linda Godfrey to cover the story.

To really study the paranormal, any good researcher will tell you one must get out in the field to investigate the sightings, and that is especially true when it comes to cryptozoology. This is precisely what our interview guest has done. Lyle Blackburn is a full-time author, musician, and cryptid researcher from Texas, whose life-long fascination with legendary creatures has led him to write several acclaimed books, including Momo: The Strange Case of the Missouri Monster, The Beast of Boggy Creek, and Lizard Man. Lyle is a frequent guest on radio programs such as Coast to Coast AM and has been featured on numerous television shows like Monsters and Mysteries in America, Finding Bigfoot, and Strange Evidence, as well as other programs airing on the Animal Planet, Destination America, Discovery Science, and A&E channels. In addition, Lyle is a regular contributor for the monthly horror magazine, Rue Morgue. Lyle can also be heard as the frontman for his rock band Ghoultown, along with narrating/producing several Small Town Monsters documentaries, including Terror in the Skies, Boggy Creek Monster, The Mothman of Point Pleasant, and Bray Road Beast. When he’s not chasing cryptids and writing about them or performing with his band, Lyle can be found speaking at various cryptozoology conferences and horror conventions around the United States. Tonight, we sit down with Lyle to discuss his books and his thoughts about some of the most chilling encounters with bizarre and frightening creatures ever reported. Hello weirdos, and welcome back to It Gets Weird! This week we have a brand new episode in the F*** Your Documentary series! On this one, we tackle the Bray Road Beast directed by Seth Breedlove. Does a werewolf-like cryptid (or perhaps demonic entity) haunt the Bray Road in rural Wisonsin? It's hard to say but it's fun to believe. Nile and Kyle tell you the story of the Beast and offer their personal reviews. How f***ed is this documentary?
My love for the Small Town Monsters series of documentaries is well known. From Mothman to the Flatwoods Monster and beyond the series not only represents a historical curation of some of the nation’s most bizarre and tantalizing tales of the paraormal and cryptids, but it does so in an entertaining, cinematic fashion which feels part documentary, part horror film. With Small Town Monsters director Seth Breedlove’s new series, On the Trail of Bigfoot we were able to sit down with the man behind the company and talk werewolves, Sasquatch and, of course, HORROR MOVIES!!! Grab your favorite yeti scalp, set those bear traps and settle in for another hour of Night Terrors Radio!!!

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about how Kyle recently went to Galveston, Texas to do some sport fishing with his twins and they had an amazing time catching bull redfish, sharks, sting rays and more. Then, a person tells a terrifying story of their sons imaginary friend who just might be a previous owner who died years before. This person was a Vietnam veteran who died of cancer and now lurks in their new home messing around with the new tenants. Then, a man in Texas claims to have seen a dinosaur bird. The anonymous San Benito man said he was at his father’s farm with his friends when the event purportedly took place in 2015. “We looked toward the south and witnessed a pterodactyl,” he told MUFON investigator L. Flechtner. “It was coasting along a ditch.” The animal was described as having a wingspan of 10 feet and looked like a pterosaur. Then, a person who was in the military and stationed in Germany had a strange encounter with what they described was a giant bird! Apparently this giant owl like creature had an estimated 8 foot wingspan! After the break, Kyle and Cam talk with friend Seth Breedlove of Small Town Monsters about his latest creation "The Bray Road Beast". Seth Breedlove is a filmmaker. He has written, edited, produced and directed shorts and features about a variety of topics but is best known for his production company and the films they've produced under the Small Town Monsters banner. Before film, Seth wrote for a number of websites, newspapers and magazines and learned some of the skills he employs as a director while working as a reporter. Seth has also appeared on numerous television and radio programs. "The Bray Road Beast" is a movie about a hairy humanoid with canine features, the Beast of Bray Road, has been sighted in Wisconsin dating back to 1936 on a rural road outside of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. More recent sightings in the 1980s and 1990s, place the creature in Racine, Walworth and Jefferson Counties. Those who have seen the beast describe him as eating or hunting/scavenging.Also known as Manwolf, Bear-Wolf and Indigenous Dogman it is said to be around six feet tall with gray and brown fur. Its face resembles that of a wolf, with shiny yellow eyes and pointed ears. Its body, though furry, looks like a muscular man. The creature is said to run and walk on all four of its legs or just its hind legs and has been spied sitting on its haunches and kneeling like a man. Some people believe it is a werewolf, others that it is a Bigfoot and, and some believe that it is a yet unidentified species.Though it has never attacked anyone, some witnesses claim that it has acted aggressively, running at them and jumping on their vehicles. We met filmmaker Seth Breedlove at the Kent Stage for the 2018 Kent Paranormal Weekend symposium, where our first event was a screening of his film, The Mothman of Point Pleasant. Needless to say, we were very impressed by his documentary on the subject and then later by Seth himself. After a very pleasant chat in the lobby, we knew we had met a kindred spirit and had to get him on the show to discuss other works by his film production company, Small Town Monsters. Tonight we discuss Seth's oeuvre of well-researched, fascinating and enjoyable documentaries, covering such topics as the Minerva Monster, the Beast of Whitehall, the Boggy Creek Monster, Mothman of Point Pleasant, Invasion on Chestnut Ridge, the Flatwoods Monster, and his latest, The Bray Road Beast, as well as several upcoming projects. We'll find out what captivates him about each incident and the creatures at their centers, what it was like to actually explore these towns, and what he thinks might be happening with all this High Strangeness.
