Hour 1 Daniel Jones essentially said goodbye to Giants fans and Rex Ryan went on ESPN Radio and really, really wants the Jets job. We talked about what Rex would be like if he returned. Gio wouldn't do it as he thinks it feels pathetic to go back to when you last felt good about the team. Boomer said there are going to be 6 head coaching jobs open and Boomer expects Rob Saleh to get some interviews. Boomer would consider re-hiring Rex, but he wants to see who the other candidates are. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in the snow. Daniel Jones read a prepared statement to the press expressing his gratitude. Jerry has audio of Rex Ryan saying he's ‘all about the Jets' and ‘nobody's better than me'. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP. In the final segment of the hour, Stu Feiner wants to wear the ball-hammock underwear on stage with nothing else on. We declined. We talk about past B&G Live events as we get ready for our show at the Paramount tonight. Hour 2 News 12 Long Island did a piece on the live show we're doing tonight at the Paramount. We got into the Daniel Jones situation. He met the media yesterday and read a prepared piece where he was thanking the fans and the Giants for the opportunity. He did get emotional, which we've never seen before from him. We talked about the frustration Brian Daboll was clearly feeling in some of these games because of Jones' play. We talked about the NFL draft and who the Giants could get at quarterback. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in a ‘Winter Wonderland in Cleveland'. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones talking about not playing well enough and understanding why the Giants made the move. Gronk wants Jon Gruden for the Jets. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP and thanked Juan Soto. In the final segment of the hour, Jason Kelce ran into another moron looking for an autograph that was just a total turd (the autograph seeker). Hour 3 We started with audio from 2014 when Rex Ryan sat down with Andrea Kramer and said that Woody wanted him to be the head coach for 25 years, but you couldn't bring another GM to work with him. As far as Jon Gruden goes, it seems like there will be other teams interested in him, so he will not go to the Jets. Gio called the Jets, a ‘cesspool of an organization'. Boomer disagreed with that. Dr. Joe calls in. He's the guy who told us back in June that Dave Sims was getting the Yankees job. He said Suzyn Waldman threw the name out there. He called back to apologize to, I think, Suzyn. He said she has cut him out of her life. Jerry returns for an update and has the audio from the moron harassing Jason Kelce as he was leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Chad Ochocinco couldn't believe how boring the NFL has been until the 4th quarter hits. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones reading his statement on how things have gone with the Giants. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the farce that was the Tyson/Paul fight. Hour 4 Malik Nabers said that Brian Daboll told him Tommy DeVito will get the ball right where it needs to be so he better be ready as soon as he makes the cut on his route. We expect the Bucs to blitz DeVito a lot. Sam Darnold will most likely be available next season. Jerry returns for his final update of the day, but first, Chuck Scarborough is stepping down after 50 years at WNBC. A broadcast talent, entrepreneurial spokesperson and multiple award-winning recipient across a wide range of fields, Smith also earned kudos when she returned to the stage in her Off-Broadway debut in “Love, Loss, and What I Wore,” the award-winning play by Nora and Delia Ephron. In 2012, Smith was inducted into the American Chef Corps, part of the U.S. Department of State's newly-formed Diplomatic Culinary Partnership with the James Beard Foundation. Until recently, she ran three B. Smith restaurants: on Theatre Row in Manhattan; Sag Harbor, NY; and Washington DC. But then her life changed. In 2013, at the age of 64, B. Smith was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's Disease. Since then, she and her husband Dan Gasby have worked tirelessly to raise awareness of the disease and its effects on the African-American community in particular. For nearly a decade, Smith hosted the nationally syndicated/cable television show “B. Smith with Style” that aired on NBC stations in more than 90% of U.S. households and in 40 countries. Her effervescent personality and creative ideas continue to impact national audiences via her appearances on programs such as “Good Morning America” and “The Today Show.” She and Gasby have also produced four specials for TV One, the lifestyle cable network for African-Americans. Transcultural Lifestyle Pioneer Smith is at the forefront of a transcultural movement. Her flair for décor, demonstrated in the ambiance of her restaurants, led to the development of her first home collection, which debuted at Bed Bath & Beyond in 2001. The B. From duvets to doormats, Smith's décor line continues to grow with a variety of pieces for entertaining and home and incorporates her signature “Afrasian” design concept, which merges core African and Asian elements. Welcome to Episode 87 of Light On Light Through, in which I offer ongoing commentary about Occupy Wall Street, September 27 through November 23, 2011.  The commentary first appeared in 15 blog posts - dates, titles, and links to the text of the blog posts are listed below.  Main themes include Occupy Wall Street as a resurgence of direct democracy, police violation of the First Amendment in their violence against protesters and the press, failure of the Obama administration to protect the rights of Occupy citizens attacked by munipalities, and much more.  This podcast is about 55 minutes in length.  It is intended as both analysis and eyewitness to one of the most important revolutions in human history.  Further chronicles will appear here in subsequent months.
