I am quite sure I have never spoken with a parent whose child had their own Wikipedia page, but Erin's son, Keenan Cahill, does. Certainly, when Keenan was born, Erin did not ever imagine that someday, he would become an internet celebrity. From an early age, Erin worried about Keenan and his growth and development. When Keenan was 12 months old, Erin mentioned her concerns to Keenan's pediatrician. Keenan was diagnosed with Mucopolysaccharidosis Type VI. The disease was not curable, but was treatable. He underwent a bone marrow transplant to slow the progression. Erin was told that his life expectancy was between 40 and 60 years, and they should expect medical complications throughout life. Despite these challenges, Keenan wanted to be a regular kid, and Erin worked hard to make him feel that way. When Keenan wanted to play sports, Erin signed him up, although he could never hope to keep up with other kids. Nothing stood in his way. As Keenan started high school, he began playing around with the desktop computer he got for his birthday. He released a hilarious video of himself lip-syncing to Katy Perry's song, "Teenage Dream." People loved it, and soon it was played on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. His life changed forever. Keenan was off to do events to entertain people. Celebrities visited their home to be in Keenan's videos, but with this newfound fame, many had negative, hurtful comments. Just as Keenan did not let his disease hold him back, he didn't let those hateful comments hold him back either. Eventually, he graduated from college and was able to produce his own music videos. Complications after heart surgery ended Keenan's life in 2022 at the age of 27, far earlier than expected. While the world mourned a Youtuber, Erin mourned her amazing son. As Erin shared his story, I just kept thinking about how he spread joy in his short life. That should inspire all of us, shouldn't it? Despite the grief and pain, we too can spread joy and inspire others. While we may not end up with a Wikipedia page, it will be enough to help spread some happiness or relieve a little pain in those around us.

My guest this week is Cameron Tucker, Head of News and Content at KMTV. Cam and I begin by chatting about the BFI-funded series Generation Why that we both worked on in which we made sure young people from across the UK were fully represented. We find out why the series has been so transformational, and has helped us look beyond the world we know. We talk about how the world is both bigger and smaller, and we find out about Cameron's love of travel. He was born in Manhattan but grew up in Hong Kong where his grandfather was a policeman. We chat about hybrid identities and one's place in the world, including in the context of sport. Cameron talks about the records e.g. photos that he has from those days, and about his new role as a father. We discuss the importance of connection and the relationships we have with childhood friends, and how we continue from where we left off when we meet them, as well as the way places evolve. We then move on to reflect on the role of nostalgia in a changing world. Cam also talks about the role that music has played in his life, e.g. how he grew up listening to the soundtrack to Good Will Hunting. We find out how Cam ended up with KMTV in Kent, after previously working as a junior reporter in Hong Kong. He did work experience too during his degree in East Anglia. He has also done a great deal of freelancing, and has been at KMTV for seven years. We talk about the infamous ‘pot plant story' when Cam was doing a report which appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show in the US. Cameron talks about the role of negative experiences and the impact on nostalgia and answers it in relation to a wonderful Anthony Hopkins anecdote. Then, at the end of the interview, we talk about the role of authenticity in the way we project ourselves in broadcasting, and we find out whether Cameron is a looking back or a looking forward type of person.
We started with audio from 2014 when Rex Ryan sat down with Andrea Kramer and said that Woody wanted him to be the head coach for 25 years, but you couldn't bring another GM to work with him. As far as Jon Gruden goes, it seems like there will be other teams interested in him, so he will not go to the Jets. Gio called the Jets, a ‘cesspool of an organization'. Boomer disagreed with that. Dr. Joe calls in. He's the guy who told us back in June that Dave Sims was getting the Yankees job. He said Suzyn Waldman threw the name out there. He called back to apologize to, I think, Suzyn. He said she has cut him out of her life. Jerry returns for an update and has the audio from the moron harassing Jason Kelce as he was leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Chad Ochocinco couldn't believe how boring the NFL has been until the 4th quarter hits. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones reading his statement on how things have gone with the Giants. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the farce that was the Tyson/Paul fight.
Hour 1 Daniel Jones essentially said goodbye to Giants fans and Rex Ryan went on ESPN Radio and really, really wants the Jets job. We talked about what Rex would be like if he returned. Gio wouldn't do it as he thinks it feels pathetic to go back to when you last felt good about the team. Boomer said there are going to be 6 head coaching jobs open and Boomer expects Rob Saleh to get some interviews. Boomer would consider re-hiring Rex, but he wants to see who the other candidates are. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in the snow. Daniel Jones read a prepared statement to the press expressing his gratitude. Jerry has audio of Rex Ryan saying he's ‘all about the Jets' and ‘nobody's better than me'. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP. In the final segment of the hour, Stu Feiner wants to wear the ball-hammock underwear on stage with nothing else on. We declined. We talk about past B&G Live events as we get ready for our show at the Paramount tonight. Hour 2 News 12 Long Island did a piece on the live show we're doing tonight at the Paramount. We got into the Daniel Jones situation. He met the media yesterday and read a prepared piece where he was thanking the fans and the Giants for the opportunity. He did get emotional, which we've never seen before from him. We talked about the frustration Brian Daboll was clearly feeling in some of these games because of Jones' play. We talked about the NFL draft and who the Giants could get at quarterback. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in a ‘Winter Wonderland in Cleveland'. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones talking about not playing well enough and understanding why the Giants made the move. Gronk wants Jon Gruden for the Jets. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP and thanked Juan Soto. In the final segment of the hour, Jason Kelce ran into another moron looking for an autograph that was just a total turd (the autograph seeker). Hour 3 We started with audio from 2014 when Rex Ryan sat down with Andrea Kramer and said that Woody wanted him to be the head coach for 25 years, but you couldn't bring another GM to work with him. Hour 4 Malik Nabers said that Brian Daboll told him Tommy DeVito will get the ball right where it needs to be so he better be ready as soon as he makes the cut on his route. We expect the Bucs to blitz DeVito a lot. Sam Darnold will most likely be available next season. Jerry returns for his final update of the day, but first, Chuck Scarborough is stepping down after 50 years at WNBC. Jerry starts with the Browns beating the Steelers in the snow and Jameis Winston was so into it. Daniel Jones basically said goodbye to the Giants when he met the media. Sterling Shepard is looking forward to playing in MetLife again and seeing the Giants and the fans. Rex Ryan was on ESPN radio, pushing for the Jets job. The Moment of The Day: John Minko is at Baha Mar for St. John's, in his underwear. In the final segment of the week, our NFL picks!

Professional musician, song writer and former drummer for The Offspring - Pete Parada joins the show! Pete, after being with the band for 14 years, made international news when he was unceremoniously fired from The Offspring for not being vaccinated. Since then, he has started a new band called The Defiant who boast other high level musicians (like the former singer from the Mighty Mighty Boss Tones - Dicky Barrett - who was fired as the announcer for the Jimmy Kimmel Show for the same reasons). Ever wondered what it's like to be Santa Claus beyond the holiday season? In this episode of The Business Ownership Podcast - Christmas Special I interviewed Santa Ed Taylor. In 2013, Santa Ed became a Brand Ambassador for Hello Santa, a video visit app. As their Brand Ambassador, he made appearances on the Today Show, QVC, Tube-A-Thon, and many other TV and internet shows and events. His appearance with Rob Dyrdek on his MTV show "Ridiculousness" in 2013 put him on the map nationally as a Santa Claus actor. Appearing with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in a trailer for Daddy's Home 2 also helped. Booking national commercials for Kohl's, Band-Aid, Reddi Wip, Overstock, and Chrysler, and an award-winning regional commercial for Meijer's cemented it; Santa Ed was a bonafide Santa actor. In the Chrysler commercial, Santa Ed played a sales manager who looked an awful lot like Santa Claus. He gets recognized for that one often. Santa Ed loves it when someone asks, "Were you the Santa in that car commercial, the one wearing a tie?"Santa Ed has had many amazing experiences since then, such as appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, the Steve Harvey Show, Nickelodeon, and much more. He has also attended many celebrity and company parties, such as those for Facebook, Pinterest, JibJab, Nickelodeon, Mattel Toys, the Lakers, the Rams, and others. Santa Ed has been featured in TV shows, commercials, and even a music video with Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. In 2015, Santa Ed started a Santa School, now called the Worldwide Santa Claus Network. The school is the only one of its kind, offering online training to more than 5,300 Santas and Mrs. Clauses worldwide.Learn about the business of being Santa, the joy of spreading happiness, and how you too can don the red suit and make a difference.Check this out!North Pole Neighbors Website: https://north-pole-neighbors.com/Santa Ed Website: https://santaed.com/Worldwide Santa Claus Network Website: https://worldwide-santa-claus-network.com/That Santa Guy Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thatsantaguy/Book a call with Michelle: https://www.AwarenessStrategies.com/m30Join our Facebook group for business owners to get help or help other business owners! Want to know what Christopher Walken's favorite podcast is? You're in for a treat. In today's episode, Erin talks with impressionist and comedian Nick Smeriglio about his journey from corporate to comedy, how posting his impression of Sebastian Maniscalco on TikTok led to a phone call from Jimmy Kimmel, and the realization he came to about letting go of other people's opinions. If you're looking for some inspiration on taking that leap—whatever it is for you—this is the episode to listen to. More about Nick Smeriglio: Nick's career has taken off since his TikTok impression of Sebastian Maniscalco blew up the internet in September of 2020. He earned reviews from Maniscalco himself plus invaluable screen time when the fellow Arlington Heights native spotted Nick's video on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. In October 2021, Nick packed up, moved to New York, and started doing comedy at East Coast Comedy Clubs. Today, Nick is a comedian, impressionist, actor, digital content creator, and cast member on "I Mostly Blame Myself.” ICYMI – Your Post-Episode Homework: Leave a review for us on iTunes so we can continue to bring hilarious guests on like Nick, screenshot it and send Erin an email at info@learntoimprove it.com. Right off the bat, Jimmy Kimmel and Disney/ABC try to marginalize and make Mike Lindell seem like a silly character by interviewing him while inside a claw arcade game. Was this interview worth Mike's time? Was he able to discuss rigged elections? What happened? Here's most the interview and my play-by-play take on it. Please share your opinion down below.

On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show, we are joined by singer/songwriters Alyssa Trahan and Trey Calloway. Plus country music artists, Grace Maher, returns to guest cohost!!ALYSSA TRAHANA true jill-of-all-trades, Alyssa Trahan is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (she plays over a dozen), and producer. Growing up in the square mile town of East Rochester, NY, she began writing songs, producing and performing her original music as a young teen before she made the move to Nashville, TN in 2016. Alyssa has an authentically unique style that blends traditional country instrumentation with modern pop production, winning over fans of all genres. Her clever lyrics, impressive musicianship, and smooth vocals transcend across genre lines proving her to be multifaceted and a truly prolific writer. In addition to producing her own music, she has produced tracks for songwriters and artists around the world and earned her degree in Audio Engineering. Known for her energetic and engaging live shows, Trahan has shared the stage with the likes of Maddie & Tae, Randy Houser, Chase Rice, Charlie Daniels, Tanya Tucker, Sara Evans, Josh Turner, Runaway June, and dozens more plus made several festival appearances, including a few headlining spots. Her music has also been featured in many films, commercials, and TV shows including The Jimmy Kimmel Show and The Young and The Restless. Alyssa has released many artist projects independently and has built quite the following. She has over 250K followers on social media platforms, over 1 million streams and views on streaming platforms and YouTube plus a fast-growing and loyal fan base who named themselves the Trafam. It's no wonder her newest album, “Baby Blues & Stilettos”, debuted in the top ten on the iTunes Country Album Charts and received over 300K first week streams. This would be impressive for any independent artist, but is especially so considering Alyssa produced the album herself during the shutdown of 2020, is a writer on every song, and played over 90% of the instruments on the record. As American Songwriter put it, “It's not that Alyssa Trahan wants to take over country music. Just know that if it ever comes to that, Trahan is a woman who can literally run the show.”TREY CALLOWAY Trey Calloway is a singer-songwriter born and raised in North Carolina. The son of a preacher man, Trey grew up singing in church and was a seasoned performer by the age of 10. Although southern and contemporary gospel were his first musical loves, he was instantly mesmerized by the sounds of country music after hearing a Garth Brooks Greatest Hits album his parents bought for him. A deep understanding and passion for the rocking, boot stomping, country music of artists such as Garth, Clint Black, Alan Jackson, and Travis Tritt began to grow within him. Trey began writing songs, playing guitar, and performing in clubs at age 15. He knew early on without a shadow of a doubt that he would make music his career. Trey fronted multiple bands and won numerous awards in North Carolina before moving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2016. He formed The Trey Calloway Band and has been playing the eastern circuit and Nashville ever since. Trey recorded and released his debut Nashville album entitled Carolina Man and was able to work with some of his musical heroes including Brent Mason, Lonnie Wilson, and Buddy Hyatt on the Mike Rodgers produced album. Trey wrote all 12 songs on the album, including “Daddy From Day One” inspired by the birth of his son Cash. Trey was nominated as the Carolina Country Music Awards (CCMA) Male Artist of the Year in 2018, and one of the songs from Carolina Man, “Home is Where the Heart Is,” won the CCMA Song of the Year as well as Gospel Song of the Year. The title track to Trey's newest EP “Tire Tracks” is currently nominated for 2022 CCMA Song of the Year.

In today's episode, I open with an advertisement for the next Greatest Show on Earth, the Circus that is the January 6th Committee Hearings coming to you in prime time, baby! It's going to be the show where you have to leave your brain in the other room and get ready to swallow whatever it is they are going to shovel. Following the spectacular PSA for tonight's entertainment, Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY), describes tonight's events as the very circus it is intended to be. She points out House Democrats are not holding prime time hearings on the baby formula shortage, skyrocketing fuel prices, the rate of inflation, surging violent crime or the border crisis. Instead, they seem to be obsessed with going along with Lame Duck Speaker Nancy Pelosi's witch-hunt. Since we are on the subject of clowns, President Joe Biden beclowned himself last night by appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. While Kimmel opened by pretending he was going to ask “tough” questions, the fawning fan-boy did everything he could to try to keep the garbage fire from spreading. He took breaks, interrupted nonsensical ramblings and allowed total fabrications to go floating by. It was embarrassing and appalling. Democrats know they have a massive problem. They can try to “recast” the midterms to be about Roe v. Wade, gun control or the January 6 clown show, but when it comes to voting, most Americans vote their pocketbook. A brand new poll by left-of-center Quinnipiac University finds a massive shift from the Hispanic voters in our country. Since the 2018 midterms, that voting block has gone from 69% backing Democrats for the House of Representatives, to now just 38%. And the Real Clear Politics poll tracking favorability is the lowest it has ever been for Biden and the gap between approve and disapprove has never been wider. The RCP poll has the president with a 39.7% approval rating, down from 55% when he took office. Janet Yellen also adds to the clown show by first admitting she bungled her prediction about the rise of inflation and then testifying in the senate that we can get out of this by embracing more windmills and solar panels. She literally puts the blame on Russia and the future is to embrace green energy. So, I have to close with some inconvenient numbers and facts about what it will take to become 100% green. Beyond the sheer amount of metals (some toxic) that would need to be mined, the amount of land we would need to dedicate is equivalent to five South Dakotas! Imagine having to cut down, grade and pave over an amount of land equal to the area of South Dakota times five. This current strategy makes no sense, will only continue to hurt Americans and ruin our economy for a pipe dream. If they were serious, they would be demanding nuclear power plants, but for some reason, though a zero emission solution, never seems to be on the table. Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, GETTR and TRUTH Social by searching for The Alan Sanders Show. However, as a 3rd generations showbusiness professional, this Long Island native always knew that he wanted to pursue a career in music and theatre, learning to play piano, sax, flute, and guitar at a young age. Stephen first stepped on stage at the age of 5 by introducing his grandfather and singing an Irish duet. By the sixth grade, he was doing mock “Tonight Shows,” where a friend would play Johnny Carson, and the young Sorrentino would portray all the other guest stars on the show. Sorrentino was involved in musical theatre during high school and college and began musical composition, eventually landing a publishing deal with Famous Music /Paramount, signing recording contracts. At Paramount, he realized that his cousin was “The Boss” himself: Bruce Springsteen. After a subsequent record release, Sorrentino formed a groundbreaking tribute act, eventually touring 25 countries and 43 states, performing for Disney, Dick Clark, and Legends in Concert, making him the # 1 Elton John impersonator in the world. While performing in Atlantic City, Sorrentino was cast in his first of 21 film roles, as a Mafia boss/drag queen in the cult hit comedy, Homo Heights (a comedy), also stars literary and film icon Quentin Crisp and actress lea Delaria (Orange is the new Black) Following the film, he studied at The Second City, with Martin de Maat, one of the most respected teachers of improvisational theatre. Since then, Sorrentino has starred in several award-winning independent films for Showtime, sitcoms for FOX and NBC, and appearances on “America's Most Wanted,” “7 Days,” and “The Jimmy Kimmel Show.” After several appearances on “Hollywood Squares,” dozens of radio and TV talk shows, and more than 50 TV commercials, Sorrentino decided it was time to create his show, Voices in My Head. Voices features 14-cast members and has toured the United States, enjoyed successful runs at the Riviera and Paris hotels in Las Vegas, and Atlantic City's Tropicana, receiving rave reviews in every venue. Sorrentino has also appeared in the History Channel's “Only In America,” with Larry The Cable Guy, touring Europe to sell houses for six straight months. Sorrentino has received the distinguished honor of being named “Male Impressionist of the Year” by the International Guild of Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Acts (IGCITA) for three years in a row and won Best Actor in the 48-hour film competition for "The Industry." Recently, Sorrentino has broadened his horizons to return to his roots in musical theater and included a two-month run as Mr. Bumble in the Musical OLIVER and played five roles in ANNIE production with "All in the Family "star Sally Struthers.
