Boomer remains confident about Alonso joining the Mets and is excited about the potential lineup with Alonso and Juan Soto. Hour 2 Cam Newton said he wouldn't trade his MVP trophy for a Super Bowl trophy, which Boomer disagrees with. The show also discussed Justin Tucker's sexual harassment allegations, Patrick Mahomes and Saquon Barkley's Super Bowl aspirations, and Cam Newton's controversial comments about MVPs being better than Super Bowl championships. Hour 3 Boomer expects Pete Alonso to sign with the Mets today. He discussed hypothetical QB swaps and Jerry gave an update. Daniel Jones essentially said goodbye to Giants fans and Rex Ryan went on ESPN Radio and really, really wants the Jets job. We talked about what Rex would be like if he returned. Gio wouldn't do it as he thinks it feels pathetic to go back to when you last felt good about the team. Boomer said there are going to be 6 head coaching jobs open and Boomer expects Rob Saleh to get some interviews. Boomer would consider re-hiring Rex, but he wants to see who the other candidates are. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in the snow. Daniel Jones read a prepared statement to the press expressing his gratitude. Jerry has audio of Rex Ryan saying he's ‘all about the Jets' and ‘nobody's better than me'. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP. We talk about past B&G Live events as we get ready for our show at the Paramount tonight.

We talk about past B&G Live events as we get ready for our show at the Paramount tonight. Hour 2 News 12 Long Island did a piece on the live show we're doing tonight at the Paramount. We got into the Daniel Jones situation. He met the media yesterday and read a prepared piece where he was thanking the fans and the Giants for the opportunity. He did get emotional, which we've never seen before from him. We talked about the frustration Brian Daboll was clearly feeling in some of these games because of Jones' play. We talked about the NFL draft and who the Giants could get at quarterback. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in a ‘Winter Wonderland in Cleveland'. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones talking about not playing well enough and understanding why the Giants made the move. Gronk wants Jon Gruden for the Jets. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP and thanked Juan Soto. In the final segment of the hour, Jason Kelce ran into another moron looking for an autograph that was just a total turd (the autograph seeker). Hour 3 We started with audio from 2014 when Rex Ryan sat down with Andrea Kramer and said that Woody wanted him to be the head coach for 25 years, but you couldn't bring another GM to work with him. As far as Jon Gruden goes, it seems like there will be other teams interested in him, so he will not go to the Jets. Gio called the Jets, a ‘cesspool of an organization'. Boomer disagreed with that. Dr. Joe calls in. He's the guy who told us back in June that Dave Sims was getting the Yankees job. He said Suzyn Waldman threw the name out there. He called back to apologize to, I think, Suzyn. He said she has cut him out of her life. Jerry returns for an update and has the audio from the moron harassing Jason Kelce as he was leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Chad Ochocinco couldn't believe how boring the NFL has been until the 4th quarter hits. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones reading his statement on how things have gone with the Giants. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the farce that was the Tyson/Paul fight. Hour 4 Malik Nabers said that Brian Daboll told him Tommy DeVito will get the ball right where it needs to be so he better be ready as soon as he makes the cut on his route. We expect the Bucs to blitz DeVito a lot. Sam Darnold will most likely be available next season. Jerry returns for his final update of the day, but first, Chuck Scarborough is stepping down after 50 years at WNBC. Jerry starts with the Browns beating the Steelers in the snow and Jameis Winston was so into it. Daniel Jones basically said goodbye to the Giants when he met the media. Sterling Shepard is looking forward to playing in MetLife again and seeing the Giants and the fans. Rex Ryan was on ESPN radio, pushing for the Jets job. The Moment of The Day: John Minko is at Baha Mar for St. John's, in his underwear. In the final segment of the week, our NFL picks!
Kirk, Dave and Whitney are back as Dave announces that Surviving Barstool will premiere on Cyber Monday. Jon Gruden is now an employee of Barstool Sports and Dave takes us through the process of how it happened (0:45). Kirk thinks Dave should have let Jersey Jerry go on Mr.Beast after finding out Brianna Chickenfry won $250,000 from a Mr.Beast video (10:00). Kirk is a little tired of the Chickenfry/Zach Bryan feud, thinks Dave forced himself into the situation (15:30). Biz has the most complicated breakfast order of all time (28:00). Jon Gruden reminds Kirk and Whitney of Stu Feiner (41:00). Kirk shoehorns Mut into the show (43:45). Dave won't say if he's involved with Michigan's $10.5 million offer to a 5 star QB recruit (46:00). Dave is off BFF's at the end of the year (47:30). Dave would accept the job of White House Press Secretary if offered (49:45).You can find every episode of this show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or YouTube. Pat McAfee claims he turned down interviews with both Trump and Harris. Boomer thinks he just didn't want to get involved with politics and just wants to do sports. Boomer thinks maybe there were interview parameters that he wouldn't agree to. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Chiefs improving to 8-0 by beating the Bucs in OT. Adam Schein declared the Dallas Cowboys dead. Micah Parsons said the Giants are stupid for getting rid of Saquon Barkley. Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly talked about how sloppy the Yankees were in the field. He said the Yankees should have been ranked eighth in the playoffs. Hour 1 The Chiefs improved to 8-0 by beating the Bucs. Patrick Mahomes injured his ankle but stayed in the game. We talked about the potential of the Chiefs going undefeated. Gio thinks the Giants would be a much better team if Baker Mayfield was teamed with Brian Daboll. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and has the call as the Chiefs beat the Bucs in OT. Mahomes talked about Andy Reid wanting to take him out of the game because of his ankle but he wouldn't let that happen. Todd Bowles talked about kicking the extra point to tie instead of going for 2 to win it. Brian Daboll was asked if Daniel Jones is still the starting QB (he is). Gerrit Cole is staying with the Yankees at the exact same deal he had, even though he opted out. Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly said the Yankees were a mismatch from the get go and they're lazy. The Knicks lost to the Rockets in Houston. In the final segment of the hour, Tom Brady is getting a lot of criticism again for his broadcasting. Skip Bayless called him ‘the Daniel Jones of broadcasting'. Mark Sanchez called Daniel Jones ‘the snowman' and it confused the staff of Evan & Tiki. Hour 2 Gio thinks it's funny when players on bad teams criticize other teams. He's talking specifically about Micah Parsons saying the Giants are stupid because they let Saquon Barkley go. Saquon being on the Giants would not make them better than they are right now. They would still be 2-7. The Cowboys play the Eagles and will be without Dak Prescott. The Jets are going to need a head coach and the top candidates want nothing to do with Woody Johnson. Because of that, Gio said they should go out and get Jon Gruden. Jerry returns for an update, but first we talked more about Jon Gruden and the Jets. Jerry suggested the Jets reuniting Rodgers with Mike McCarthy. We heard Kevin Harlan on the call as the Chiefs won in OT to go 8-0. Jason Kelce talked about his viral episode saying he ‘greeted hate with hate' by smashing that dude's phone and he wished he didn't do that. In the final segment of the hour, a caller sat behind Peter Schwartz at the St. John's game. Another caller thinks Jon Gruden got the shaft from the NFL. Hour 3 We start the hour with calls. One thinks Jerry Jones is spending too much time with the NFL and not enough time on the Dallas Cowboys. We talked more about Jason Kelce smashing that dude's phone. Pat McAfee claims he turned down interviews with both Trump and Harris. Boomer thinks he just didn't want to get involved with politics and just wants to do sports. Dodgers pitcher Joe Kelly talked about how sloppy the Yankees were in the field. He said the Yankees should have been ranked eighth in the playoffs. In the final segment of the hour, Stu Feiner calls in. Hour 4 In discussing Juan Soto free agency, we looked at some of the other huge deals and whether they've been worth it or not. The Bryce Harper contract seems like nothing today. Jerry returned for his final update of the day but first we talked about producing at WFAN when you would play ‘hotel bingo' to try to get players on. Jerry has audio of Dave Roberts and his fear of the Yankees winning and having to go back to Los Angeles. David Stearns met the media and will not spend just to spend, it has to be right for the team. The Chiefs improved to 8-0 by beating the Bucs in OT. Joe Buck talked about having to be early to be on time for Troy Aikman. The Moment of The Day: Boomer says ‘Buc-ca-neers'. In the final segment of the hour, how long will we stay up watching election results? Who's going to be the Cowboys coach next season? Bill Belichick? Gio's Minnesota Vikings took JJ McCarthy, a guy Gio doesn't think will make it in the NFL. Boomer loved Bill Belichick's appearance on Pat McAfee in regards to the draft. Boomer likes the Giants picking WR Malik Nabers. Boomer also thinks Daniel Jones was a big winner last night with the Giants not picking a quarterback. Kirk Cousins is supposedly angry with the Falcons taking Michael Penix instead of a player to help his offense this season. Gio thinks it's time for him to stop being a Vikings fan. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of last night's Knicks loss in Philly. Joel Embiid scored 50, but could have been thrown out for his flagrant foul on Mitchell Robinson. Bill Belichick seems to like Malik Nabers. Aaron Rodgers talked about the Jets pick, Olu Fashanu. In the final segment of the hour, Gio went to the Islanders last night and ran into Julie Stewart-Binks. He remembers her crapping on the Islanders in the past and there she was in an Islanders jersey in the owner's box last night. He also ran into Stu Feiner from Barstool.

He remembers her crapping on the Islanders in the past and there she was in an Islanders jersey in the owner's box last night. He also ran into Stu Feiner from Barstool. Hour 2 Boomer did not like that Joel Embiid was not given a flagrant 2 when he pulled down Mitchell Robinson. Gio doesn't think the Sixers will win another game in the series. Can Embiid keep up his 50 point performance? Gio said Knicks in five. He said the Sixers are babies, dirty and wuss bags. We also talked about Boomer & Gio live next Friday in Jersey City. We're worried Boomer will get physical with Spike Eskin because of the Sixers and Spike recently had a hip replacement. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Malik Nabers talking about being picked by the Giants. Rob Saleh talked about drafting Olu Fashanu. The Knicks lost in Philly and Jerry has all of the postgame sound. Jalen Brunson scored 39 in the Knicks loss. Hour 3 If Aaron Rodgers is healthy, they should be the best team in the AFC East. Boomer loved watching Bill Belichick with Pat McAfee last night. He loves Malik Nabers. But what if the Giants don't win this year? They passed on another quarterback in the draft and Bill Belichick will be available to be the head coach. Where can we expect the Giants to fall in the NFC East? Gio said third. Jerry returns for an update and starts with how huge the crowd was for the draft in Detroit. The Falcons drafted Michael Penix for the future, even though they got Kirk Cousins in the offseason. Boomer said it makes complete sense to him. In the final segment of the hour, we get game three of Rangers/Capitals tonight. Gio said the Capitals are dead. A caller said Sal took a shot at Boomer at the end of yesterday's show. Hour 4 Boomer is getting more annoyed at Joel Embiid the more video he sees of him on the court. Embiid crossed the line but he knew they weren't throwing him out of a playoff game at home. Gio said there is no way he's getting away with that in game four. Jerry returns for his final update of the morning and starts with the Knicks losing in Philly last night. Embiid played dirty and poured in 50 points. Malik Nabers is going to come in and ‘be a dog' for the Giants. The Falcons drafted Michael Penix even though they have Kirk Cousins and Boomer thinks it was a smart move. JD Martinez is finally going to be in the lineup tonight. The Islanders are now in a 3-0 hole after losing again last night. The Moment of The Day involves Gio not being thrilled with the Vikings drafting JJ McCarthy. A caller said he's getting married and Gio gives him a piece of advice.

Recorded: January 24th 2024 | In this week's episode we are joined by the man, the myth, the legend, Stu Feiner. He blessed us with his presence on Slips & Picks and following that, he hopped on the bus to chat with the boys. This whole pod really feels like story time Uncle Stu. The guys immediately get into it and start all the way from the beginning. Stu gives his life story from where he grew up, the struggles he had as a kid by getting bullied in school and the tough home life he had with his family. He gets into some crazy stories from his childhood and it seemed like he had some wild story from each grade growing up. Following his childhood, he dives into how he got into the sports gambling world and became the biggest sports picker in the country. Stu talks about why he decided he wanted to get into the gambling world and all of the different roadblocks that he ran into on his way to the top. He talks about how many lucky breaks he has had but also gets into the massive unlucky breaks he had, some including missing out on 10's of millions of dollars. As he is telling these stories from back in the day, you can't help but visualize everything that is happening and it almost makes it feel like he was a part of an old gangster/mafia movie. Some of the stories he gets into just seem unbelievable but they are most certainly true. Finally the guys get into the movie that was made about Stu "Two For The Money". He talks about the backstory in that movie getting made and how never saw anything from the movie, he wasn't even allowed to be at the premiere of the movie. After this interview, you can't help but think Stu is one of the most interesting people alive.
