Charlotte got SNOW and someone is having a big day!
All Aaron wants for Christmas is for his brother, Casey, to get over his ex, Raquel. He'd prefer not to be at Winter Wonderland, the island north of Alaska that's home to a year-round Christmas theme park. But Casey loves Christmas, so here they are. Unfortunately for Aaron, Casey's determined to do anything to win Raquel back. All Kris wants for Christmas is for his uncle to move back to Winter Wonderland to be the first gay Santa. To make that happen Kris needs to win the Race, his grade's annual competition to see who can get a guest to fall in love with them first. Winning means a trip to New York, where Kris would be able to plead his uncle's case to the founder of Winter Wonderland himself. After some slippery ice sends Aaron and Kris literally flopping into each other, Kris agrees to help Aaron with his plan to keep Casey single. But in all their scheming, both can't stop thinking about kissing the other, and it's not just because of the mistletoe around every corner. Too bad true love isn't on either of their Christmas lists. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

They reflect on Jesus's crucifixion and Stephen's martyrdom, emphasizing their acts of forgiveness towards those who wronged them. The conversation elaborates on the barriers to forgiving others, the personal and spiritual benefits of releasing resentment, and encourages listeners to self-examine and take steps towards forgiveness to flourish in the coming year.Chapters00:00 Winter Wonderland on the River00:52 Reflecting on New Year's Resolutions01:55 The Example of Jesus' Forgiveness08:33 Stephen's Martyrdom and Forgiveness12:40 Applying Forgiveness in Our Lives16:12 The Power of Forgiveness: Stephen's Example17:07 Barriers to Forgiveness18:03 The Impact of Unforgiveness18:45 Personal Stories of Forgiveness19:33 The Command to Forgive21:38 Living a Flourishing Life22:53 Practical Steps to Forgiveness27:01 Final Thoughts and EncouragementBe sure to check out my latest book, Hope Is the First Dose!Sign up for my weekly Self-Brain Surgery Newsletter here! Our featured partner for this episode is Adapt Naturals:As we enter the winter season, staying healthy is more important than ever. JLR recalls the most memorable moments of 2024. An incident happened during the Christmas Craptacular. Charlie drove Jeffrey and the family to his colonoscopy appointment. Has anyone talked to Dieter? Jeffrey was out with another woman on New Year's Eve. Rover went to London for Winter Wonderland over break. Should a therapist be typing up their session notes while sitting at an airport bar? Does the show have New Year's resolutions? Who won the DraftKings bets? Charlie had to go to court over the holiday. Has Skinny told Krystle he loves her? Snitzer celebrated his birthday at Disney World.

Hello and Happy Holidays. This week's show is an early shot at some holiday music to help get you through the holidays. We all put our two cents in and came up with this awesome holiday songs. The fun of this playlist is the music comes from the parks and the shows we've all seen growing up. It's not the normal stuff you hear this time of year and as Disney nerds, the stuff from the parks and the parades is icing on the cake. Here is who we have: 1. Sleigh Ride w/ Mickey and gang, 2. Miley/Hannah and Rockin Around the Xmas Tree, 3. Goofy and his Blue Xmas, 4. Beyonce and Silent Night from the MK, 5. From All of Us to You 1958, 6. Jack and What's This, 7. Your Fav Princesses and I'm Giving Love for Xmas, 8. Roger Rabbit and the March of the Wooden Soldiers, 9. 'Zat You, Sant Claus by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, 10. Winter Wonderland, 11. Carol Lawerence and the Epcot Hanukkah Celebration, 12. Ringing of the Bells with the Muppets, 13. The Jonas Brothers with Girl of My Dreams (Their Xmas Song), 14. Have Yourself a Merry Little Xmas by Kermit. We hope you enjoy! Happy Holidays everyone.
What a bright time, it's the right time, for Baconsale to discuss Christmas music again. It seems that every classic holiday song has been covered hundreds of times, but on this episode, Joel, Kent, and Zack have whittled that down to three popular versions of 25 iconic songs, including "Jingle Bell Rock," "Let It Snow," "O Holy Night," "Sleigh Ride," “Here Comes Santa Claus,” and "Winter Wonderland." We're going to debate each tree-o of tunes and decide which one should be the default on your smart speaker. We'll also talk in parentheses, break some triple ties, and bare some bias about Bing and Bublé. Beware of Big Gulps making mouth sounds after you press play. You can also find the Spotify playlist of all the Christmas cover song candidates we bring up on this episode at Baconsale.com.

Ever been in your local bookstore and thought -- I wish this place was the setting of a romance novel? We've got you, friends. We talk about the magic of bookstores, about the importance of small businesses, about bookshops as sites for revolution, and about the appeal of running your own little shop around the corner. Hour 1 Daniel Jones essentially said goodbye to Giants fans and Rex Ryan went on ESPN Radio and really, really wants the Jets job. We talked about what Rex would be like if he returned. Gio wouldn't do it as he thinks it feels pathetic to go back to when you last felt good about the team. Boomer said there are going to be 6 head coaching jobs open and Boomer expects Rob Saleh to get some interviews. Boomer would consider re-hiring Rex, but he wants to see who the other candidates are. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in the snow. Daniel Jones read a prepared statement to the press expressing his gratitude. Jerry has audio of Rex Ryan saying he's ‘all about the Jets' and ‘nobody's better than me'. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP. In the final segment of the hour, Stu Feiner wants to wear the ball-hammock underwear on stage with nothing else on. We declined. We talk about past B&G Live events as we get ready for our show at the Paramount tonight. Hour 2 News 12 Long Island did a piece on the live show we're doing tonight at the Paramount. We got into the Daniel Jones situation. He met the media yesterday and read a prepared piece where he was thanking the fans and the Giants for the opportunity. He did get emotional, which we've never seen before from him. We talked about the frustration Brian Daboll was clearly feeling in some of these games because of Jones' play. We talked about the NFL draft and who the Giants could get at quarterback. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Browns beating the Steelers in a ‘Winter Wonderland in Cleveland'. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones talking about not playing well enough and understanding why the Giants made the move. Gronk wants Jon Gruden for the Jets. Aaron Judge won the A.L. MVP and thanked Juan Soto. In the final segment of the hour, Jason Kelce ran into another moron looking for an autograph that was just a total turd (the autograph seeker). Hour 3 We started with audio from 2014 when Rex Ryan sat down with Andrea Kramer and said that Woody wanted him to be the head coach for 25 years, but you couldn't bring another GM to work with him. As far as Jon Gruden goes, it seems like there will be other teams interested in him, so he will not go to the Jets. Gio called the Jets, a ‘cesspool of an organization'. Boomer disagreed with that. Dr. Joe calls in. He's the guy who told us back in June that Dave Sims was getting the Yankees job. He said Suzyn Waldman threw the name out there. He called back to apologize to, I think, Suzyn. He said she has cut him out of her life. Jerry returns for an update and has the audio from the moron harassing Jason Kelce as he was leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Chad Ochocinco couldn't believe how boring the NFL has been until the 4th quarter hits. Jerry has audio of Daniel Jones reading his statement on how things have gone with the Giants. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the farce that was the Tyson/Paul fight. Hour 4 Malik Nabers said that Brian Daboll told him Tommy DeVito will get the ball right where it needs to be so he better be ready as soon as he makes the cut on his route. We expect the Bucs to blitz DeVito a lot. Sam Darnold will most likely be available next season. Jerry returns for his final update of the day, but first, Chuck Scarborough is stepping down after 50 years at WNBC. Jerry starts with the Browns beating the Steelers in the snow and Jameis Winston was so into it. Daniel Jones basically said goodbye to the Giants when he met the media. Sterling Shepard is looking forward to playing in MetLife again and seeing the Giants and the fans. Rex Ryan was on ESPN radio, pushing for the Jets job. The Moment of The Day: John Minko is at Baha Mar for St. John's, in his underwear. In the final segment of the week, our NFL picks!
