Detective Haartte gets into the act. Detective Haartte takes a night off to enjoy a live musical production. But he should have known better than to think that trouble ever takes a holiday. It's a fanabibly late release (we're owning it), but your favorite chaotic duo is back and this time, it's live and in person! Rheannon and Tamara brave the wild outdoors together for a hike that starts off wholesome and ends up... well, let's just say there may have been a missing dog incident. (Spoiler: we blame Tamara.)Expect non-stop laughs as Rheannon's family does their best to keep Auntie Tamara from losing her mind or the family pet. Between dodging disaster, hiking misadventures, and the kind of unfiltered joy only a Downhill Fast reunion can bring, this episode delivers it all. Grab your earbuds, hydrate, and prepare for the chaos.

It's been a day or two since we did a Mo Willems book on the podcast (and you can believe I'm counting down the days until one of those Elephant & Piggie books turns 20). What absolutely kills me is that we did today's title in complete ignorance of the fact that it was recently adapted into an incredible looking stage production in D.C. with a Chicago-based theater company.... which just closed. Doggone it. This book is interesting for a number of reasons. First off, Mo Willems had already done a Pigeon book (square) and a Knuffle Bunny book (horizontal), but this marked his first vertical book. We discuss our future picture book Steampunk Monster, how Sam's got sass, baby Wild Things, and more.
