Dyllan Russell is the one and only "Sauce Daddy". Born and raised in Atlanta he learned his way around the family garden and kitchen from his Guaynese mother. Peppers and hot sauce were included in every meal. During the pandemic, Dyllan began growing herbs and vegetables in his own garden with well over 600 habanero peppers yielding from one bus. In determining what to do with all of those peppers, the Sauce Daddy brand was born. Lime and Basil are the key ingredients to the company's flagship brand, which can now be found on many store's shelves in the huntsville area along with raving endorsements from restaurant owners. Sauce Daddy is making waves and you will enjoy meeting the founder and hearing his insights during this episode. Sorry about the schedule slippage, but we've got just the home remedy. It's the perfect mixture of a season finale and a the return of a longtime guest! That's right, Dyllan has returned to help us wrap up our season by chatting all about Buffalo Dreams. A film none of us really wanted to touch, but here we are. So why don't you journey along with us to weigh-in on the vicious land feud between some white mountain bikers and the Native Americans whose land these “dirtheads” continually trespass on. Luckily, I think that if history any indication, this thing will work out with no issues on either side. Luke shares the younger sibling experience and pays for a character's actions. Emma can't stand Scout's muteness and shares her weight loss secrets. Dyllan meets his old nemesis once again. On this episode, Weston welcomes Harvest Church's Junior High Director, Dyllan Avery-Smith, onto the podcast. This week Dyllan and Weston discuss the words "Christian" and "Christ-follower" and how they resonate differently with people.
It's no secret that governments around the world are struggling to come up with effective policies to address the risks and opportunities that AI presents. And there are many reasons why that's happening: many people — including technical people — think they understand what frontier AI looks like, but very few actually do, and even fewer are interested in applying their understanding in a government context, where salaries are low and stock compensation doesn't even exist. So there's a critical policy-technical gap that needs bridging, and failing to address that gap isn't really an option: it would mean flying blind through the most important test of technological governance the world has ever faced. Unfortunately, policymakers have had to move ahead with regulating and legislating with that dangerous knowledge gap in place, and the result has been less-than-stellar: widely criticized definitions of privacy and explainability, and definitions of AI that create exploitable loopholes are among some of the more concerning results. Enter Gillian Hadfield, a Professor of Law and Professor of Strategic Management and Director of the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. Gillian's background is in law and economics, which has led her to AI policy, and definitional problems with recent and emerging regulations on AI and privacy. But — as I discovered during the podcast — she also happens to be related to Dyllan Hadfield-Menell, an AI alignment researcher whom we've had on the show before. Partly through Dyllan, Gillian has also been exploring how principles of AI alignment research can be applied to AI policy, and to contract law. Gillian joined me to talk about all that and more on this episode of the podcast. --- Intro music: - Artist: Ron Gelinas - Track Title: Daybreak Chill Blend (original mix) - Link to Track: https://youtu.be/d8Y2sKIgFWc --- Chapters: 1:35 Gillian's background 8:44 Layers and governments' legislation 13:45 Explanations and justifications 17:30 Explainable humans 24:40 Goodhart's Law 29:10 Bringing in AI alignment 38:00 GDPR 42:00 Involving technical folks 49:20 Wrap-up

Hey kids, as y'all know it has been my mission to try and get out there and talk to different people about their lives and experiences. This week (as much as I really want to use the voice-over in my head that goes "on a very special episode of Blossom"), I sat down with an amazing guest and friend Dyllan who shares what it's like to live life as a Gay man with #CerebralPalsy. Some of this conversation may be difficult to understand, as his speech may not be as clear as you would be used to hearing. And I did try to paraphrase most of his comments afterwards... But I also wanted it to sound as authentic as possible, so I've left most of the conversation intact, with minimal editing, so you can hear it as we intended it. With that being said, you may also find some of this difficult to HEAR. And you should. Dyllan going thru some of his experiences dealing with the Gay World even had me #triggered. There was a point in this podcast where it was even too much for me to handle, and I totally had a meltdown... Which I also left in, because you should be able to feel your feelings and express them. Even when they're ugly, and spiteful. And in a true show of grace, it was Dyllan that comforted me through my moment... telling me that it's really okay. This conversation was a wake up call for me, where I realized I need to do better. To BE better. To not judge people solely on the way they portray themselves to the world, but only until I get to know them. Or if their wearing a terrible outfit... That's still totally allowed. Now, with all that said... Please enjoy my amazing sit down with Dyllan!! #loveandlight, Bitches!

Ah, superheroes. What’s not to love? People with amazing abilities and cool costumes acting selflessly to help their fellow man. It’s perfect! So certainly, Disney Channel’s own superhero movie Up, Up, and Away! will be a slam dunk! What’s that? The superheroes have no urgency to help people, the budget is so low they can’t really show cool powers, and the costumes are so bad it hurts the eyes? Well, uh, with any luck an under-aged superhero will be around to electroshock the bad memories of this film from my brain and just leave the stuff we thought was fun. Like the foil thing! That was fun, right? Or was it a cheap workaround? Hmmmm….Luke settles a score and finds a mortal enemy. Emma calls out a bad boyfriend and makes a quick exit. Dyllan just wants to talk about Entourage.Talking Points: The Incredible Sky High, Wolf Children, An Excessive National Treasure Tangent, Sound Design Disaster, Super Incorrect Ages, Superfoods, A Reverse Get Out, A Totally Informed Romance, School of No Concerns, Evil Attire, Costume Fails, Nonchalant Bank Robbery, The Fourteenth Year, THE FLYING DOOR, Everyone Becomes an Idiot, Nina The Gullible Genius, Unplanned Skydiving, The Costumes Fail Even Harder, Everyone Is Useless, That’s Not How Masks Work, The Cool Worm, Geriatric Heroics, The Most Obvious Trap, Just Close Your Eyes!, A Pointless Ruse, Horny for Removing Memories

Dyllan is a dreamweaver and Tung is amazed. In this episode, we begin to conceptualize our recent recordings.
After a brief delay, our Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board episode has made it’s way down the mountain! Good thing dirt-boarding isn’t a racing sport. Or is it? Dyllan joins us once again as we cover the more land-based sequel to the even more classic Johnny Tsunami. Honestly, it’s a movie just as zig-zaggy as riding a board down a mountain.Lucas has terrible hearing and writes Johnny Tsunami fan-fiction.Emma thought this sport was fake and freaks out about her bed.Dyllan forgot to turn off his air conditioning so his audio sounds weird sometimes.Talking Points: Missing Conflicts, Ridiculous Recasting, Surfing for Bikinis, The Incredibly Dangerous Dirt-boarding, Super Relevant Rocket Power References, Age Issues, JTA’s Three Strikes, A Mature Main Character, Surf-shop/Pray/Love, Everything Happens on the Same Day, Amazing Bully Names, The Trouble With Troy, Val and the Rushed Romance, Business Management, Never Trust Troy, Boarding on the Barge, SHAKY CAM, Johnny the G, Val: Knows What She Wants, Troy’s Commune, Mystery Business Man, Math Whiz, Cops on Parole, Johnny Falls for This, Jared Wants a Child to Die, Groms, Children Rebuild a Store, Sports Finally Happen, An Actual Arrest
Dyllan recorded his first guitar solo in a cabin from the Hills Have Eyes movie. Tung doesn't like melted ice cream. For more information, check out hauntinghands.com

Peter Kowald & Tatsuya Nakatani - Definition 11 A textbook recording from Quakebasket record label. The track, taken from the album, "13 Definitions Of Truth", is much like any other Nakatani collaboration with a single horn player. The beauty is, everything he does is champion material. Every note Nakatani plays and bends out of shape can never be fully recreated to perfect duplication. 2. Lumisokea - Jenseits Dub Released on a double cassette called 'Contemporary Dance' from the infamous Opal Tapes. Tons of goodies on the compilation including this track - metallic flys buzzing past your ear while the war horns echo from the hidden valley. 3. Forgotten Corner & Khidja - Tatooine Moons (Cassini Division Remix) A beautiful collaboration between Forgotten Corner and Khidja with a mystic twist by Cassini Division - forged in dark caverns wielded through ancient temples. 4. A Strange Wedding - Cosmic Bastringue Chuggy Sluggy. Downtempo coming out of France. 5. Soft Rocks - Thunder Thunder (Spectral Empire Remix) Spectral Empire runs the remix on the Soft Rock Brighton Boy's track. Running through the cosmically composed jungle. There are even some lion field recordings in there - watch out Attenborough! 6. Asha Mirr - Blue Love One of my recent obsessions. I came across Asha Mirr recently - instantly blown away and always include her tracks in my sets. Massively underrated and relatively unknown for the calibre of production. Feels like it's always on the very verge of disintegrating into complete chaos yet never ventures into truly harsh territory which I enjoyed. Thought provoking and impossible to pin down, It's boundary-expanding and unsettling. 7. Asha Mirr - Killers Again, another 'killer' track from Mirr. 8. J-ZBEL - Nik Molina Deconstructed breakbeat with holistic sounds of worship. J-zbel guys are the weirdest, nicest people you'll never meet. 9. Fleck E.S.C - Nice Guy (Pip Williams RMX) FLECK is one of my fav's at the moment for gritty, sleazy electro. This one is remixed by Pip Williams - harsh wind samples, followed with an unapologetic bassline and claps. 10. Carl Finlow - Hashtag (Fleck E.S.C Remix) Another gritty electro track, this time remixed by Fleck. Mad scientist vocals with undertones of bleepy bubbles. 11. Sematic4 - Dream Creator Been digging this one a lot lately. Coming from Dalmata Danie, Sematic4 and DJ Overdose join forces putting our three tracks each on the release. Full of dirty breaks - everything you'd expect from Overdose and old-school legend Sematic4. 12. The Mover - Underwater Operations What a build up track this one is! It creeps up on your a like a communist submarine - firing off torpedos into your nervous system! This one is pretty mellow given The Movers history. One for a building until threat level midnight. 13. The B-52's - Rock Lobster Ah. Rock Lobster. What an oddball wonky track, eh? Impossible not to bubble your head to the rift. I've always wanted to lay this down in a club, hopefully, will get the chance one day! ROCK LOBSTER! https://shockworldservice.bandcamp.com/ http://www.shockworldservice.com/
