Denk maar aan titels zoals 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank, We Can Never Go Home, en natuurlijk What's the Furthest Place from Here.

Greetings from the CDB Crew (on The Satellite of Love)! This week, Carrie chose for all of us to read Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Comic by (deep breath) Joel Hodgson, Harold Buchholz, Matt McGinnis, Seth Robinson, Sharyl Volpe, Mary Robinson, Todd Nuack, Wes Dzioba, Mike Manley, Jack Pollock, Mimi Simon, and Michael Heisler, published by Dark Horse comics. Though everyone on the panel might not have fully enjoyed this adaptation, they all definitely agreed on how awesome the Crow-Keeper was and how he needs to be in more things very soon. This was a very interesting episode audibly, as well. Brian and Carrie's dog was in a very needy mood and you can here him whining in the background, here and there, throughout the recording. Also, stick around after the credits for old timey phone and fire alarm shenanigans! DIY Corner this week is a new comic by Jeremy Holt on Tapas and tribute to British Girls comics from the 1960s. Other comics discussed on this issue: What's the Furthest Place from Here? by Matthew Rosenberg, Tyler Boss, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou (Image); Chicken Devil #1 by Brian Buccellato, Hayden Sherman and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou (Aftershock); Hooky by Miriam Bonastre Tur (WebToon); and Puu (பூ ) by Nabi (Tapas). In this week's episode of Off Panel, writer Matthew Rosenberg joins to chat about his upcoming Image series What's the Furthest Place from Here? Rosenberg discusses this busy stretch, the development of that series, world-building, the gangs from the book, Tyler Boss' art, Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou's lettering, the value of variants, the deluxe editions of the series, putting vinyl records together, the promotional side of comics, and more.
Thanks to iFanboy Patrons, it's Talksplode time. Finally. Yes, I know. Matthew Rosenberg is back on the show to talk about his new Image book, What's the Furthest Place from Here?, with co-creator Tyler Boss, with whom he also did 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank. He's rolling out a whole project with special vinyl records that you can only get in comic shops, and it's worth looking into. We also touch on the stellar King in Black: Thunderbolts mini-series he did with Juan Ferreyra, and The Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox, both fun, and very different types of comics.
