Priest was nominated for an Eisner for last year's epic Sci-Fi Superman story . The Man Of Steel seems to have only been gone for moments when in fact he's flung to the other side of the galaxy for a ten year odyssey. The experience has left Superman detateched and alienated from Lois.
Próximo programa: Masters of the Universe - Revolution.

Rocky from Comic Boom! and Jace break down the DC Comics titles for the week of September 12, 2023. In anticipation of Batman day on the 16th we have Batman and Robin #1 and Batman Gargoyle of Gotham. Plus Batman Inc comes to a series conclusion. Also the latest issue of Danger Street is a bit of a departure from what has come before, while Superman Lost is much more predictable but no less enjoyable because of that.
It's still hot out there, so let's have our annual Summer Spectacular, right before Labor Day! Shane, Chris, Murd and Ian start off with some strike related delays for Dune 2, and then all but Murd give their non-spoiler thoughts on Blue Beetle. Discussion then deviates to Ian's review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, followed by a post-season finale breakdown of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Comics discussed include Shane checking out Image's big surprise, Void Rivals, as well as the new Green Arrow and Green Lantern, and Superman: Space Age. Ian tackles Mark Waid and Bryan Hitch's Superman: The Last Days of Lex Luthor, Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent 1-6, and issue 2 of Ultimate Invasion. Jace and Rocky break down the books from DC Comics for the week of June 13, 2023. Jace goes in a bit of a rant about DC events and Rocky talks about the title that just isn't doing it for him. Overall though, it is a strong week with many contenders for Books of the Week, Superman Lost, Static team-up, Batman Incorporated and Spirit World all got some consideration. So what did the guys choose? Listen in to find out.
We had hoped to get the audio episode of our livestream on this past Star Wars Day (5/4/2023) out to you a bit earlier than we have but here it is! Bill Z, Caleb and Steve gather round the mic for another new CBB confab! Since we have something else Star Wars specific in the planning stages, we don't spend too much time in a galaxy far, far away but journey long enough around the Outer Rim to discuss the recent High Republic comics! On top of that Superman: Lost, more Sins of Sinister, Hellcat, Jeff Lemire's Phantom Road and Betty and Veronica: Friends Forever - Rock and Roll also get their own spotlights during our roundtable! Plus news, gets, woofs and much more!
