Adina soba temelji na kratki zgodbi Herr Gröttrup setzt sich hin, kar bi lahko prevedli kot "G. Gröttrup se usede", za katero je prejela prestižno nagrado Ingeborg Bachmann. Dodua Otoo v svojem pisanju prepleta magični realizem, afrofuturizem, vprašanja identitete, odnosov in opolnomočenja: štirje liki so med seboj neločljivo povezani skozi prostor in čas, zgodbo pa poleg njih pripovedujejo tudi predmeti, ki jih obdajajo: metla, tolkalo, soba, potni list. Adina soba je v prevodu Sare Virk ob Festivalu Fabula, literature sveta, izšla tudi v slovenščini. S pisateljico se je pogovarjala Tina Poglajen. Bralka Mateja Perpar, ton in montaža Gašper Loborec.

The concept of another Spider-Man was nothing new in 2011. Yet the medium paused for a moment when Marvel introduced a young afro-latino from Brooklyn as the new Ultimate Spider-Man.
