**WARNING: This episode contains details involving suicide and suicidal ideation and may be disturbing and triggering for some listeners. If you are struggling, you aren't alone. Dial 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline** On the morning of January 25, 2018, the lifeless body of 71 year old retiree Alan Abrahamson was found shot to death in a large open field in Palm Beach Garden, Florida. At first glance, his death appeared to be self-inflicted, but the problem with that is when they searched around and underneath Alan's body, there was no gun to be found. So, this had to have been at the hands of somebody else. But who? And why is it Alan appeared to be so at peace when he died? If someone was chasing after him to shoot him, how is it he appeared as though he simply laid down and peacefully went to sleep? It had detectives scratching their heads...until one of them remembered seeing a case similar to this on CSI... What happened to Alan Abrahamson? This episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson covers the conversations people don't want to have, but that won't go away just because they're uncomfortable. We start with the newly released Epstein files and why their implications are being downplayed, rushed past, or deliberately blurred by our government. Then we address the circulating TPUSA / Erika Kirk / Charlie Kirk assassination-related news, breaking down what has actually been reported, what remains unclear, and why responsible people should care about facts, timelines, and accountability (as Candace Owens does). Truth matters, not carefully crafted false narratives.I also speak candidly about Trump's failures because blind loyalty helps no one, and criticism is not betrayal. If leadership is going to demand trust, it has to earn it. Same goes for respect. Finally, because many of you have asked, I address some personal matters: ongoing unwanted attention from men I have clearly and firmly removed from my life, including an individual by the name of Timothy Ronald C. (I will reveal his full legal name publicly if he does not leave me alone) and an ex whose post-NFL career implosions are not my responsibility to manage, nor care about. To be clear: this is not “dragging” solely for entertainment purposes. This is about boundaries I have made (which are very known). I am in a happy, healthy relationship, I have moved on, and these men will never see me again. This episode is about truth, discernment, and refusing to be bullied—politically, culturally, or personally—into silence. This is America, home of the brave and land of the FREE.--https://www.bible.com/

This episode is a little different. For the final episode of the year, the roles are reversed as Detours alum and journalist Hélène Fromenty steps into the host seat, turning the mic back on Mel Webb, creator and host of the Detours podcast.Together, we reflect on a wild 2025 and what the year really looked like behind the scenes of Detours — from building and sustaining an independent cycling podcast, to working on the ground with the Mountain Races, to navigating a complicated relationship with cycling during a season when riding took a back seat.We talk about imposter feelings, representation in bikepacking and ultra-distance race coverage, creative sustainability, and the ongoing balance between personal goals and creating work that serves a wider community. The Veil is a chilling true crime podcast that pulls listeners deep into the world's darkest and most haunting cases. Hosted by investigative journalist Ryan Wolf, each episode is crafted like an immersive thriller — a story told not just through facts, but through atmosphere, tension, and detail that makes you feel as though you're standing inside the crime scene itself. These are not urban legends or ghost stories; every case is real, every victim and every clue drawn from documented fact. From unsolved murders to bizarre disappearances, infamous trials to cold cases that still whisper through history, The Veil strips back the layers of time and rumor to confront the unsettling truths hidden beneath. With an eye for detail and a voice that guides you through the shadows, Ryan brings both journalistic rigor and cinematic storytelling to each 30-minute episode. What emerges is an experience that is at once gripping and unnerving, reminding us that the scariest stories are not fiction at all.Pull back the veil — but beware. Because sometimes, when we lift it, we don't like what we find.Available wherever you get your podcasts.Guilt is a 100% Independent Podcast. Support the Podcast by becoming a Brevity+ subscriber. WARNING: THIS EPISODE CONTAINS DETAILS INVOLVING CHILD ABUSE AND MAY BE DISTURBING TO SOME...LISTENER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. On the afternoon of August 14, 2025, Rebecca Haro contacted 911 from a Big 5 Sporting Goods Store in Yucaipa, California to report that she had been attacked and her 7 month old son, Emmanuel, was kidnapped. She said that she had driven to the Big 5 from her older child's football game nearby to get him a new mouth guard. She brought the 7 month old with her while her husband, Jake Haro, stayed at the game with their other children. When she arrived in the parking lot, she noticed Emmanuel needed a fresh diaper, so she laid him down on the seat of the car and prepared to change him when she was attacked from behind, struck with a blow so hard that it caused her to see white, knocking her out cold. She fell to the ground and laid there for an unknown amount of time before coming to and finding her baby was missing. She called out his name and eventually went into the Big 5 asking if anyone had seen someone with a baby. 911 was called and a large scale search was launched by both the San Bernardino and Riverside Sheriffs Department assisting in the search efforts. Within days, the suspicion turned to the parents as inconsistencies came up in mom's story, along with emerging information regarding the dad's criminal history of abusing his children. If you have any information about Emmanuel Haro's whereabouts, contact the Specialized Investigations Division at 909-890-4904 or leave an anonymous tip at 800-78-CRIME or visit their website wetip.comSOURCES:https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/crime/2025/08/19/emmanuel-haro-missing-california-mom-parents/85720865007/https://www.newsweek.com/baby-missing-california-emmanuel-haro-2115807https://www.vvng.com/uvalde-foundation-for-kids-to-haro-parents-join-the-search-you-will-be-protected/https://gazettedirect.com/emmanuel-haro-parents/LINKS:Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/killaforniapodPayPal: https://www.paypal.coCashm/paypalme/killaforniapodMerchandise: https://killaforniadreamingpodcast.threadless.com/Website: https://killaforniadreamingpodcast.buzzsprout.com/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@KillaforniaDreamingPodcastFacebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1296620370450345/Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/killaforniadreamingInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/killaforniadreamingpod/?hl=enX: https://twitter.com/killaforniapodEmail: killaforniapod@gmail.comTikTok: @killaforniadreamingpod Cash App: $KDpodcastSupport the show

On Friday October 2, 2020, 24 year old single mother Alyssa Burkett was shot and stabbed to death in broad daylight in front of her place of work where she had just pulled in to park and start her day. Witnesses looked on as her assailant, described as a black man, emerged from his vehicle with a gun in his hand, approached the driver's side window pointed his gun at Alyssa's head and fired. The shot crackled the glass, left a gaping hole in the window, struck Alyssa on the left side of her face and eye, but did not immediately kill her. The shooter hurried to his vehicle and began backing out of his parking spot when he realized his victim was still alive. So, he threw his vehicle into park, got out of the vehicle a second time, this time armed with a knife...and approached Alyssa once again, this time outside her car on the walkway leading up to her office. Co-workers inside looked on helpless as they thought this was an active shooter situation. When her assailant was finally done, he fled, leaving Alyssa on the ground, mortally wounded with 44 stab wounds in addition to the gunshot. Who would want to murder this unassuming mother of one 15 month old baby girl? Her mom, rushed to the scene, and provided an answer to that question, touching off an investigation that reveal something much more diabolical going on than what initially seemed like an open and shut case. These thoughts on the debate of the declassification of the "Epstein Files". The DOJ says keeping the files sealed won't change anything. They say there's nothing noteworthy in the files. And keeping them sealed is to protect the victims. I say there is a need to expose the elite and powerful who commit crimes against children with impunity and if there's nothing noteworthy, then why keep them hidden?? On January 26, 2015, after a heated text exchange with her boyfriend, 21 year old Texas College student and football player Carlton Champion, Jr, 24 year old Ty Underwood insisted they meet up to discuss their relationship face to face. A few minutes after she text Carlton she arrived, she was shot to death as she sat behind the wheel of her car. Attempting to flee, she hit a mailbox, turned around, went up onto a grassy parkway and ran into a pole. Even then, she continued to try to escape by spinning out her tires, but she was stuck, eventually succumbing to her injuries. The investigation soon revealed Ty was a transgender woman, but this was not a secret she kept from Carlton. BUT, it was a secret Carlton wanted to keep from his friends and teammates. Ty, however, wanted more, she wanted to go public and she wanted to make it social media official. Carlton didn't want word to get out that he was in a relationship with a transgender woman, so his solution was to choose murder. Billy Smolinski was a 31 year old man living and working in Waterbury, Connecticut when he inexplicably went missing on August 24, 2004 after returning from a trip he took with his 46 year old girlfriend Madeline Gleason...a trip where he discovered she was having an affair with a married man. That married man turned out to be a Connecticut politician. Because Billy told a neighbor he was going on a road trip for three days and asked that neighbor to look after his dog, police refused to take Billy's missing persons report until those three days passed, hindering the investigation from the start. Today, almost 21 years later, there has been no sign of Billy and his family is still searching. What happened to Billy Smolinksi? Emma shares exciting news about the upcoming Independent Podcast Forum on June 16th at 21 Soho in London—a full-day event designed specifically to combat what she calls "the lonely sport" of podcasting. For solo creators who can't always find understanding from non-podcasting friends and family, this gathering promises expert insights and invaluable peer connections. The forum emerged directly from attendee feedback at previous awards ceremonies, where creators consistently valued being surrounded by others who truly understand their unique challenges.Send James & Sam a messageSupport the showConnect With Us: Email: weekly@podnews.net Fediverse: @james@bne.social and @samsethi@podcastindex.social Support us: www.buzzsprout.com/1538779/support Get Podnews: podnews.net
