Grant Newsham, Senior Research Fellow, Japan Forum for Strategic Studies I spoke with Grant Newsham in a wide-ranging conversation about the challenges we face from the Chinese Communist Party, what specifically Donald Trump is going to have to do to defeat that mortal threat, and whether the people he is pulling in to work with him have a similar commitment to that mission. And what challenges they're going to face, especially if the Secretary of the Treasury turns out, as has been the case with his or her predecessors, of being a shell for Wall Street and an enabler of its ongoing efforts to underwrite the Chinese Communist Party, including its military buildup that threatens us with mass destruction.

Grant Newsham, Senior Research Fellow at Japan Forum for Strategic Studies I discussed the Chinese aggression against the Philippines and the lack of American support to our treaty ally in a moment of need and whether that is contributing to further efforts by the Chinese to assert their dominion over the Filipinos and their territory and possibly to prompt the people of the Philippines to pursue a separate peace with their mortal enemies and ours in the CCP. We also discussed what's happening in Thailand and Japan, and with respect to the United Front Work Department, all topics of great concern as they involve the possibly lethal emboldening of China Chinese, the CCP, and the Chinese Communist Party.   Elliot Chodff, Political and Military Analyst, Hamartzim Educational Services Major Elliot Chodff of the Israel Defense Forces spoke with me in his personal capacity as a podcaster and duty expert on developments on the ground in Israel's wars for its very survival, specifically about pressures the United States has been bringing to bear on Israel to agree to a ceasefire that is not in Israel's interest under present circumstances and certainly not under the terms being offered, well demanded really, by the United States government.  We also spoke about the reasons why Hamas, interestingly enough, is not participating in the ceasefire negotiations and is quite happy to have America compel Israel to surrender effectively to that terrorist organization. Trevor Loudon, Creator of The Documentary The Enemies Within Trevor Loudon gave us a short course on the phenomenon of the Chinese Communist Party United Front Work Department's influence operations in America. The extent to which they have been operating for many decades, but in particular, disclosures from 2016 about the Well, not only the extent of what's afoot but its explicitly partisan purposes.  We also discussed the implications of these various Chinese efforts to subvert our elections in the upcoming fall contests.

We not only don't know who's running the government, but we have reason to believe among those is a man who is a controlled asset of the Chinese Communist Party, at the very least Hunter Biden, if not his dad.  We also discussed Japan's state of preparedness to help us in the event of Chinese aggression in the Far East, the shocking discovery that there is a tremendous deficit in the recruitment of individuals for the Japanese military, and what we must do to try to shore up our ally in that regard.   Stephen Bryen, Former Senior Staff Dir. of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Stephen Bryen and I visited about the efforts of NATO on the occasion of its 75th-anniversary summit meeting here in Washington, DC, to essentially lock in the policy towards Ukraine to prevent President Trump from being able to change course if he sees fit and wins the White House again.  We also discussed the extent to which NATO and the United States government's promises to Ukraine, especially to arm it, may prove inadequate and unavailing. Bill Marshall, Senior Investigator, Judicial Watch In a conversation with Bill Marshall of Judicial Watch, we talked about the January 6th false flag operation and the evidence of its true character that Judicial Watch is trying to obtain through freedom of action and freedom of information requests as what it means that the United States Army has changed the mission statement of the at West Point that will be harmful in the extreme to future leaders of our armed forces and their ability to perform their mission.

Col. Grant Newsham (USMC-Ret.), has a warning for America: China is at war with us. It is time for Americans to understand that China does not believe war starts with the deployment of missiles, tanks, and infantry. From the perspective of the People's Republic of China (PRC), war has already begun. Furthermore, over the last several decades, China has used influence operations, economic policies, political warfare, and lawfare to cripple America. The results have left American communities jobless with rampant drug use, deaths of despair, and social disfunction. As one example, fentanyl related drug overdoses caused 70,000 American deaths in 2021. This number is higher than the number of Americans killed during the Vietnam War. The chemical components of fentanyl are manufactured in China.     After decades of economic growth and political warfare, China has undergone one of the most significant military build-ups during a period of "peace." What are their next moves? As China has trained, mobilized, and built up its army and navy, the obvious question is for what purpose?  In this interview, we discuss these questions and much more.  Interview topics include: China's current military capabilities: Key strengths and weaknesses China has a mission: To defeat the United States and they believe that war is already taking place. Does China believe they can successfully invade Taiwan? If China does attack Taiwan, what would the attack look like? How would the United States respond? Is nuclear war possible? What is military-civilian fusion? How does China think of Comprehensive National Power (CNP) How have American elites both in business and politics helped to facilitate China's rise to power. On the American business class and Wall Street, Grant says, "You can't expect to win if you're funding your enemies."  Check out the book: When China Attacks A Warning to America  Biography: Grant Newsham is a Senior Fellow with the Center for Security Policy. China's territorial claims to Japan's close neighbor Taiwan has spurred Japan to build up its defense forces. As part of that defensive buildup, there is now talk of using nuclear weapons to defend against China, which does have nuclear weapons. Whether Japan would develop its own, ask the US to use its nukes or some other option remains an open question. In this episode of China Unscripted, we look at Japan's desire for nuclear weapons, the significance of the disputed Senkaku islands, how stable the US-Japan relationship really is, and why China could invade Taiwan any day now. Joining us in this episode is Dr. Robert Eldridge, an expert on Japan's security and diplomacy and a senior researcher for the Japan Forum for Strategic Studies in Tokyo.
