Last week, we examined the deeply worrying prospect of Kash Patel, FBI director. This week, that possibility became even more worrisome with respect to the future of the FBI, all sparked by current director Christopher Wray's announcement of his intention to step down. To kick off this week's show, Dahlia Lithwick is joined by Slate senior writer Mark Joseph Stern, who explains why Wray's decision is very bad news for the law and the rule of law.  Next, the planet: Last summer, we tried to absorb the sheer scale of the shift in the constitutional landscape following a run of cases at the end of the last term that gave the courts the power to reshape the administrative state from the bench, and to impede the tools of the environmental protection trade at a time when the climate is in crisis. But the news cycle moved on and the global climate alarm got snoozed again. That alarm was surely ringing again at One, First Street this week, when a case that could reshape the nation's biggest environmental law was argued at the Supreme Court.  Seven County Infrastructure Coalition v. Eagle County, Colorado comes to the court as a dispute over how much review is due to a railroad plan that will carry waxy, crude oil through environmentally sensitive areas, and send said waxy crude on its way to already polluted and health blighted gulf communities. Sam Sankar of Earth Justice was on hand to explain how this weedy case paints a very clear picture of the Supreme Court conservative majority's fondness for grabbing cases that are vehicles for achieving their preferred policy outcomes, but then finding themselves in a bit of a pickle when its time to craft a new test for an old problem.   Want more Amicus? [SEGMENT 1-1] Christopher Wray is quitting   "So, Christopher Wray says he's quitting? Is that how they're spinning it? As if keeping his job was an option. This guy isn't walking out the door—he's being shot out of a CANNON. If the DOJ were 'The Apprentice,' there'd be no cliffhanger for the next season, because we know who's getting FIRED!   And don't get me started on his testimony to Congress.Asking Christopher Wray a question is like asking a Magic 8-Ball with commitment issues: 'Director Wray, what's your shoe size?' 'Well, Congressman, as you know, I can't comment on ongoing investigations…' 'Your shoes are under investigation?' “As I said, I can't comment about something that may or may not be under investigation.”   Let's talk about his accomplishments—or lack thereof.  [SEGMENT 1-2] Christopher Wray is quitting 2     How many terror attacks happened on Wray's watch where the FBI already had the bad guy profiled? Isn't it ironic, though that almost every mass murderer in recent memory had the FBI's attention beforehand. But they were all dismissed as 'not a person of interest.' Why? Because Wray's agents were too busy tailing legal gun owners and ignoring trans maniacs openly posting their manifestos on Facebook. It's like the FBI motto has gone from 'Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity' to 'Oops, Our Bad.' Sick twisted maniacs were practically live-streaming their plots, and wearing ‘Future Terrorist' shirts…and the FBI was like, 'Hmm… we'll keep an eye on it.' These shooters had more red flags than a Communist parade, and Wray's team is out here playing Candy Crush.   Apparently, the FBI search-engine bots no longer search for keyword terrorist, but instead look for MAGA. And it only searches the database for legal gun owners.   The FBI couldn't unlock the San Bernardino shooter's iPhone but can unlock doors at Mar-a-Lago like they've got the master key.I mean, they raided Trump's house faster than you can say “classified documents,” but when it's a literal terrorist? "Oh no, Apple says we need a passcode!" Did Wray try “1234”? No wonder the terrorists weren't scared. I'd be willing to bet that most of America's terrorists have “FBI Chris” as a contact in their phones.   And let's not forget his crowning achievement: locking up over 1,000 unarmed January 6th protesters for four years. Four years for trespassing! But hey, you're safer now, right? While actual terrorists are probably planning their next move from the comfort of an Airbnb in Ohio, the FBI's like, 'We got those grandmas who took selfies in the rotunda. Mission accomplished.' Understand, the FBI infiltrates January 6th and dresses up as Trump supporters. Wray refuses to say how many agents were there, because so many were there. And what of that guy who planted the so-called bomb? Would it surprise anybody to learn that the guy is one of Wray's agents? [SEGMENT 1-3] Christopher Wray is quitting 3   I bet you won't hear anybody discuss Chris Wray like I'm discussing him. This man writes the comedy. He's the Barney Fife of FBI folklore Worse than Comey, because we expected so much more from Wray. Christmas is coming up, and I want to do a Christmas show soon.I don't like how commercialized Christmas has become, because you get bombarded with things to buy. But I get it. I hope you will look at some of our merch as potential Christmas presents. I want to discuss Christmas songs soon. I have so many favorite Christmas songs. I heard a lady discussing her Christmas party play list, which prompted me to potentially do a show on that. And what about the raid on Trump's home? The national security threat of a president who got us out of multiple wars, negotiated peace in the Middle East, brought the two Koreas together, but he was a national security threat? So much so that they need to raid his home with a “kill order” given by a demented clown who doesn't know whether to wind his butt or scratch his watch? And let's not forget Joe Biden had actual documents next to his Corvette. Wray's response: "Oh, that's just Grandpa being Grandpa." They treat Trump's papers like nuclear launch codes, but Joe's stuff is fine even though it's stored under a pile of Chinese wire transfer documents in a box in the garage.  [SEGMENT 1-4] Chrisopher Wray is quitting 4 Chris Wray is quitting. How will America survive without him at the helm of the FBI. Don't you feel just a little more anxious with him leaving. How will the world work? All jokes aside, I feel safer now that Chris Wray is leaving the FBI.This transition period may be the only one in recent history where the most solid citizens of America aren't being targeted for something stupid. The FBI is an enigma to me. Because it treated the best citizens of America like criminals while wholly ignoring real criminals, including terrorists. From the Steele dossier to blatant lying to Congress, the FBI has a massive stain.   https://x.com/kylenabecker/status/1866522166025691508Breaking News. Fulton County Superior Court has issued a default judgment against District Attorney Fani Willis for refusing to turn over records that could document her collusion with the J6 committee and Special Counsel Jack Smith. The court order states: "By finding the Defendant in default, the Court has effectively declared that she violated the ORA [Open Records Act]. The Court further ORDERS the Defendant to conduct a thorough search of her records for responsive materials within five business days of this Order's entry." "Within the same five-day period, the Defendant is ORDERED to provide the Plaintiff with copies of all responsive records that are not legally exempt or excepted from disclosure. If the Defendant must or chooses to withhold any portion of a requested record, she is instructed to adhere to the procedures outlined in the ORA."However, the Fulton County D.A. claims that such records don't exist, potentially putting her at legal risk of perjury and obstruction of justice. The court makes it clear that it has substantive reason to believe Willis is withholding records: "Defendant is further ORDERED to provide an explanation why such correspondence does not exist in Defendant's records (or why it is being withheld)." However, if Willis does turn over the records, it could provide proof of a criminal conspiracy. Oh, the irony. Oh the irony that the FBI believes it protected the country from those parents who are overzealous about their children's education. You know how DANGEROUS plugged-in parents can be. You read about their crimes ALL THE TIME. And when Wray's FBI wasn't tormenting Trump, it labeled parents who dared to complain at school board meetings as “domestic terrorists.” Really? Because doting mothers were upset about their children learning about gender theory during “Rainbow Reading Hour” where Little Susie had to look at the “Johnson” of no-panty-wearing drag king? Meanwhile, real terrorists are taking notes.Like, “All we have to do is NOT act like a concerned parent, and the FBI will ignore you!” How many terrorists are in America? How many are known and under surveillance by the FBI now. Known criminals who came here illegally, yet the FBI refuses to get them deported? How about that Supreme Court leaker? Still unsolved. After all, there are so many potential suspects of the 50 or so potential people it could have been. We're not talking about the Pentagon; it's a glorified book club with robes. 12 justices and staffers. My 17-year old could have solved this mystery during his lunch break at the hamburger joint where he works and without the rest of the clan from Scooby Doo. But Wray's FBI is still all over this one. Rumors are, they suspect Trump. My personal favorite unsolved FBI mystery is the White House coke scandal. Really, Chris? Still looking into that? I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but the suspect list is shorter than Joe Biden's monthly to-do agenda. Do we really need a drug-sniffing dog to figure this one out? Let me narrow it down: Who was sweating profusely and asking if there's a Taco Bell nearby? Hunter? Kamala? Or—plot twist—Jill Biden crushing it between shifts. Anybody remember the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history? How does one guy rent out a floor of a hotel, turn it into an armory, commit this, and leave no trace of motive? The FBI says, “The Las Vegas shooting a mystery.”You know what else is a mystery? What Wray actually does all day. I'd really like to know how much overlap is there between the FBI and NY prosecutors targeting Trump? I'm willing to wager that they have a WhatsApp group chat on how to get Trump. Let's just say, if they coordinated this much against actual criminals, America would look like a Hallmark movie. But on Wray's watch, the FBI's biggest mission has been Operation Clockwork Orange. What will be revealed once Wray leaves? That the FBI was an adjunct operation for the Democrats. That Wray spied on MAGA-supporting Americans, and he did it to “save the democracy,” or for “the greater good”.   Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

[SEGMENT 2-1] Great Days for America 1 All the people behind the targeting of Trump will exposed in the coming weeks. They will all either accept pleas or be made to face justice. We have 4 years to correct the horrible wrongs faced by this great nation during the era of Biden, and era of politics replete with corruption and debauchery. Time made President Trump: Man of the Year. Not that he needed their endorsement.  [SEGMENT 2-2] Great Days for America 2 Trump went from pariah to GOAT. He's a HERO He went from quicksand under his feet to a firm foundation I don't know many presidents who go into office with this type of mandate, and I don't mean what we've conjured up in our minds as MAGA. Americans are overjoyed about Trump's return.   First president to ring the bell at the NYSE since 1985 when they chose Reagan. Trump's name will last as long as Reagan's in the lexicon of political discussions and particularly admiration by Conservatives.   The resignation of Christopher Wray is a great day for America as it will end the Weaponization of what has become known as the United States Department of Injustice. I just don't know what happened to him. We will now restore the Rule of Law for all Americans. Under the leadership of Christopher Wray, the FBI illegally raided my home, without cause, worked diligently on illegally impeaching and indicting me, and has done everything else to interfere with the success and future of America. They have used their vast powers to threaten and destroy many innocent Americans, some of which will never be able to recover from what has been done to them. Kash Patel is the most qualified Nominee to lead the FBI in the Agency's History, and is committed to helping ensure that Law, Order, and Justice will be brought back to our Country again, and soon. As everyone knows, I have great respect for the rank-and-file of the FBI, and they have great respect for me. They want to see these changes every bit as much as I do but, more importantly, the American People are demanding a strong, but fair, System of Justice. We want our FBI back, and that will now happen. I look forward to Kash Patel's confirmation, so that the process of Making the FBI Great Again can begin. Thank you   There is ONE reason why Fani Willis refuses to turn over her communications on J6. She's guilty and so are they. She has been INSTRUCTED not to turn this information over.  [SEGMENT 2-3] Great Days are Coming 3 – Pardons   Chris Wray's legacy will be turning the world's most powerful law enforcement agency into a domestic terror operation that includes raiding the home of the former president, entrapping individuals into politically-oriented hoaxes like Whitmer fednapping, colluding with Big Tech to protect the Biden crime family by censoring Americans, and using the FBI counterterrorism task force to investigate, raid, and arrest nearly 1,600 Americans who protested the 2020 election on January 6. His failures include record crime, a bleeding southern border, out of control fentanyl crisis, and historic low trust in the FBI. Seems impossible but the worst FBI director in US history. The damage he caused this country may never be fully repaired. WTF?! Joe Biden just pardoned multiple Chinese spies and an individual convicted of possessing child p*rnography   https://www.ft.com/content/3378545d-d1bc-4fe6-880c-69ff5c649a05 Please use the sharing tools found via the share button at the top or side of articles. Jin Shanlin was freed as part of a rare prisoner swap negotiated with the Biden administration that China's foreign ministry said on Thursday was the result of “tireless” government efforts. While the other two Chinese citizens were imprisoned in the US on espionage-related convictions, Jin pleaded guilty in 2021 to possessing child pornography. During his trial in Texas, an FBI special agent testified that his family was “connected to influential members of the Communist party in China”, according to court records. China's foreign ministry said on Thursday its three citizens had been wrongfully detained by the US and were safely returned home through the “tireless efforts of the Chinese government”.  “This once again demonstrates that China will never abandon its compatriots under any circumstances, and the motherland will always be their strong support,” said foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning.  Jin, 26, had admitted possessing and distributing “more than 600 images and videos of child pornography” while he was studying for a PhD at Southern Methodist University in Texas.  Local police department investigators said an internet protocol address linked to Jin's residence had used a peer-to-peer network to share a video of “sexual assault of an infant by an adult male” along with other child porn.  Police said they found child pornography open on Jin's computer when they entered his home, which included “videos involving infants and toddlers”.     https://deepnewz.com/china/biden-grants-clemency-to-chinese-national-convicted-child-pornography-espionage-4efaf070 I asked for a comedic take on Biden's massive pardon spree, and particularly on this article where he pardoned Chinese nationals. [START] https://deepnewz.com/china/biden-grants-clemency-to-chinese-national-convicted-child-pornography-espionage-4efaf070 President Joe Biden has granted clemency to Shanlin Jin, a Chinese national convicted of possessing 47,000 images of child pornography. Yanjun Xu, a Chinese spy sentenced to 20 years for espionage. Jin had served four years of his 97-month sentence after pleading guilty. The Plano police confirmed 1,338 images and videos on Jin's computer, including infant sexual assault. For additional context, here is another article that references the deal: https://www.ft.com/content/3378545d-d1bc-4fe6-880c-69ff5c649a05 Was HUNTER on there? Xu was convicted for plotting to steal proprietary information from aviation companies, including GE Aviation. The decision to grant clemency to these individuals has sparked significant controversy and criticism. [END] The only people discussing this are Conservatives. Interestingly, if you Google "Biden pardons", the information on the pardon of the Chinese won't come up. You must dig really deep or go to X to find the link mentioned above. It's as if the fake news media doesn't want to report about the pardon of the Chinese nationals. Instead of highlighting these pardons, all the other stories highlight Americans who have turned their lives around, and now act as exemplary citizens. Even if you add "Chinese Pardons" to the Google search, no story reveals the pardons to the Chinese. I proposed that Biden pardoned these people at the behest of the Chinese government, because the perpetrators are spies, and Biden was threatened by the Chinese for his potential dealings in China for which he pardoned Hunter in Phase I of his pardons. Phase II is a Pardon-a-Palooza as Biden pardoned over 1,500 people under the guise that they were either sentenced too long for their crimes or other so-called humanitarian reasons. I'm not buying this, at least not for the Chinese pardons. Finally, Phase III is where Biden will go hog wild, as we say in the country. Phases I and II were all to set up what Biden is about to do. He's trying to spread the outrage, because Phase III will be huge, as Biden pardons his remaining family members, and all of the upper echelon of the agencies in the DOJ down to middle-management.    “Joe's Great Pardon Bazaar: Everything Must Go!”“Biden's Backroom Deals: Now with Free Spy Exchanges!”“The Art of the Pardon: Joe Biden Edition”“Pardon Me? The Biden Family Clearance Sale”“From Hard Drives to Hard Time: Biden's Clemency Chronicles”“Keeping Up with the Clemencies”. And the latest episode? Pardon-a-Palooza. Apparently, Joe's handing out pardons like Oprah hands out cars. “You get a pardon! You get a pardon! Everybody gets a pardon!” So, Joe Biden's pardoning spree is in full swing. And it's not like he's just handing out Get Out of Jail Free cards to someone who shoplifted a Snickers. No, we're talking about hardcore criminals. Chinese nationals convicted of espionage and, uh, crimes so heinous that even Jeffrey Epstein would've been like, “Whoa, too far.” A pretty low bar for clemency, eh? “Are you a threat to national security or basic human decency? Congratulations! You qualify!”   Let's Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

Donald Trump's nomination of loyalist Kash Patel for FBI director could be his most contentious yet. Patel's widely considered controversial for his comments about shutting down the FBI headquarters and ceding all power to the President. He's also spoken about coming after the media – and offering retribution to his enemies inside government. US correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking one of the issues is the post isn't open – with current head Chris Wray still having more than three years left. “Wray was appointed by Donald Trump during his first term, but their relationship soured early on. And then things worsened when the FBI issued that search warrant for classified documents.” LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

I'm going to pay my taxes. I'm going to write the check. It has become psychologically difficult for me to do this because the government is utterly and completely corrupt. At some point we are funding things that are directly against God. This is a conundrum. Jesus did say render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. Speaker Johnson has now said that he thinks FISA should continue because he has seen behind the scenes and believes we need it. It's amazing what changes when you reach a position of power. One thing that would make me feel better on Tax Day, that borders on revenge, is having Pfizer, Maderna, and the CDC pay back every dime they stole that they made from the covid injections. In the UK, people are talking about Pfizer being fined for making false claims. On Tax Day, it's very frustrating to have Chris Wray refuse to answer questions asked by elected representatives. Maybe he should be fined for every day he refuses to answer these questions. What does God's Word say? Romans 13:1-1013 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.Love Fulfills the Law8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.Episode 1,532 Links:Biden Hikes Corporate Tax Expenditures 92%"Are you aware that there is an audio recording of Joe Biden saying to his ghostwriter in 2016: 'I just found all the classified documents stuff downstairs'?"
