Restoring Kingdom Authority:  What Adam Lost Jesus Restored | BLTV092026 Biblical Life TV DESCRIPTION Did Jesus come only to save humanity from sin—or did His redemptive work also restore something Adam surrendered in the Garden? In this edition of Biblical Life TV, Dr. Michael Lake examines the biblical theology of KINGDOM AUTHORITY. From Genesis to the Great Commission, Scripture reveals that humanity was created not merely to exist upon the earth but to represent God, exercise stewardship, guard sacred space, and function under the authority of the King. Adam was given everything he needed to fulfill that assignment. Yet the serpent did not begin by attacking Adam and Eve with overwhelming force. He began with a question: "Did God actually say…?" — Genesis 3:1 That question remains one of the enemy's most effective weapons. Has God really said this is sin? Has God really said believers have authority over the kingdom of darkness? Has God really said we can resist the devil? Has God really said His Word can be trusted? The moment the believer begins questioning what God has clearly established, the enemy attempts to separate authority from its source. Adam surrendered ground. But Jesus came to restore what was lost. This teaching examines the biblical restoration pattern: Adam lost fellowship—Christ brings reconciliation. Adam brought condemnation—Christ brings justification. Adam brought death—Christ brings resurrection life. Adam lost access to God's presence—Christ restores access. Adam corrupted humanity's calling as God's image-bearers—Christ restores the image. Adam surrendered ground to the serpent—Jesus crushes the serpent's head. Adam failed to guard sacred space—Jesus defeats the powers of darkness. Adam's dominion became corrupted—Jesus declares that ALL AUTHORITY in heaven and earth belongs to Him. Humanity lost its royal-priestly vocation—Christ creates a Kingdom of priests. Creation entered corruption—Christ ultimately brings the new creation. The Gospel is therefore not merely about getting people into heaven. It is about restoring redeemed humanity to proper relationship with God and bringing believers back under the government of Jesus Christ. ALL AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO CHRIST Before issuing the Great Commission, Jesus makes an extraordinary declaration: "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." — Matthew 28:18 Then He says: "Go therefore…" — Matthew 28:19 The commission flows from His authority. Jesus commands His disciples to make disciples, baptize believers, and teach them to observe everything He commanded. This means discipleship itself is an exercise of Kingdom authority. Baptism is an act of allegiance. Obedience is spiritual warfare. Standing upon Scripture is spiritual warfare. Sanctification is spiritual warfare. Choosing righteousness instead of sin is spiritual warfare. Every time the believer chooses God's Word over the enemy's deception, another string of manipulation is cut. THE FIRST DIMENSION OF AUTHORITY: YOU CAN SAY NO The teaching explores the Greek word exousia, translated "authority." One of its important dimensions involves the right or freedom to act. Before redemption, humanity is enslaved to sin. In Christ, the believer can finally say: NO. No to sin. No to temptation. No to deception. No to the manipulation of the enemy. And: YES to God. YES to righteousness. YES to obedience. YES to the Word. YES to the Kingdom. Learning to exercise that choice is part of learning Kingdom authority. JESUS SHOWS US HOW AUTHORITY WORKS Matthew 4:1–11 records Satan tempting Jesus after forty days of fasting. The enemy attacked at a moment of tremendous physical weakness. Yet Jesus did not defeat temptation through emotion, physical strength, religious excitement, or a dramatic display. Three times His response was essentially: IT IS WRITTEN. The authority of the believer is therefore not based upon how powerful the believer FEELS. Authority rests upon Christ, His victory, His Word, and our obedient submission to Him. If Heaven stands behind the Word, Hell must yield to the authority of that Word. AUTHORITY OVER THE POWER OF THE ENEMY Jesus tells His disciples: "Behold, I have given you authority…over all the power of the enemy." — Luke 10:19 The episode examines an important distinction between exousia—authority—and dunamis—power. The kingdom of darkness may attempt to intimidate believers through manifestations of supernatural power. But supernatural manifestations do not cancel the authority Christ has delegated to obedient believers. The enemy wants Christians to become impressed by his power so that they forget their authority. Jesus teaches precisely the opposite. Do not become fascinated with demons. Do not become intimidated by supernatural manifestations. Do not build your identity around spiritual warfare. Rejoice that your names are written in heaven. — Luke 10:20 AUTHORITY GROWS THROUGH TRAINING David did not begin with Goliath. Before the giant came the lion and the bear. In the same way, God can use smaller battles to train believers in obedience, faith, discernment, and Kingdom authority. Every temptation presents a choice. Every spiritual conflict provides an opportunity to stand upon Scripture. Every act of obedience strengthens the believer's ability to remain faithful when greater battles arrive. God trains His people before the Goliath moment. BINDING AND LOOSING This episode also examines two important passages concerning binding and loosing: Matthew 18:15–20 Matthew 16:13–19 Matthew 18 concerns authority and discipline within the believing community. Matthew 16 takes place in the region of Caesarea Philippi, against the backdrop of Mount Hermon and the "gates of Hades." The teaching connects this location with the spiritual rebellion associated with Genesis 6 and presents Jesus' declaration as a direct challenge to the kingdom of darkness: "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." — Matthew 16:18 THE BREAKER SWITCH One of the strongest illustrations in this episode compares spiritual authority to an electrical breaker. Enormous electrical power can flow through a system. Yet a relatively small breaker can interrupt that power—not because the breaker possesses greater raw energy, but because it has the AUTHORITY and function to interrupt the circuit. The enemy may display power. The believer has been given delegated authority in Christ. The question is: Will we believe what God has said? THE BATTLE RETURNS TO GENESIS 3 The enemy still whispers: "Has God really said?" The believer must answer: YES, HE HAS. God has spoken. His Word remains true. Jesus Christ has triumphed over the kingdom of darkness. All authority belongs to Him. And believers who submit themselves to the King are called to carry out His Kingdom assignments under His authority. The closing prayer asks God to teach His people their authority, establish confidence in the validity of His Word, and deepen their trust in His righteous character so that they can be used for His glory. KEY SCRIPTURES DISCUSSED ·      Genesis 2:15 ·      Genesis 3:1 ·      Deuteronomy 32:4–5 ·      Psalm 145:17 ·      Matthew 4:1–11 ·      Matthew 16:13–19 ·      Matthew 18:15–20 ·      Matthew 28:18–20 ·      Luke 10:17–20 ·      Isaiah 40:29–31 ·      Isaiah 41:10 ·      1 John 1:6 ·      Daniel 11:32 ·      Jude 1:9 ·      1 Corinthians 5:1–5 CALL TO ACTION The enemy's question has not changed: "Has God really said?" Our answer must not change either: YES, HE HAS. Now is the time to learn the Word, trust the character of God, pursue holiness, close doors to the enemy, and learn to exercise the authority Jesus Christ has given His people. Exposing Deception! | Kathryn Krick & Geor Davie | Church Wake Up! The church must grow in spiritual discernment. While the gifts and callings of God remain active today, counterfeit movements and a false spirit of deception are misleading many in the body of Christ. In this urgent message, we expose the dangers surrounding Kathryn Krick and her spiritual covering, Geor Davie, whose ministry fruit reveals a pursuit of power, money, and fame rather than true holiness. Believers must test the spirits, stand for sound doctrine, and contend earnestly for the faith. When the source is compromised, the fruit is dangerous—church, it's time to wake up! Kaythrn Krick is deceived and deceiving many in the body of Christ. She along with her "spiritual daddy," George Davie, are dangerous to the church. Many are sounding the alarm on her ministry because the masses are being seduced by demonic power. We cannot sit back and watch and not speak up. This generation must be warned. The gifts of healing and deliverance are for today and are biblical when the source is truly from the Lord. BUT, there are many who are operating from a false Jesus, a false Holy Spirit and are deceiving the body of Christ. Church know the difference. Test the spirit to see if they are true. Key Scriptures Referenced: 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 But test all things. Hold fast to what is good. Jude 1:3 Beloved, although I made every effort to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt it necessary to write and urge you to contend earnestly for the faith entrusted once for all to the saints. Acts 17:11 Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. Hebrews 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained their senses to distinguish good from evil. Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. Matthew 24:11 Many false prophets will arise and deceive many. Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. The Miracle of Obedience: Walking in Faith Peter walks on water: stepping out of the boat of safety into the realm of the miraculous "And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea... And Peter answered Him and said, 'Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.' So He said, 'Come.' And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus." — Matthew 14:25, 28-29 The Storm is Not a Mistake Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him while He dismissed the crowd (v. 22). They weren't caught in a storm by accident; they were sent straight into the wind by obedience. Just because you are facing a massive storm doesn't mean you are out of the will of God. Sometimes, the path to your next level of faith requires going straight through contrary winds. God uses the storm to break your reliance on human comfort and push you toward a supernatural encounter.

What if your child told you they could see angels? Would you know how to respond? Would you dismiss it, fear it, or lean in with curiosity and prayer? In this deeply personal and powerful episode of Revelations Podcast, Reagan welcomes back Lori from Remnant Rising to discuss a topic many believers quietly wonder about but rarely talk about openly: seeing in the spirit. Together they explore what Scripture says about angels, demons, spiritual warfare, supernatural experiences, and how God may reveal spiritual realities to both adults and children. Lori vulnerably shares her family's recent journey after her son began describing encounters with angels, spiritual battles, and dark figures with remarkable detail. Rather than responding with fear, Lori chose to seek biblical wisdom, pray with authority, and learn how to steward what God may be revealing. This conversation is not about sensationalizing the supernatural—it's about recognizing that our faith is inherently supernatural and that Jesus has already won the victory. If you've ever experienced something you couldn't explain, if your child has shared unusual spiritual experiences, or if you've wondered what Scripture teaches about the unseen realm, this episode will encourage you to respond with wisdom, discernment, and confidence in Christ. "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." Matthew 10:34 (NKJV) Cultural Peace? Most people enter Christianity looking for a life free from conflict, pressure, or difficult choices. They want a "peace" that is defined by the absence of trouble. Jesus exposes the truth: Following Him is not a path to human comfort; it is a path to radical realignment. If your version of the Gospel is "peaceful" with the world's systems, your own fleshly desires, and religious traditions, you are likely not following the Jesus of the Bible. Christianity is not about your personal comfort; but total allegiance to Him. The "sword" is the Truth of God's Word. When that Truth enters a life, it creates an unavoidable division between the old man and the new man, and between the Kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness. You cannot have both. You cannot be yoked to the world and yoked to Christ at the same time. The sword is designed to cut away the idols, the compromises, and the soulish attachments that are hindering your walk with Him. Jesus explains that this "division" will even affect the closest human relationships. This is not because Jesus hates families, but because He requires Supremacy. If your primary loyalty is to a person, a tradition, or a political agenda rather than the King, you are not fit for the Kingdom. The "sword" will eventually force you to choose: Will you prioritize the approval of man, or the mandate of the Holy Spirit? Radical discipleship requires the courage to walk away from anything—or anyone—that demands you compromise your loyalty to Christ. #ApostleCathyCoppola #Matthew1034 #KingdomAlignment #RadicalDiscipleship #TheSwordOfTheSpirit #HouseOfGlory #MightyWindTV #ApostolicTeaching #KingdomAuthority #SpiritualWarfare #TotalAllegiance #GospelOfTheKingdom

"All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him." Matthew 11:27 (NKJV) This is a legal declaration of the Father to the Son. Jesus is not acting on His own; He is operating under the full, delegated authority of the Godhead. You cannot operate in Kingdom Authority (Luke 10:19) if you do not understand Who gave you the authority. Jesus won the right to give us power because He walked in total submission to the Father. When you operate in His name, you are backed by the full weight of the Father's sovereign power. Every chain you break, you break with the Father's permission and the Son's power. "No one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son..." This speaks to the absolute, exclusive intimacy between the Father and the Son. Ministry is not a job; it is a relationship with the Father. You cannot "know" God through theology books or academic study alone. You only know the Father through the Son. If you want to move in the miraculous, you must move from knowing about God to knowing Him in the secret place of intimacy. The measure of your authority in the world is directly tied to the measure of your intimacy with Him in the closet. "...and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him." This implies that the Father is not "hidden" from the world, but He is revealed by the Son to those who are hungry for Him. God is looking for those who are willing to be "revealed to." The reason so many remain in stagnation is that they are too full of their own self-knowledge to receive the Father's revelation. To walk in this level of authority, you must maintain a "student's heart"—always ready to be taught, always ready to be corrected, and always ready for a fresh download of the Father's heart. #ApostleCathyCoppola #Matthew1127 #DivineRevelation #IntimacyWithGod #KingdomAuthority #HouseOfGlory #MightyWindTV #ApostolicLeadership #SovereigntyOfGod #KnowTheFather #PropheticTeaching

Spiritual Authority: What Most Christians Never LearnMany believers know they have authority in Christ, but few fully understand how to walk in it. In this episode, Terry and Reneé Mize continue their Spiritual Authority series by exploring a truth that is often overlooked: spiritual dominion must be learned, developed, and practiced.Through practical teaching and biblical examples, they explain why fear, anxiety, offense, discouragement, and spiritual passivity can keep Christians from exercising the authority God has already given them. Terry shares lessons learned from decades of missionary ministry, emphasizing the importance of knowing who God is, who the devil is, and who you are in Christ.Discover how to grow into spiritual authority, strengthen your faith, and walk confidently in the dominion God intended from the beginning.

Spiritual Authority: The Lie That Keeps Christians PowerlessIn this continuing series on Spiritual Authority, Terry and Reneé Mize tackle one of the most common beliefs in Christianity and examine it through the lens of Scripture. Many believers have heard the phrase, “God is in control,” but what does the Bible actually teach about authority, responsibility, and dominion in the earth?Beginning in Genesis and continuing throughout Scripture, Terry explains how misunderstanding spiritual authority can lead believers into passivity, confusion, and frustration. When Christians fail to understand what God has delegated to mankind, they often blame God for things He never intended. In this episode, you'll discover:• Why spiritual authority matters • What God delegated to mankind • The difference between God's sovereignty and man's responsibility • Why misunderstanding authority can produce powerless living • How Scripture reveals God's original plan for dominionThis eye-opening teaching continues building the foundation for understanding how spiritual authority operates and why believers must know what God has already provided through His Word.Scriptures discussed: Genesis 1, Genesis 2, and additional passages regarding authority, dominion, and responsibility.

2025 - 0215 - Engaging The Culture With Kingdom Authority

*Listen to the Show notes and podcast transcript with this multi-language player. SUMMARY “Aggressive Submission: The Path to Kingdom Authority” explores the foundational truth that spiritual authority flows directly from submission—first to God, and then to Christ expressed within His body. Authority is not something we seize, claim, or declare independently; it is released through a mature, intentional, and ongoing surrender of our will to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The discussion emphasizes that true submission is not passive or coerced but aggressive—a deliberate choosing of obedience, accountability, and alignment with God's order. As believers mature, they become personally responsible for maintaining submission in spirit, resisting individualism, and remaining connected to the body of Christ. This shared submission creates a pure spiritual atmosphere where Christ's authority moves through His people as one, establishing His kingdom on the earth. SHOW NOTES • Authority is given by God and expressed through obedience to what He speaks to our hearts • Submission is progressive; deeper submission brings greater authority • Christ Himself modeled aggressive submission to the Father • Submission is relational and lived out within the body of Christ • Spiritual maturity requires personal responsibility for one's spirit • Authority in the Kingdom is ordered, not equal • Revelation must be confirmed within the body • Apostolic and fivefold ministries equip the saints • A pure spiritual atmosphere is formed through shared submission • God is bringing His people into chosen maturity KEY QUOTES “We move in the degree of authority that we've submitted to.”“Christ was aggressively submitted to the Father.”“Submission is not passive—it's a demand you place on your own spirit.”“If we are truly submissive like Christ was, there's no limit to the authority that can move through us.”“Revelation without confirmation takes you out of the body.”“The kingdom of God is not in the sky—it's here, and it's real.”“A pure atmosphere is created when we submit our hearts to the Lord and walk as one.” SCRIPTURAL REFERENCES Luke 22-42  “Not My will, but Yours be done” Ephesians 4-11to13  Fivefold ministry equipping the saints toward maturity Matthew 16-16 to19  Revelation as the foundation of the Ecclesia Judges 21-25 – Every man doing what is right in his own eyes 1 Corinthians 14-29 – Confirmation through two or three witnesses 1 Corinthians 15-24 to 28 – Christ submitting all things to the Father TAKEAWAY...

Let's do a shift this week since I have been sensing the word authority. I want to break down some bible verses that tell us we have and carry authority because we are a child of God. I believe in order for us to walk in our authority we have to know who we are in Christ. Our identity is the key foundation of kingdom authority. After we know who we are in Christ then we have to accept and acknowledge that God has already given us the permission needed to exercise that authority. I believe this podcast is for you if:*you are unsure who are in Christ and need a reminder that you a child of God*you need to be reminded that God has called you by name and you are called by him*you somehow feel you need permission perhaps from others to walk in your authority when in fact God's permission is all you needMy 30 Day Faith to Believe devotional:Faith to Believe – 30 Day Devotional eBook - Elevate | Christina JollyConnect with me at:Home - Elevate | Christina JollyGet your FREE eBook download here:Elevate Your Faith in 5 Minutes - Elevate | Christina Jolly

If Jesus said that faith even as small as a mustard seed could move mountains…then why are so many of your mountains still standing?Unfortunately, Christian husbands living the nice guy lie are told that all they need is a teeny tiny speck of faith. If that's the case...then...Why is your marriage still stuck, your finances capped, your health unchanged, your inner world still heavy… even though you “believe” and you've been told that “even a tiny mustard seed of faith is enough”? In fact, many Christian husbands struggle with weak faith and stagnant growth in their marriage, finances, and personal well-being, despite believing the common teaching about tiny faith. In this teaching, I'm going to show you something that might upset a lot of Sunday school lessons:Jesus never talked about the small size of your faith. He talked about the nature of it.We're going into the Greek, the interlinear, and the actual word Jesus used. Then we'll look at what mustard actually does in the wild: it's invasive, dominant, environment-transforming. And you're going to see that the faith that moves mountains is not a cute, tiny speck… it's an invasive, aggressive, environment-changing belief that crowds out doubt, fear, and passivity.Once you see this, it will change:How you prayHow you fight for your marriageHow you go after healing, provision, and breakthroughHow you interpret “unanswered” prayers in your lifeAnd if you're a Christian husband who's tired of praying tiny prayers while your marriage slowly dies… this is your wake-up call. Heaven is not asking you for a polite speck of faith. Heaven is inviting you into a wildfire faith that rewires your inner world, rewrites your story, and forcefully invades the darkness and the world around you.Stop playing the polite Christian Nice Guy role. Start becoming a masculine force to be reckoned with.
