Ese, que en verdad se te mete en los huesos… Vamos a conversar sobre el más reciente filme del director estadounidense Scott Derrickson: EL TELÉFONO NEGRO Producida por Jason Blum y con un guion de Derrickson y C. Robert Cargill, EL TELÉFONO NEGRO se trata de una adaptación del cuento homónimo de Joe Hill (hijo del maestro Stephen King). Está protagonizada por Mason Thames en el papel de un niño secuestrado a finales de la década de 1970 que puede comunicarse con las anteriores víctimas de su secuestrador, interpretado por Ethan Hawke, a través de un teléfono negro que está en la habitación en donde lo tienen cautivo. Derrickson es conocido en el ámbito del cine comercial por haber dirigido la excelente cinta de Marvel DOCTOR STRANGE en el 2016, pero su filmografía nos dice que su género preferido es el terror, habiendo dirigido películas como HELLRAISER: INFERO en el 2000 o la excelente y muy poco apreciada EL EXORCISMO DE EMILY ROSE en el 2005. Ya había trabajado con Hawke e la excelente SINIESTRO en el 2012 y ahora, con EL TELÉFONO NEGRO nos trae un filme profundo, espeluznante e impecablemente dirigido.
