The Los Angeles Angels ran out a lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates worthy of a Spring Training game on Tuesday, and if you were disappointed, you weren't alone! However, it's this kind of lineup that always seems to find a way to pick up a win, and that's what happened! The Halos take game 2, 9-0, thanks to Patrick Sandoval throwing 7 scoreless innings, and Kevin Pillar deciding to have a career game at the plate with 6 RBI and 2 home runs! So, what did Patrick Sandoval do differently that led to this success? We'll tell you all about it in segment 1!Then, Ron Washington says he knows the key to Mickey Moniak's success, and Mickey agrees. Not only does it include Mickey's reduced chase rate, but it's a fundamental idea that the entire team could benefit from, and we'll discuss in segment 2!Plus, it's time for an Angel fan vibe check! Where you at, Halo fans? Down in the dumps? Hopeful? Just here to watch the young guys play and hope for brighter days? Three of the Core Four are off top slow starts, Moniak , Neto , and Nolan Schaunuel. Ohoppe has been on fiore so far but can the others get going and help carry the team?
The Los Angeles Angels head into 2024 with a number of outfielders and a number of questions regarding their outfield. In segment 1, we'll discuss Mike Trout's position as center fielder and how his success is the team's success. But, will Mike Trout be able to stay on the field in 2024? The last three years have been tough to watch for Angels fans, as every time Trout is on the field, he continues to prove why he's the best in baseball. However, will the injury bug rear its ugly head in 2024? And, will the addition of Aaron Hicks give Trout time off of his feet? Then, what is Taylor Ward's status entering Spring Training after his season ended with a face fracture? Ward started to heat up before the injury, and he stands to be working left field for the Halos this season. We'll discuss Taylor Ward in segment 2!Plus, right field figures to be ran by Mickey Moniak and Jo Adell, two young outfielders that the Angels could plan on having for years to come. We'll discuss when they're likely to be manning right field and when they might take a day off in segment 3!GET IN OUR VOICEMAIL! Los Angeles Angels fans may not feel as though they have a lot of trade capital, but, according to reports from Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, five Angels major leaguers are caught after by rival baseball clubs, and they could make for interesting trade candidates as the Halos remain active on the trade market. Today, we'll take a look at Luis Rengifo, Jose Suarez, Taylor Ward, Mickey Moniak, and Matt Thaiss, share what Rosenthal had to say about them, and what the Super Halo Bros. say about each of them! Would we be willing to part with some of these players, and, if so, what could the return be? Are there some we're willing to keep and continue to have them be part of the team in 2024? On this episode, Mark Simon (@markasimonsays) is joined by Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr., who has been one of the best players in baseball both offensively and defensively since the All-Star Break. Bobby talks about how he's no longer trying to field balls and make throws at the same time and how he mentally resets before each pitch. He also breaks down some of the best plays he's made in 2023 (0:29). Afterwards, Mark discusses the interview with Sports Info Solutions VP of Baseball Bobby Scales (@bobby_scales), who provides additional depth to some of the things Bobby Witt Jr. talked about, including a sliding play on Mike Tauchman (VIDEO). With the MLB home run robbery record being broken last week, Bobby also explains what it's like to watch a home run robbery on the field (13:34). Thanks as always for listening. Please follow us on Twitter at @sis_baseball and read our work at SportsInfoSolutions.com. You can e-mail us at Mark@sportsinfosolutions.com.

Fantasy Baseball Live – August 13, 2023 – 3 pmSegments 1 and 2 – Review of weekend gamesAdditional Questions1.I know the Cardinals have underperformed, particularly on the pitching front, but Steven Matz has surprising pitched well. ERA of 3.86, xERA of 3.89. What did everyone miss coming into the season with him?2.George Kirby or Logan Gilbert. As the great Kevin McCalister said…Do you give up, or are you thirsty for more?3.Well, we got a few good weeks from Mickey Moniak, but he's been brutal for the last two weeks. He's 7 for 52 with 25 strikeouts. So, you are the guru of the waiver wire game of catch and release. Is it time to release Moniak?4.Are you ready to trust Sandy Alcantara after his shutout of the Yankees on Saturday, or are you still worried?a.If the season ended today, the Yankees would not make the playoffs. Will that be the case at the end of the season?5.Curtis Mead. I still don't see how he gets full-time playing time. Has your position changed from last week, or do you still think people should be running him out there?a.What about the Davis Schneider? What do we do with him? He had a big day on Monday, but 1 for 12 after that.Segment 3 – Waiver WireSegment 4 – Closer ReportCloseThis show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/3306394/advertisement
The Los Angeles Angels have a way of keeping their fans on the edge of their seat and raising their blood pressure! Fortunately, the Halos were able to come away with the win on Tuesday against the Tigers, 7-6! After a nice start from Griffin Canning and some big RBIs from Mike Moustakas, Taylor Ward, and Luis Rengifo, Carlos Estevez struggled to finish the game in the 9th, and a Rengifo error and a misplay from Mickey Moniak tied it in the 6th. Moniak drove in the winning run in the 10th, and Aaron Loup shut the game down! We've got a recap of the wild game in segment 1!Then, did we miss a key reason why Hunter Renfroe has been part of 5 different teams over the last 5 years? Mike and Jon examine his career stats versus this year and identify why Renfroe hasn't had a long-term deal with a team in segment 2.Plus, it's understandable why there's a lot of Shohei Ohtani trade talk out there; he's the biggest star in sports right now. But, that doesn't mean there aren't some straight-up DUMB takes out there, and the Super Halo Bros. are here to pick them apart in segment 3!GET IN OUR VOICEMAIL! We've got a recap of the wild game in segment 1! Then, did we miss a key reason why Hunter Renfroe has been part of 5 different teams over the last 5 years? Mike and Jon examine his career stats versus this year and identify why Renfroe hasn't had a long-term deal with a team in segment 2. Plus, it's understandable why there's a lot of Shohei Ohtani trade talk out there; he's the biggest star in sports right now. But, that doesn't mean there aren't some straight-up DUMB takes out there, and the Super Halo Bros. are here to pick them apart in segment 3! GET IN OUR VOICEMAIL! MLB – Major League Baseball Last Night Los Angeles Angels 6, Chicago Cubs 2 Detroit Tigers at Philadelphia Phillies, PPD, Air Quality Chicago White Sox at New York Yankees, PPD, Air Quality Angels 6, Cubs 2 – Trout, Moniak use bats and gloves to power Angels past Cubs, 6-2 Mike Trout homered, Mickey Moniak had a three-run double and Luis Rengifo hit a tying homer and a tiebreaking RBI single in the Los Angeles Angels’ 6-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs. Trout and Moniak also made stellar defensive plays for the Angels, who are on their first three-game winning streak in two weeks. Hard-throwing reliever Ben Joyce earned his first major league victory for the Angels. Trey Mancini hit an RBI double and scored on Miguel Amaya’s single for the Cubs, who have lost three straight and nine of 13. Tigers at Phillies, PPD, – Phillies-Tigers game postponed to Thursday due to smoke from Canadian wildfires The Philadelphia Phillies’ series finale against the Detroit Tigers was postponed due to poor air quality caused by smoke from Canadian wildfires. The game was rescheduled for 6:05 p.m. on Thursday, originally an off day for both teams. Philadelphia won 1-0 Tuesday in haze and with the smell of smoke in the air. Phillies players and manager Rob Thomson said the conditions did not affect them, though a strong wind blowing in from center field halted three would-be home runs short of the fence. White Sox at Yankees, PPD – White Sox-Yankees postponed, Rodón throws simulated game despite hazardous air The hazardous air quality at Yankee Stadium didn’t prevent Carlos Rodón from putting in some work. With several members of the New York Yankees’ front office watching closely, Rodón threw 20 pitches in a simulated game on the field Wednesday afternoon — the latest step in his long rehabilitation from back trouble. The left-hander faced teammates Jake Bauers and Oswaldo Cabrera under a hazy sky in the Bronx, which smelled of smoke because of Canadian wildfires that disrupted professional sports schedules along the East Coast of the United States. A little while after Rodón was on the mound, the unhealthy air prompted Major League Baseball to postpone New York’s game against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday — along with the Detroit Tigers’ game in Philadelphia. After months of speculation, Messi announced his decision to join a Miami franchise that has been led by another global soccer icon in David Beckham since its inception but has yet to make any real splashes on the field. That will likely soon change. One of Inter Miami’s owners, Jorge Mas, tweeted out a photo of a darkly silhouetted Messi jersey shortly before the Argentinian great revealed his decision in interviews with Spanish news outlets Mundo Deportivo and Sport. The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner makes his move after two years with Paris Saint-Germain. MLS – Messi heads to Miami as latest big name to raise soccer’s profile in US Lionel Messi is set to become part of the next chapter of men’s soccer in North America. Messi’s announcement that he will join Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami is another landmark moment for the league and the sport in the United States. But he’s only the latest big-name international player to bring his talents to the U.S. It started with Pelé, Franz Beckenbauer and Johan Cryuff in the NASL, and since the MLS was launched other stars like David Beckham, Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimović have raised the profile of the game in North America. Golf – McIlroy, a strong anti-Saudi voice, now feels like ‘sacrificial lamb’ amid merger Rory McIlroy says the PGA Tour’s collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s wealth fund makes him feel like a sacrificial lamb. McIlroy has been the strongest anti-Saudi voice during the disruption brought on by LIV Golf. He was among those left in the dark on the agreement that merges the business end of the PGA Tour, European tour and the Public Investment Fund. McIlroy says Saudi Arabia was going to keep spending money in golf. He says the tour is better off having it as a minority investor instead of trying to keep up and going to court over lawsuits. Golf – Hypocrisy isn’t new in sports, it’s just more obvious in PGA Tour-LIV Golf merger Major League Baseball was once so concerned about gambling it banned Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays just for working as casino greeters. Now MLB itself and almost all its teams have official casino sponsors. The NCAA railed for decades that paying players would destroy college sports, all while raking in billions off of their unpaid labor. Now schools boast of booster collectives that help recruit top talent to their teams. So when the PGA Tour overcame its indignation and agreed to merge with LIV Golf the flip-flop followed a long-established tradition in sports of flexible attitudes. NFL – Jaylon Johnson hopes to remain with Bears, seeks contract extension Cornerback Jaylon Johnson insists he is not worried about his future with the Chicago Bears and hopes to remain with the team beyond next season. Johnson says he “100%” would like a contract extension as he enters the fourth and final year of his rookie deal. Johnson has established himself as one of Chicago’s best players. His absence from voluntary offseason activities until this week stirred speculation that he was upset and holding out for a new deal. But he insists that wasn’t the case. Johnson says his main reason for remaining home in Fresno, California, was simply to spend time with his 3-year-old daughter. He also had charitable commitments, including a golf tournament this past weekend as well as a nonprofit football camp. NFL – Colts keep Rodgers out of practice as NFL investigates gambling allegations Indianapolis Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers Sr. sat out of Wednesday’s practice, two days after team officials said they were aware of an NFL investigation into gambling allegations about one of Indy’s players. Neither the Colts nor the league have publicly identified Rodgers as the target. But Rodgers issued a statement on Twitter acknowledging he made an “error in judgment” just hours after media reports linked him to the investigation. Coach Shane Steichen would not say whether Rodgers would practice until there is a resolution. Tennis – Gauff is 0-7 vs. Swiatek after losing to her in the French Open quarterfinals Coco Gauff has lost in the French Open quarterfinals to two-time champion Iga Swiatek in a rematch of last year’s final at Roland Garros. The No. 1-ranked Swiatek won 6-4, 6-2 on Wednesday and has not dropped a set in the tournament. Swiatek will face 14th-seeded Beatriz Haddad Maia in Thursday’s semifinals. Gauff is a 19-year-old American who has lost all seven matches she has played against Swiatek. Haddad Maia is the first Brazilian woman to reach a Grand Slam semifinal since 1968. She eliminated No. 7 Ons Jabeur in three sets earlier Wednesday. Alexander Zverev and Casper Ruud reached the men’s semifinals. NCAAFB – Ex-Florida State football player acquitted in fatal shooting A South Florida jury has agreed that a former Florida State football player acted in self-defense when he fatally shot one man and injured another several hours after he scuffled with his girlfriend. Travis Rudolph was found not guilty Wednesday of one count of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder by a Palm Beach County jury. Rudolph was first arrested in April 2021 after investigators say four men went to his home several hours after he fought with his girlfriend. Rudolph armed himself with a semi-automatic rifle and opened fire on them as they drove away. He testified that the men shot back at him. Investigators say they never found evidence of the fleeing men returning fire. A statement also was posted on his Twitter page, but neither mentioned a cause of death or where he died. The Iron Sheik, whose real name was Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, grew up in Iran. Murray had 34 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, getting the rebound he needed with 9 seconds remaining. Jokic finished with 32 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists. Game 4 is Friday in Miami. Jimmy Butler scored 28 points for Miami, and Bam Adebayo finished with 22 points and 17 rebounds for the Heat. The Phoenix Mercury were on the road for only the second time this season, since Griner missed all of last season while detained before a prisoner swap in December. People were shouting words of encouragement to Griner when she was out to dinner with teammates. She also met in private before Wednesday’s game with the women’s basketball team from Baylor. That campus about 100 miles away is where she was part of a 40-0 national championship in 2012. NHL – 2023 NHL Stanley Cup Finals – (best of seven) Tonight Vegas Golden Knights at Florida Panthers, 8:00 p.m. (VGK leads 2-0) MLS –Messi picks MLS’s Inter Miami in a move that stuns soccer after exit from PSG Lionel Messi says he is coming to Inter Miami and joining Major League Soccer. WWE – The Iron Sheik, charismatic former pro wrestling villain, dies at 81 The Iron Sheik, a former pro wrestler who played a burly, bombastic villain in 1980s battles with some of the sport’s biggest stars, has died at age 81. The WWE posted an article confirming the death of the ex-wrestler and Twitter personality Wednesday. A statement also was posted on his Twitter page, but neither mentioned a cause of death or where he died. The Iron Sheik, whose real name was Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, grew up in Iran. In his pro career, he donned curled boots and used the “Camel Clutch” as his finishing move on matches while playing the role of an anti-American heel for the WWF, which later became the WWE. The Los Angeles Angels dropped game 2 of the series to the Chicago White Sox, after Tyler Anderson surrendered 5 runs in the 4th. The Halos weren't able to mount any offense outside of the 3 runs they had at that point courtesy of Shohei Ohtani, Taylor Ward, and Gio Urshela. We're asking the question; will the Angels regret the Tyler Anderson signing, or was this just a clunker of a start? We'll talk about it in segment 1!Then, what kind of impact does Anthony Rendon being in the lineup make for guys like Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout? Rhett Bollinger has covered the Los Angeles Angels on MLB.com since 2019. This week, he joins us on the Jack Vita Show to discuss the latest news and stories from around Major League Baseball. Perhaps the best story of the week is the rapid emergence of Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak. In 2016, the Philadelphia Phillies made Moniak the no. 1 overall pick in the MLB Amateur Draft. Moniak made his Major League debut in 2020, appearing in eight games in the COVID-shortened season. He played in 21 games in 2021. Over 29 games between 2020 and 2021, Moniak struggled to find success, slashing just .128/.241/.432 with one home run and three RBI in 55 plate appearances. Moniak spent the majority of the 2022 season in the minors, and at the trade deadline, the Phillies gave up on their former top prospect, sending him to the Angels in a swap for starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard. Moniak impressed in the Cactus League this spring. Had the Angels not signed veteran outfielder Brett Phillips to a Major League deal, Moniak may have cracked the club's Opening Day roster. Moniak was recently called up to the Angels' big league team. Through his first ten games, Moniak is slashing a remarkable .419/.438/1.373 with four home runs and seven RBI. Phillips was recently designated for assignment, and it appears Moniak is here to stay in the big leagues, at least for the time being. Rhett and Jack discuss Moniak's hot start, and Jack shares a Moniak story from spring training. The Angels are off to a strong 28-23 start. The club hasn't posted a winning season since 2015, and hasn't made a postseason appearance since 2015. Rhett and Jack talk about why this year feels different, though. Is this the Angels' best team since winning the American League West in 2014? They also discuss the impact of manager Phil Nevin, and why he appears to be a better fit to manage this Angels team than Joe Maddon. Shohei Ohtani is in the final year of his contract with the Angels. Is there a realistic possibility that he could get traded before this summer's trade deadline? Where will Ohtani sign when he hits the open market? Do the Angels have a good chance of keeping the 2021 American League MVP? Rhett weighs in. Later, Jack shares his idea to stop tanking in professional sports. Plus, what if MLB split its league into two leagues and started using relegation? All this, and much more, in the latest episode of the Jack Vita Show! Prior to covering the Angels, Rhett was MLB.com's Minnesota Twins beat reporter from 2011 through 2018. He attended USC, and in this episode, he shares his best Will Ferrell story. You can follow Rhett (@RhettBollinger) on Twitter and check out his work at MLB.com.

The Los Angeles Angels have found their 4th outfielder in Brett Phillips, a beloved player who brings positivity and good character to the club! Looking at his numbers, you may not be too impressed and your initial reaction may be confusion, but the Super Halo Bros. are here to let you know there's no cause for concern! We'll dive into the details, Phillips' stats, and why he makes sense as the 4th outfielder for the Halos. Plus, we'll discuss his media introduction and what he said about his routine, discipline, and role on the team that stood out to us!Then, now that he will be the 4th outfielder, what does this mean for Mickey Moniak and Jo Adell? We'd been expecting one of them to make the club out of Spring Training and fill in behind Mike Trout, Hunter Renfroe, and Taylor Ward, but now it's looking more likely that they will begin their seasons in AAA. We'll tell you why this will end up being a good thing for both players heading into this season in segment 2!Plus, the Miami Marlins have made it even more clear that they're ready to deal one of their starting pitchers with the recent signing of Johnny Cueto, and we wonder if the Angels have what it takes to get a deal done. Earlier this week, Locked On Marlins host Peter Pratt pondered some potential outfielders who could help Miami, and we discuss the idea of Jo Adell or Mickey Moniak plus some shortstop help making it happen in segment 3!GET IN OUR VOICEMAIL! Plus, the Miami Marlins have made it even more clear that they're ready to deal one of their starting pitchers with the recent signing of Johnny Cueto, and we wonder if the Angels have what it takes to get a deal done. Earlier this week, Locked On Marlins host Peter Pratt pondered some potential outfielders who could help Miami, and we discuss the idea of Jo Adell or Mickey Moniak plus some shortstop help making it happen in segment 3! Locked On Giants – Daily Podcast On The San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants' 2022 season has been disappointing, and it's just about time to start thinking about the future. There is reason for optimism in that respect, and the Giants announced some welcome news this week. Casey Schmitt, who's been tearing it up all season offensively and defensively for the High-A Eugene Emeralds, was promoted to Double-A. Also in good news, Marco Luciano has returned from the back injury that kept him out of action for two months. Hopefully Schmitt thrives in Double-A, and hopefully Luciano can make it to Double-A by season's end. Kyle Harrison is currently in Double-A and continues to dominate. There's a chance he could make it to Triple-A or even the majors by the end of the season. Will Wilmer Flores be back with the Giants next year? Flores has been a popular and productive Giant in his three years in San Francisco, and there's likely interest in bringing him back. Did Giants president of baseball ops Farhan Zaidi pass on Mickey Moniak or Jarred Kelenic at the trade deadline? Moniak was traded to the Angels for Noah Syndergaard, but the former No. 1 overall pick isn't highly regarded anymore and would've been a very disappointing return for Carlos Rodón. Kelenic likely wasn't offered for Rodón. How much bullpen turnover should we expect from this year to next? Probably a significant amount. Dom Leone and José Álvarez are impending free agents, and several others can be optioned. Many Giants prospects likely to get a look in the next two months are relievers, such as Randy Rodriguez, who was just promoted to Triple-A, and R.J. Dabovich, who's also in Triple-A.Find and follow Locked On Giants on your favorite podcast platforms:

Evolvepreneur Secrets for Entrepreneurs Show With Shelby Olyschlager
Welcome to the Evolvepreneur Secrets Show Join me today where we dig deep with our guests and get you the best concepts and strategies to fast-track your business. My very special guest today is Barry Moniak ... Fearless leadership is based on a firm understanding that the greatest barrier to health, wealth and happiness is fear. Most personal, professional and organizational choices or decisions are typically made from a place of fear. Stress, anxiety, dread, panic, shame, even the aversion to work, are just a few of the manifestations of fear. Why isn't this addressed? Because we're afraid. Fear isn't our friend – but it could be. Innovative leaders need to be fearless. Barry Moniak helps executives evolve above a fear-based existence by developing the ability to face, embrace and ultimately befriend fears that defeat lesser teams. Barry is a fear expert. His vocation is Trusted Advisory Business Consultant. His avocation is Certified Ski Instructor. Both require the integration of a fearless mindset and skillset – literally needing to befriend what at times we fear most.

Marc has a terrible taste in his mouth from the 76ers loss to the Raptors last night in the "6." James Harden added 15 assists, but not much more, and it was VERY clear that they missed Matisse Thybulle on the defensive end of the floor. This team looks like they've quit on their coach, and this coach looks like he's quit on his team. It's not a good spot for the Sixers to be a couple of days before the playoffs. The Phillies ARE BACK BABY! It's Opening Day, and this lineup that has the potential to be one of the best in franchise history returns to Citizens Bank Park to BASH it's into ending the 10 year playoff drought. Michael Barkann, host of Phillies Pre/Post-Game coverage joins the show to help us celebrate in style! In a very disappointing turn of events, Mickey Moniak, who was set to break camp as the starting CF, ended up fracturing his hand in the last Spring Training game to put him out 406 weeks. Everybody in the Philadelphia area is hoping, for his sake, it's closer to a 4 week time table. #JamesHarden #JoelEmbiid #Sixers #BenSimmons #PhiladelphiaEagles #PhiladelphiaFlyers #JoelEmbiid #TyreseMaxey #JalenHurts #Phillies #BryceHarper #KyleSchwarberApril 8th, 2022: The Farzy Show with Marc FarzettaThe Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta - Michael Barkann joins The Farzy Show on the Rothman Orthopedic Guest Line! The Sixers HUNG ON vs the Cavaliers to clinch a playoff spot this season, and now have the possibility to finish anywhere from the 1st seed to the 6th seed in the East, but are LOCKED IN to a playoff spot. In this episode, Connor discusses an awesome day down in Clearwater as Bryce Harper and Mickey Moniak both had multi-homerun games for the Philadelphia Phillies against the Detroit Tigers! Aaron Nola also looked impressive in the win, is this performance enough to convince us that he's ready to go for opening day? We start the Final Four of our top 8 moments bracket, and in this week's Off The Poll question, who should start in CF for the Philadelphia Phillis, Mickey Moniak or Matt Vierling? The 76ers came out and "wasted" 17 possessions against a Suns team who already clinched the #1 seed in the Western Conference. The Sixers couldn't overcome a 2-11 night from James Harden, and an in jury scare from Joel Embiid, as the Suns "flex" and win by 10. The Phillies continue to mash in Clearwater as Bryce Harper hits 2 homers, Mickey Monica homers for the 3rd straight day, and Nick Castellanos makes his Phillies debut to yet more unfortunate timing by a broadcast crew. This team could have contributions from lots of young talent including Moniak, Bryson Stott who is playing his way onto the Opening Day Roster, and Matt Vierling who looks to be the leader for the starting job in CF. Joe Girardi has some tough choices to make. Both require the integration of a fearless mindset and skillset – literally having to befriend what at times we fear most.As a national business leader, I transformed a 97% attrition rate of newly hired salespeople into a 97% close rate in the first month. Today, my clients achieve the same kind of results by getting their teams to befriend fear just as expert skiers befriend black diamond slopes. They literally transform the energy of fear into innovation, inspiration, motivation and momentum. My approach to fearless leadership consulting, therefore, is to disrupt the status quo and foster a fearless culture. I get mindful leaders to develop an eagerness to face, embrace and befriend their fears. It takes courage for executives to address their own fears, but when they do, it exponentially enhances their capacity to help their teams do the same. When we understand who our people are, what they're afraid of, and why they function as they do under pressure, we know how each needs to be led.
Despite some more technical difficulties, the boys are back! Brandon is hanging out in Needles, CA and Sam is on his way to Florida but that doesn't stop your favorite NL East fans from talking about everything that's happened this week. To get started, the Segura Girardi drama is brought up from earlier in the week and the boys try to determine if the Mets dugout issues or the Phillies dugout issues are worse. Then they move on to the Mets' horrific string of injuries including the Kevin Pillar shot to the face from the night before, and how it may affect the division standings moving forwards. Afterwards, the potential of a deGrom of the Week curse is brought up, Ian Anderson's continued success and the return of Sam's favorite player Jazz Chisholm Jr. Finally, they wrap up with Feast or Famine, the upcoming series and some plugs before calling it a day.
