The 2024 Minor Premiers, the Melbourne Storm defeated rivals in the Sydney Roosters, overcoming adversity right from kick-off with the opening exchanges of the game, seeing the boys from Bondi jump to a 6-nil lead, capitalising on a Nelson Asofa-Solomona sin bin and a 12 man defensive side, only for Storm to show great reslience, not crumble, square the ledger and dominate for the rest of the contest on the back of the Big Four, with Hughes, Papenhuyzen, Grant and Munster stepping up to dominate proceedings.
