The Tip Sheet is as busy as ever despite the week off for the Parramatta Eels as Sixties, Forty20 and Clint sort through a bucket load of NRL news and happenings. First up, and on a serious note, is the most recent update to the Dylan Brown's legal situation. The boys discuss what lies ahead for Brown following him pleading guilty to two charges on Wednesday. The NRL is yet to deliver their final punishment and regardless of how that falls, Brown has let plenty of people down with his actions. A flurry of re-signings happened in the mean time for the Eels with Josh Hodgson, Daejarn Asi, Matt Doorey and Bailey Simonsson sorting their near futures out at the club. The contract talk segues to Bryce Cartwright following media reports of external interest in the in-form backrower as the panel looks at what it might take to pry him away from the Eels. The NRLW has been busy as well with their roster finally locked in. With the competition around the corner the boys discuss their expectations for the new look squad and how their team identity might be shifting from what we saw in 2022. There were some earth shaking revelations in the NRL this week with Justin Holbrook sacked by the Titans while Luke Brooks is a Silver Tail. For the Gold Coast they now turn to Des Hasler while the Sea Eagles went on a recruitment and retention spree with Brooks joining a number of other signings on the Northern Beaches. Tigertown is also in the spotlight this week with the departure of Brooks set against reports of clashes between Benji Marshall and Scott Fulton. Reece Walsh copped a 3-game suspension for the expletive laden barrage he delivered to referee Chris Butler. Was it the right punishment? Could Butler have handled the situation differently? What can league refs learn from their union counterparts? The show looks at all of that and more.
Catch up on all the Rugby League news from NRL 360, Wednesday the 28th of June, with hosts Braith Anasta and Gorden Tallis. Braith and Gorden are joined by James Hooper and Michael Carayannis to discuss the news that Reece Walsh has been found guilty of referee abuse and will miss three weeks of action. The boys also talk through the Dylan Brown case and how the Maroons will reshuffle for Game III. The Tip Sheet previews one of Parramatta's traditional grudge matches as the Eels visit the Bulldogs on the King's Birthday public holiday. Sixties and Forty20 cover yesterday's result in the Jersey Flegg before running their eyes over the NSW Cup and NRL matches. The losses of Wiremu Greig, Joe Ofahengaue and Dylan Brown are somewhat offset by the huge return of Reagan Campbell-Gillard from a groin injury. Junior Paulo is also back after representing the Blues in Adelaide. The boys look at how the likely inclusion of Daejarn Asi will impact the team and what needs to be done to ensure the Eels secure the win on the weekend that 'BA' becomes King Arthur as the longest serving head coach of the club.

There is plenty to talk about coming off a long bye week and The Tip Sheet covers it all in a massive episode. Sixties, Forty20 and Clint kick things off with a nod to head coach Brad Arthur as he overtakes Brian Smith to become the longest tenured coach of all time at the Parramatta Eels. The boys then have a serious discussion about Dylan Brown and the circumstances that led to the NRL standing him down for the foreseeable future. The talk turns to who will replace him with new recruit Daejarn Asi primed to be the next man to step up. It almost wouldn't be a news podcast without another Eel injured and frustratingly it is breakout stud Wiremu Greig who has joined the injured list. Wiremu has a Lisfranc fracture - an injury that will likely end his season. There is good news though with Reagan Campbell-Gillard back from a groin injury as well as more reinforcements on the horizon. Next up the show brings you all of the news and award winners from the Junior Representatives Awards Night. The gala event celebrated all three teams making the finals and the SG Ball claiming a record setting 14th title. Origin and concussion dominate the backend of the show. Injuries to Nathan Cleary and the live injury to Api Koroisau have thrown the NSW Blues into disarray. Will Mitchell Moses be called up? What does that mean for the Eels?
