Hey guys! Today we chatted about how Jackie wants to be tickled when she goes to get a massage and if there are any places that actually offer it.. We spoke to Teddy Swims and he told us how he was feeling when he performed at the NRL Grand Final, and we met a guy named Boris who has been single for 30 years so, we tried to score him a date! Plus so much more good stuff!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Teddy Swims is here, baby! We caught up with him about his new song with Tones and I and David Guetta, and he spilled on how that collab actually came together. He also told us about his wild NRL Grand Final performance — yep, the TNT cover that had the whole country buzzing — and how he somehow pulled it off in a skirt. Teddy’s been loving life down under, showing off his new UV tattoos that glow under blacklight (he’s basically a walking rave), and he says Australia feels like home now. He’s manifesting a sold-out stadium tour next time he’s here… and we’re totally on board for that.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Teddy Swims joins us to chat through his tour, his incredible performance at the NRL Grand Final and some scary health scares he's had before his upcoming shows. Hear the full chat! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Teddy Swims joins Maroon & Hindy on Triple M’s Rush Hour fresh off his massive NRL Grand Final performance. The viral moment? His powerhouse cover of AC/DC’s T.N.T. - a tribute to Aussie rock that blew up social media feeds across the country. Teddy opens up about how he was first introduced to Acca Dacca and why Aussie rock means so much to him. “Everybody’s paid and fed, so I would say that’s pretty successful,” he laughs - reflecting on the grind behind the glory. Despite 8.7 billion global streams and arena tours around the world, Teddy admits that 2024 was the first year he actually made money: “I actually made money for the first time last year. It took five years of touring for us to start seeing anything. And it wasn’t much either - I think we made twenty grand or something like that.” We also dive into his creative process - from songs that come to him in his sleep, to waking up with strange voice memos and decoding them later in the studio. “Some of them are just me mumbling half a lyric or humming a melody at 3 a.m.,” he says. Teddy also chats tattoos - the favourites, the mistakes, and the meaning behind them - before wrapping up the chat by taking on Hindy in a chaotic quiz: NRL vs NFL. This week on Bludging on the Blindside, Roy and HG discuss the Broncos and Reece Walsh's stunning performance at the NRL Grand Final, Teddy Swims visits the heritage listed toilets and the 'Year of healing' for Manly ended last weekend.

In the lead to this week's huge NRL Grand Final between the Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm, I had the absolute privilege of chatting recently with rugby league legend Wally Lewis on Legends with Bevo! We covered some really important topics, including how he's going with his battle with CTE and whether more needs to be done to protect today's players after their careers. Wally also shared his thoughts on the season of his beloved Brisbane Broncos, what it meant to represent Queensland in State of Origin and his country, and even opened up about his wedding earlier this year. And of course, we found out why he's not a fan of being called “The King” Such an inspiring and honest chat with one of the all-time greats. Thanks so much to Wally for his time, to Gabrielle Prabhu from Dementia Australia for teeing up the chat, a big thanks to the team at Podbooth for a great job of putting the episode together and Callum Dunk from Funky Dunky Marketing for putting together this thumbnail.A huge thankyou also to our loyal series sponsors Steve Chapman from VH Motor Co and Ryan Bridges from Elders Goolwa.
