Wear a helmet and make sure your shoes are on tight, because we are covering the impactful (see what I did there?) holiday film Home Alone! We reminisce about the 90's and Christmases passed, and discuss the great performances, cartoonish violence, sentimental heart, and fun of the Christmas classic. I Love This You Should Too is hosted by Samantha and Indy Randhawa Home Alone is a 1990 American comedy film directed by Chris Columbus and written and produced by John Hughes. The first film in the Home Alone franchise, the film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, a young boy who defends his suburban Chicago home from a home invasion by a pair of robbers after his family accidentally leaves him behind on their Christmas vacation to Paris. The cast also features Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, and Catherine O'Hara. Pigeon Lady by Wolfie's Just Fine: Pigeon Lady

Another Patreon exclusive is out of the vault and we're talking the 1992 movie 3 Ninjas! Are Jake and Cody recording together for the first time? What do we think about the UFO/UAP news? Is one of us an alien? Did an alien make this movie? Was ninja stock up in the 90s? Does the movie hold up? Was the grandpa's stunt double obvious? How is 9/11 connected to this movie and actor Victor Wong? Would Tum Tum survive in real life? Would be be able to defeat the 3 Ninjas in a fight? Is Anthony taking the 3 Ninjas side? Why couldn't the villain Snyder tell that the undercover white cop at the beginning of the movie wasn't Arab? Was Snyder a generic 90s villain? Why was the only black kid in the movie cast as a bully? Was the dad a racist? Was he an absent father? Does he deadname his children? Are the 3 Ninjas ACAB? What happened to their babysitter after they were kidnapped? Would we be the 3 stoner villains in the movie? Were they similar to Bill & Ted/Koopa's henchmen in the 90s Super Mario Bros. Movie? Could we take the kidnappers in a fight? Was Anthony inspired as a kid to use laxative against home intruders? What scenes do we remember the most vividly? When was the last time we all watched this movie? Do we like this more than Super Mario Bros. 93? Did this movie have any notable actors? How is this movie connected to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie? Was the TMNT movie not made for kids? What else has the director of this movie, Jon Turteltaub, made? Are we planning to do an episode on Warriors of Virtue? Is Cody doing stand-up comedy with a bunch of big names in LA this week? What happened to sketch comedy? What is Jake's Patreon exclusive dark secret? What is the scar of shame? Who had the best first dark secret? Who should be murdered for their dark secret? Which 3 Ninjas would each of us be? Why do Snyder's henchmen wear plastic visors? Did the 3 Ninjas boil a guy's face off? Does the soundtrack have too much whimsy? Would these kids be taken by CPS? Who would win: the 3 Ninjas or Kevin McCallister from Home Alone? Can the Pigeon Lady and Shovel Man take on the grandpa? Who had better traps for the bad guys: Kevin or the 3 Ninjas? Is diarrhea their only weapon? Did the 3 Ninjas almost murder a guy by hanging? Was Emily an undercover agent for Snyder… or secretly his daughter?! Who had the coolest mask? Which ninja was the best actor? Does Cody have any ninja skills? Would he be the greatest or worst ninja? Would Cody survive a ninja attack? Should they reboot the 3 Ninjas? Who would play are grandpa if we were cast in the reboot? Do we have the Stephen Rosenfield-like ability to get $7000 from each Patron? Could we have beaten the bullies in a game of basketball? Does 2 months of training as a ninja equal dope basketball skills? Are the sequels to this movie any good? Home Alone death match, Round 2! FIGHT! Kevin is back, this time his family still are a bunch of jerks to him, but unlike the title, he isn't left at home! He gets lost in New York! And yes, the Wet Bandits are back, only this time, they're the new and still stupid Wet Bandits! In this sequel to the classic Christmas movie we see Macaulay Culkin reprise his role as Kevin MaCallister, and once again he's the victim of abuse from his dumb jerky older brother Buzz. Oh yeah, and the parents see the abuse and they don't punish Buzz! So he's sent upstairs again to stay the night, but this time the day of the family trip, he makes the trip to the airport with the family, only one problem. Kevin got on the wrong flight! Now Kevin has landed in New York City, and not to mention, he has his dad's wallet and credit cards! He gets to have some fun, take a taxi, going to Chinatown to buy fireworks, and visiting the World Trade Center Twin Towers, oh yeah, and commit credit card fraud by checking into the Plaza Hotel and racking up a near $1,000 bill on his dad's credit card! While Kevin is having fun, guess what? Harry and Marv are in New York as well! Both the former Wet Bandits, now Wet Bandits, are planning a Christmas Eve heist to rob a local toy store, while planning and looking around the toy store they run into Kevin. Now Kevin has a new battle plan, after he's found out by Tim Curry and the hotel staff, and is now on the run. Kevin also meets the Pigeon Lady, a homeless lady who he weirdly strikes up and unlikely friendship with. Kevin also needs to prevent Harry and Marv robbing the store. So the battle plan begins! The new house, his uncle's renovated house, and the traps are more deadly than ever! The phantom sense is worse. But the humor is better! Join the gang as they react to this hilarious sequel, also enjoy the same soundtrack music from legendary composer John Williams!

How successful of an arms dealer must Uncle Rob McCallister be to afford this Upper West Side townhouse? Would it have been a better movie if the hotel staff entirely replaced the Sticky Bandits? Why couldn't they mix up the story a little bit so it's not just a carbon copy of part one set in NYC? And what's with that Uncle Frank crotch comment? PLUS: Snooty UWS residents band together Spider-Man-style to fight the holiday evil that is Kevin McCallister! Home Alone 2: Lost in New York stars Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, Catherine O'Hara, John Heard, Kieran Culkin, Tim Curry, Brenda Fricker, Eddie Bracken, Dana Ivey, Sweet Robbie Schneider, and Gerry Bamman as Uncle Frank; directed by Chris Columbus.  Check out the WHM Merch Store featuring new SW Crispy Critters, MINGO!, WHAT IF Donna? & Mortal Kombat designs! Sam and Omar discuss the process like the ritual of breaking up, the details of trying to maintain a relationship, and other stuff.  -- All Regerts, a podcast about regrets, is a comedy podcast that delivers on a genuine, flagrant, and hilarious experience. In an era of fake likes and cloud-chasing, Omar Gonzalez, CPA, and Sam Noorani talk frankly about dumb actions we've done and said that make people feel rather (or super) lousy than make fun of them. We also take outside regrets found all over the news, forums and make fun of them. Sometimes we have guests, or it's just us two of us while sharing what we've learned from our regrets. Or like make fun of them. Whatevs. Live your life, man. Sam Noorani is a comic and writer based out of Austin, TX. She had written, and performed comedy in various locations, leaning towards the weird and ridiculous who performs in various Austin-based theatres.  Omar Gonzalez, CPA, is working at a private non-profit entity. He resides in his adopted hometown of El Paso. Not El Paso, TX, because we are our own unique culture. It was a natural and easy decision for John Williams to agree to write the score to "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" since the original film was so successful and garnered much praise for the Maestro's score. But, was his enthusiasm still there when he saw that the sequel was pretty much a rehash of the original in new locations? The answer seems to be a resounding yes. Though there are many musical moments directly lifted from the first film. Williams does his best to put in some new touches, though he doesn't create much a of a new sound as he did in previous sequel scores. Host Jeff Commings highlights some of the new material, including the new songs Williams and Leslie Bricusse wrote, and theorizes why the Pigeon Lady (played by Oscar winner Brenda Fricker) didn't get a theme.

Christmas movie month continues with this week’s episode, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The holiday hijinx continue for Kevin McCallister as he is once again separated from his family during Christmas time. He runs into his old pals The Wet (no, make that) The Sticky Bandits, Harry and Marv, who have escaped from jail and are on the run. Kevin uses a wide variety of tricks and traps to find himself a hotel room, stay one step ahead of the inept hotel staff, save Mr. Duncan’s toy store and send Harry and Marv back to the big house. He even makes a lifelong friend who has some weird symbiotic relationship with a flock of pigeons. Are Kevin’s parents the most negligent people in Christmas movie history? What’s the deal with Tim Curry’s character? Why does he treat Kevin like a con man from the moment he sees him? Seriously, how bad must the Pigeon Lady smell? Where do I get a copy of Even Filthier Angels so we can review it for the show? Is there anything funnier than seeing Marv get electrocuted? Daniel Stern kills it in this movie! Have a good time listening to this one and keep the holiday cheer going.

Tim and Anthony watch Home Alone 2 (Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, Catherine O'Hara, Tim Curry, Ally Sheedy, Devin Ratray, Brenda Fricker, Rob Schneider) and record a proper episode. The guys also talk about The People vs. George Lucas, and the differences between the Pigeon Lady and Old Man Marley. Tim does his best to sabotage the show with his digestive system. Plus, Joe Pesci speaks like a rabid dog. Tim shares a recent movie theater experience, and the show wraps with a spolier free chat about Mad Max: Fury Road, and Anthony can't wait for the Mad Men finale.
