The choice was regrettable...First up, we see Tim Allen back, after 8 years, as Scott Calvin aka Santa Claus, in 2002's THE SANTA CLAUSE 2. After the elves neglected to read the finer print on the Santa Clause card, SC is left with 27 days to dupe a poor woman into being his wife, or else he can no longer be Santa. Then, we move on to the 2006 follow-up, THE SANTA CLAUSE 3: THE ESCAPE CLAUSE, which sees Tim Allen paired back up with his Jungle 2 Jungle co-star Martin Short, as the nefarious Jack Frost, who wants to take over the Christmas and turn the North Pole into a theme park. Both films are riddled with plot holes, bad jokes, farting reindeer, terrible acting, poorly written scripts, and a lack of magic and charm that the first film conjured. But, both have some pretty funny moments that manage to be bright spots in these two lumps of coal. Is it enough to save the episode, and save Christmas itself?
