The Torah commands us to count the days from Pesach to Shavuos. We call this Sefirat HaOmer. Yet the name is puzzling. One of the most difficult things in davening, praying, is when we say the Shema, and we pronounce Hashem's Name, we are meant to think: He is the Creator of everything.
