The most powerful (and often overlooked) strategies for growing your online coaching business: messy action. If you're waiting for everything to be perfect before launching or making your next move, you're probably delaying your success. Embracing imperfect action can help you move faster, learn quicker, and ultimately get results in your coaching business. -Scripture- For just as the human body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works of obedience is also dead.           James 2:26   Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.                   Zachariah 4:10  Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as for working for the Lord and not for people.         Colossians 3:23    Grab Your FREEBIE ⬇️ www.simplyjenniferbrown.com   Ready for a Christian Momrepreneur Community? 686 Rejoice and Celebrate, O Gentiles, Along With His People, A Guided Christian Meditation on Romans 15:8-10 with the Recenter With Christ app  The purpose of this podcast is to help you find more peace in your life and connect with the true source of peace, Jesus Christ.  Outline: Relaxation, Reading, Meditation, Prayer, Contemplation and Visualization. Get into a place where you can sit comfortably and uninterrupted for about 20 minutes. You should hopefully not be driving or anything tensing or unrelaxing.  If you feel comfortable to do so, I invite you to close your eyes.   Guided Relaxation / Guided Meditation:   Breathe and direct your thoughts to connecting with God. Let your stomach be a balloon inflate,  deflate. Scripture for Meditation Romans 15 NIV 8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God's truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed 9 and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written: “Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;     I will sing the praises of your name.” 10 Again, it says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.” AMP 8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant and a minister to the circumcision (Jews) on behalf of God's truth, to confirm and verify the promises made to the fathers, 9 and for the Gentiles to glorify God for His mercy [to them, since God had no covenant with them]. As it is written and forever remains written, “Therefore I praise You among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.” 10 Again it says, “Rejoice and celebrate, O Gentiles, along with His people.” Meditation on Scripture: For people who have listened many times about God's chosen people we can get desensitized to how miraculous this is. If we are not careful we can get very comfortable with this idea such that it seems obvious. As though God had no other choice then to choose us.  Equally spiritually dangerous is to feel like we somehow pulled a fast one on God and we snuck into the sheepfold some other way than through the door.  With both these thoughts it is important for us to ponder and focus on the idea that God had no obligation to help us out of our fallen state other than the covenant He made for us, and to be clear, unless we are literally Jewish, we were not historically Gods chosen people. God decided to offer that to each of us based on His love. May we glorify Gods mercy.  Meditation of Prayer: Pray as directed by the Spirit. Dedicate these moments to the patient waiting, when you feel ready ask God for understanding you desire from Him. Meditation of God and His Glory / Hesychasm: I invite you to sit in silence feeling patient for your own faults and trials. Summarize what insights you have gained during this meditation and meditate and visualize positive change in your life: This is a listener funded podcast at patreon.com/christianmeditationpodcast Final Question: If you consider the invitation and command to persevere in the faith, what change in your life does that bring to your mind?  FIND ME ON: Download my free app: Recenter with Christ Website - ChristianMeditationPodcast.com Voicemail - (602) 888-3795 Email: jared@christianmeditationpodcast.com Apple Podcasts - Christian Meditation Podcast Facebook.com/christianmeditationpodcast Youtube.com/christianmeditaitonpodcast Twitter - @ChristianMedPod

Motherhood and business are hard work. Good work, but hard. Beyond work, our roles as moms and entrepreneurs is a ministry: a way to steward the lives God puts in our path, whether it's our children and family or the clients we're called to serve.   But as with all hard things, sometimes we need encouragement. We need to be reminded of why this work matters and how we are to persevere in times where we feel the most challenged.    My faith is an anchor in my life, and my business. I may not have the loud evangelist type of personality that is preaching to the world, but I believe there is purpose in how I show up, how I treat people and try to be a light in a dark and messy world.    Whether you are a fellow believer or you aren't, I invite you to listen to this episode because I'm confident the 7 Bible verses will have something important for you to hear.   In this episode, you'll learn about 7 truths backed by Scripture:   • The truth: You have a gift to share. The Scripture: “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." (1 Peter 4:10) • The truth: All big things start small. The Scripture: "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin." (Zechariah 4:10) • The truth: It won't be easy; keep going. The Scripture: For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12:11)   • The truth: You will have doubts. The Scripture: I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13) • The truth: By caring for your clients, you are caring for God. The Scripture: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. (Colossians 3:23)   • The truth: Integrity matters. The integrity of the honest keeps them on track; the deviousness of crooks brings them to ruin. (Proverbs 11:3)   • The truth: Learning is valuable. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. (Proverbs 4:7)   Ready for private 1:1 life and business support in this season as a creative entrepreneur or coach? When he was here on earth, he was in a perfect human body. The one main reason we look UP to God our father is because he is not like us. We are flawed, not Him. Here are some of his attributes. The family sat down at the table, and dad asked his young son to “say grace” over the meal. While the family waited, the little boy quickly eyed every dish which his mother had prepared; then he bowed his head and prayed, “Lord, I don't like the look of it, but thank you — I'll eat it anyway.” amen. People could say something similar to the Apostle: “Look at your life, Paul. I don't like the looks of it. What has following Jesus gotten you, other than trials, troubles, and tribulations? You speak of victory, but I see no light at the end of your tunnel — all I see is the grave. Where, Paul, is your victory?” (put on one slide. I will not be elaborating) 1. Trials 2. Troubled 3. Tribulation Hebrews 12:18-29 Peter alludes to this judgment in 1 Peter 4:17: “For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” Divine shaking separates the shakable from the unshakable. 1 John 2:17 states, “The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.” Divine shaking intends to bring to an end the worldly system to bring about the kingdom rule of Christ. THE WORD OF GOD CANNOT BE SHAKEN Mark 13:31 quotes Jesus as saying, ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.' And Peter tells us in 1 Peter 1:25 that ‘… the word of the Lord stands forever.' God's Word, like Himself, is not created. It will remain forever. It is unchangeable. We may try to change and manipulate it – but in the end, we will discover that our efforts were in vain. It cannot be shaken! The Bible is living and powerful, and eternal. Each time we read the Bible, we may be sure of: three unshakable things:• ITS POWER CANNOT BE SHAKEN. • Hebrews 4:12 says this about Scripture – ‘For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.' • The word of God has power to convict, to convert, to cleanse, to comfort, and to counsel – and its power will never alter. • ITS PROMISES CANNOT BE SHAKEN. • It has been estimated that there are over 30,000 promises in God's word – ranging from promises that God will never leave or forsake us, to pledges of holy and righteous judgment. • And He will remain faithful to them all – for the God of truth and faithfulness has made these promises. • ITS PROPHECIES CANNOT BE SHAKEN. • Many of the Bibles prophecies have already been literally fulfilled and the prophecies that await fulfilment will also one day be literally fulfilled. We serve an unchanging God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

In this episode, Chris Rives, Jeremy Meyer and Geoff Van De Merwe discuss Geoff's participation in the re|engage program at Grace church and the life change that took place in his marriage, family, and walk with the Lord. Share, listen and then discuss the Episode 9 Study Questions (https://bit.ly/2WOauJZ) in a one on one conversation or with a group of men. APPLICATION What are some ways you have seen God work in your life through participation in re|engage, Re:Gen, a Men's Roundtable study, or another ministry area of the church? What is one thing you learned about yourself through this process? What did you learn about God? When did you first realize your need for God? What changes took place in your life after you made this decision? What evidence do you see in your life of how God is changing you and stretching you? How can you be “deliberate in your steps?” What would this look like on a practical level? KEY POINTS Geoff and his wife began attending Grace Church with the hopes of helping their children and providing a positive environment for them. While not believers themselves, they had seen the benefit Grace Forge ministry had in their oldest son's life and they wanted to get their family plugged into a church. They heard about the re|engage ministry on their first visit and decided to attend the following week. With their marriage in crisis, they were instantly met with compassion and acceptance. Their current ways of thinking and relating to one another were challenged and they began to break down walls of resentment and anger. Through their experience in re|engage, Geoff and his wife, Emily, also became aware of their need for God and made the decision to begin a personal relationship with Christ. Up until this point, Geoff had seen Jesus as a good man and teacher. He was now able to see Jesus as His Savior and take steps to depend on God and release control. This decision spurred Geoff to begin reading his Bible, talking to God on a regular basis, and taking small steps to restore his relationship with his wife and reconnect with his family. The combination of participating in re|engage and deciding to follow Christ led to tremendous life change. Geoff was able to lay down his anger and release the turmoil he had been keeping inside. He learned about the concept of “staying in your circle,” a principle discussed in re|engage, and began taking responsibility rather than blaming his wife for the problems in their marriage. As he and his wife began to function as one unit, with God in the center, they began talking more and fighting less. They were able to use this energy to pour into their children's lives and into their relationship. Geoff saw his marriage and family transformed. Geoff's story reveals the importance of being deliberate in our decision making and the way we lead our lives. By avoiding passivity, depending on God, and seeking what God would have us to do in every situation, we can move towards the abundant life God has for us. SCRIPTURE For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Matthew 12:34 (ESV) We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV) RESOURCES MENTIONED Learn more about the re|engage ministry at Grace Church by visiting: gracechurchsc.org/connect/pastoral-care/re-engage Unoffendable Book: LINK Have questions? 210 Jesus Understands our Temptation A Guided Christian Meditation on Hebrews 4:14-16 I'm Chaplain Jared and I work as a hospice chaplain and an ICU chaplain, my purpose in making this podcast is to help you find more peace in your life and to be more open for your heart to be changed by the Spirit of God. By using centuries old form of Christian Meditation named Lectio Divina: Outline: Relaxation, Reading, Meditation, Prayer, Contemplation and Visualization. Get into a place where you can sit comfortably and uninterrupted for about 20 minutes. You should hopefully not be driving or anything tensing or unrelaxing. If you feel comfortable to do so, I invite you to close your eyes. Guided Relaxation / Guided Meditation: Breathe and direct your thoughts to contacting God. Let your stomach be a balloon inflate, deflate. Bible verses for Meditation: Hebrews 4 NIV 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. NABRE 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin. 16 So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help Meditation on Scripture: For many Christians this Wed was Ash Wed and this week began a period of 40 days of fasting called lent. In episode 75 I covered the beggining verses of Matthew 4 which is the temptation of Jesus which you may enjoy this week. This week’s scripture is in reference to the experience Jesus has while on earth, living life as a man. Jesus understands what temptation is like. He understands what it is like to give up the necessities of life. Sometimes our greatest sin is when we get consumed with desires that we feel overcome us, but this scripture gives us hope. Our experience with temptation does not need to drive us into the ground in shame, rather our understanding of how Jesus understands this human experience can give us hope in His ability to help us overcome sin. During the weeks that lead up to Easter we can be mindful of this tension. We can observe our temptation within ourselves and plead with God to help us transform on a trajectory similar to His Son. We can approach the throne of grace confidently and as we attempt to overcome temptation and sin we can receive timely help if we consistently approach God in love and humility. As Jesus said, man will not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. In your efforts to reduce your submission to sin and focus on the Sacrifice and Resurrection of Jesus this season, keep the faith. Each time your heart feels discouraged, may it be lifted. Each time you think that you are too far gone or that you have done too much for God to forgive, remember his understanding and his desire for you to keep drawing ever nearer and abandoning sin. Use this time of prayer and fasting as a way to stay connected with Him in the middle of the tumultuous times so when we arrive at the gate he will invite us to enter into his presence because we have spent a life of trying to follow, although in a flawed way. Meditation of Prayer: Pray as directed by the Spirit. Dedicate these moments to the patient waiting, when you feel ready ask God for understanding you desire from Him. Meditation of God and His Glory / Hesychasm: I invite you to sit in silence feeling being patient for your own faults and trials. Summarize what insights you have gained during this meditation and meditate and visualize positive change in your life: This is a listener funded podcast at patreon.com/christianmeditationpodcast Updates: Final Question: How does knowing that Jesus was tempted as we are help you to relate to God? Final Thought: God has an overwhelming desire to help us overcome the natural effects of sin while helping us to develop and embrace his spirit of Grace. Fatih in God is also trusting in His process to transform us. Fortunately or unfortunately this includes a lot of trial and error as we attempt to clearly discern the will of the Lord then struggle against our rebellious natures to return each time we go astray. I firmly believe that it is important for us to take accountability for our sin while also not being bowled over by shame. Allow the peace of our understanding God to enter your heart as you attempt to give up sin in your life. That is what the Easter season is all about. Trust in new beginnings. Trust in an all powerful risen God that has power to transform you and I into His image.
